We all appreciate Alex that you don't just teach the technique behind the move, you also give us insight into how and when to perform it as well as tips on how we can all be better performers which - is more valuable than anything else at the end of the day. Anyone agree?
@@AlexPandreaHi!!! Just want you to know...you've made it so easy and clear for me to learn legit sleights. I really appreciate everything you're doing! Thanks Alex! ☺
thanks a lot, even as a rookie I understand that this kind of concept is more important than the tricks themselves. It helps you to improve your performance in a more efficient way.
If I do use a pass its always the classic pass, at least ever since I learned it. I used to always just use the double undercut. But Fanx to Alex and the rest of the guys I watch I've been able to add variety and character to my performances.
This is the first pass tutorial I've seen that addresses posture. Game changer for me. Also reminds me of piano lessons in my younger years - surprisingly similar! Thank you so much for these awesome tutorials.
I was wondering why my magician friend was sitting alone on his couch with his shoulders back, arms out, smiling, looking around the room. Then I saw this video. 🤓
This is probably the most I've got out of a lesson of this kind, it's too easy to forget the mechanics of a move are only half the story. A great analysis extremely well explained
Herrman's my fave..easier to perform 4 me (just turn da deck over for cover), leaves da selection ready to manipulate, and unlike wth da classic pass, which sometimes takes extra card when doin da move, this one is smoother for me. I like your content, especially the theory part like this
Awesome tutorial I always learn so much from you!! Your information is so amazing and useful thanks!! My favorite pass is the Turn over Pass probably!!
I Must say as a beginner having watched a lot of videos this tutorial is the BEST IV seen explains EXACTLY What a beginner needs to see, have u a tutorial like that but on the actual pass?
My favourite ones are hermann pass and turnover pass. But lately I've been training the classic pass so I can use it. Imo the hermann/turnover works better when the part bellow the break have less cards than the part above it, while the classic works better when the part above the break have less cards than the part bellow it. So I'm training the classic pass to cover both scenarios.
I like the Classic pass, Herman pass(which is like a reverse classic pass) and sometimes the Turnover pass. Just depends on what I'm doing and if I'm getting burned. Thank you for the tips Alex. Have a great weekend.
This is such an essential lesson. I wish you had put this up a year ago! Favorite pass is the Mahatma pass. It just looks like you're doing an overhand shuffle, it's beautiful
Love the Dingle cameo at the end lol. This was a bad representation though, of his card handling prowess. Some of the stuff he did was goofy, but dude was an absolute beast
okay so you separate the cards with a pinky break with angles the cards down at the front and up at the back. this means its angled, but whenever you do it the top packet is perfectly flat. which finger do you use to prop up the other side?
Best pass? Invisible turnover pass for me (for now) as it's so natural and such a good way to set up for an ACR routine or anything as (for example they name any card and you spread to show it in the middle) it sets up the trick before the spectator even suspects any funny business
I have seen some videos about card tricks. I really like that you not only learn us a trick but teach how to do it perfect. Wat passes should a beginner start with? If I want a really good deck should I not by it in Belgium 🇧🇪 from cartamundi?
I love performing the classic pass, but I usually use the spread pass because I am more comfortable with it 😂. Thanks for the content man 👍 BTW - already signed up to alexpandrea.com for a few weeks now - can't wait 🔥🔥🔥
i think the best pass is "Best pass" by TheRussianGenius. It is hard but very invisible and clean. (sorry for my bad English im from Poland) Very good video btw.
Figured I should mention the underrepresented Herrmann pass. It's my favorite because I feel I can keep it covered and quiet better, even though it tends to be slower to complete.
Great points here Alex. Keeping everything tight and cluttered are problems doing this and I agree, body language should misdirect. While classic pass is my favorite, I do like modified herman.
Nice lesson, thanks. There seems to be some issue with the box to subscribe to the mailing list. I have tried Chrome and Firefox and in both of them I cannot interact with the box.
Nice , I've stumbled onto a similar handling. For example . Card is placed in deck , break held . Then I ask the spectator to examine an elastic band , then control the card while they are examining the elastic. wrap the cards in an elastic band slowly and purposely, making it a big deal. Then I ask the name of the card , peel back the corner of the top card still wrapped in the elastic .... and BOOM there it is on top of the deck. A fucking miracle.

Great detailled tips. Especially the bodylanguage is the one of the most important things we magicians never learn at home.

My favourite Pass is the Classic Pass and The Turn over Pass. I know, they are really Standard, but also very strong!
Yeh sometimes the standard moves work the best when performing allowing you to focus more on the presentation aspect
Seriously sick tutorial
Love the Dingle cameo at the end lol. This was a bad representation though, of his card handling prowess. Some of the stuff he did was goofy, but dude was an absolute beast
You are the best Alex 💞
thanks man i appreciate that! 🔥
I prefer the spread pass. I feel the most comfortable with it and it feels natural to me to do.
Been waiting for this tutorial for a long time 😂😂😆
Alex Pandrea and Xavior Spades probably perform the best classic passes!!!!
My favourite is herman pass with dribble cover. Its soo underrated I've never got caught doing it and Its pretty easy as well
I love the effort you put in your videos!!!
Love you pandrea.. Love from India 🇮🇳
