    The emphasis on the harp at the end is rarely followed by other conductors. To ensure the strings and winds did not overpower the harp at the end was amazing. Just simply stunning. I bet this is how Tchaikovsky intended that part to be played. Like angels accompanying Romeo and Juliet to heaven. Beautiful interpretation at the end!

    Anything and everything can happen during a live performance, the geese flying over, and yes the flute came in early at 13:23 :)

    Now I get it! Now I understand how a particular conductor makes a difference. I love how you make this orchestra speak, Maestro Orozco-Estrada! You brought the best out of the composition as well as the artists in the orchestra. Bravo all of you!

    We are lucky this orchestra and conductor share so many of their complete performances online - unlike the vast majority of other orchestras. It only helps the orchestra and conductor in terms of exposure and name recognition, as we have seen with several soloists on RUclips. The conductor is consistently very fine and is never dull, but like so many of today's conductors (with less than a few fingers worth), the interpretations are not of the highest level. It is just very fine technically, and in this performance - driven such that it is very alive. But, let's not forget that Fantasy is in the title, and there should be mystery and intrigue if one really wants to capture the depth of this gut wrenching work.

    • @bomcabedal
      @bomcabedal 3 года назад +1

      I agree partially. Orozco-Estrada can be quite individual, but he's more sensitive to more modern repertoire. His Martinu symphonies are sensational.

    Magica overture, dove ogni passo del dramma Shakespeariano viene descritto in maniera quasi cinematografica. Bell'interpretazione di Orozco alla guida di un'orchestra al completo in un contesto stivo popolare meraviglioso!

    This Finale of authentic infarction is an outstanding achievement of Chaikovsky, here magistrally performed by this superb Orchestra HR Frankfurt Sinfonien magically conducted by the great Maestro Orozco-Estrada. Chaikovsky composed much more than just a "Fantasy" this is Miracle!!!

    Congratulações a harpista 10:07 (trecho que nunca se ouviu com tanta clareza). Não percam este maestro de vista é jovem e talentoso! Vai dar muito o que falar! Verdadeiro gênio! Minucioso e expressivo. A HR soa diferente sob sua batuta. Faz tranquilamente frente para qualquer orquestra. Parabéns aos dois trompetistas que não deixam nada a desejar. Excelente performance! As cordas estão afinadíssimas e expressivas (percebe-se até sorriso nos músicos ao tocar). O maestro é um seguro líder! Bravíssimo!! Obrigado por ter postado!!!
