Imprint is a very flexible mechanic. It exiles cards one way or another, and then once that card is "imprinted" it has an effect based on one of it's qualities. This makes it so Imprint can do a whole bunch of different stuff. And, over the years we've seen some great imprint cards! In this video I look at the 10 that have left the biggest impact on compeititive Magic: the Gathering.

I can't believe I forgot Chrome Mox!!! When I clicked on this video, I was SURE the #1 would be Isochron Scepter!!
Same here!
I love how versatile imprint is as an ability, its flavor is quite broad and I love when it shows up again.
Mimic vat is my favorite from the list for commander
Two-for-oneing yourself BETTER be good! I think Chrome Mox is the one I've had experience with (and I rarely draft it in MTGO...depends on if I want a storm deck or not, but it getting blown up hurts both aggro and mid-range builds)
combo decks had a weaknesses. they also lacked removal spells.
an isochron scepter deck using counterspell is a solid counter to combo decks. it's fast, it can counter the key combo pieces, and combo decks are more likely to lack removal.
i just realized: with imprint exiling from all players, it's like the recent ian malcolm card!
Its gotta be chrome mox, but im curious how high the new ugins land is
Scepter always seemed like it should have better results and more than 28 points. It seems so broken. Just a counterspell on it can get bonkers
Unfinity: universes beyond! about doctor who: they must do a Celestial toymaker Unfinity card of him... also Rowan Atkinson's red nose parody of the Doctor. For marvel it would be : mojo/mojoverse. Arcade also, the xmen vilain. What if, evidently! and the exiles! (John proudstar warpath morphed as - an exile - killed galactus alone!)
Strata doesn't search only for a basic land.
Most people don't realize that the ingestor flips the power/toughness boost.
it doesnt though
@@jeffreydenenberg7101 Sounds like you're on the list.
Nope, everybody is@@amtracktrack4963
Is Phyrexian ingestor the only card to ever us Y while referencing a increase or decrease?
I'ma be real, I don't like Imprint. It seems like a fun and unique idea but running into it it's just kinda lame. In many ways, it's the exact opposite of "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)"!
#2 - war flashbacks...
Let’s goooo🎉🎉🎉
