Thank you so much! 🙏🙏 And thanks for the feedback. I had to hunch over to reach beyond the tripod and had the camera right in my face lol 😅 But it seemed like a better angle to convey how it actually works 🙂
I love this move so much but have been hesitant to use it due to the angles. This helped so much! You are incredibly gifted with subtly in your sleights! Keep up the amazing work!!!
Thank you so much, I appreciate it! 🙏😊 Yeah, its definitely intimidating at first, but once you've done it in performance a few times you'll have a lot more confidence. The key in the beginning is using misdirection 👍 And if you notice them burning your hands, simple do same other control, like a double undercut etc 🙂
Awesome I do gambling routines and I always did the Hermann pass and I wanted to learn the classic pass (I already was able to do it but I wasn’t happy with it) and the recommendation to place the first finger underneath was making it so much more deceptive thank u
What an excellent tutorial my friend. The pass is new to me but with your sxplinations and tutorial it has given me the confidence to practice and put this sleight in my repoitoire. Thank you so much for your time and excellent explinatuons and insight
Thank you so much my friend! I always appreciate your comments 🙏😊 I'm so glad you're finding it helpful and will start practicing it. I know it can be hard and frustrating, but it can really take your magic to the next level. If you give it the time it deserves, I'm certain you'll be able to learn it and start using it in your performances in the coming months 👍😀
An absolutely amazing tutorial. Everything was explained perfectly! Even tho the video was great, i still have a question for the technic. Every time i practice the move, my middle finger and my ring finger on the right hand, only pull(some times) the top card, and not the full packet... What would you recommend me so i can solve this problem?
Hi! Thank you so much! 🙏😊 Do you use the right thand to drag the top packet underneath? That would be the opposite to what I'm doing but that's okay if it feels better to you. Make sure to only use your "upper" hand to hold the lower packet, and make sure to hold everything loosely enough to let the top packet slide to the side easily. Also, I prefer a deep break, I really stick my pinky in far (this is a matter of preference, but it might help). Also, relax your hands, it easier said than done, but consciously practice doing that. Lastly, experiment, experiment, experiment. Does this help at all? Otherwise, send me a video on Instagram of what's happening and I'll try to give you some pointers tomorrow 🙂
Very good channel and teaching 👍🏼👍🏼 Many People keep commenting on getting caught, or being afraid. I agree with you the most important element is , quiet, no tension, and confidence. I Also suggest they learn other passes. The cover pass, the Herman pass, and the turnover pass are burnable. I prefer the Herman pass, it adapts to a more natural movement
Thanks a lot! 😊🙏 Yeah those are the most important factors, I agree! And yes, learning more passes is definitely recommended, the more tools you get the better in my opinion. The classic pass will probably always be my favourite, but I'm a big fan of the turnover and spread pass as well! 👍
Thanks a lot man, I appreciate that more than you know! 😊😊🙏🙏 It's not an easy move, but I know you'll get there eventually if you want to, and don't give up on it! 👍😊
This is the hardest move in the world to do invisible, but you my friend are doing it invisible!! It's like the Zarrow shuffle, once you know it you will always see it. For me personally I never had the need to learn the technique. I guess today is used more for magic than gambling.
Man, you're far to kind 🙏😊 Maybe under the right conditions and the right angle, but I appreciate you saying that a lot my friend! Yeah, I definitely see it more as a magic move than a gambling move nowadays. As I said, I don't do it when sitting down, as you usually do in a gambling performance, and it's not essential. You're obviously doing more than fine without it 😄 Thanks again for the lovely comment, you're the man! 😀🙏
Lots of videos show only the technic, but you show the possibles mistakes (that we all make as noobs). I'm trying by myself but without a master beside me... how to improve? Thanks for unlocking my mistakes.
Thanks for that lovely comment 🙏🙏 Yeah, I know it can be hard when you don't have a mentor, so I'm glad you found the video helpful to improve your pass 😊👍
That's a very detailed tutorial 💯 I've watched loads of tutorials on RUclips for this particular move, and most tutorials are similar, from Alex Pandrea/ TheRussianGenius/ 52Kards to smaller channels. And I like your tutorial because of how you structured it and also including factors like misdirection, angle, and so on. I think these are truly the most important detail that we magicians has to consider when executing it. But still I have some questions that I wanna ask you about. I've practiced the pass over and over again, for lots of time, and done it in front of a mirror hundreds of times, but I still don't have confidents using it to control a card in a real performance. I found myself always hesitate if I should do it or not when my spectators are misdirected, because I am not quite sure if they are going to see it... I hope you can give some suggestions to me. Thanks for reading it. The tutorial is excellent, I love it 😘 Keep up the great work.
Hey man! Thank you so much for your lovely comment and support, I really appreciate it! 😊🙏 As for your question, I'm not sure I have a very good answer, but I'll just tell you from my personal experience. It's super scary in the beginning, but once you've pulled it off even once, you'll feel a lot more confident, and when you've done it 10, 20, 50, 100 times you'll be super confident. But still, the biggest shift in your confidence will be when you go from 0 to 1. So start off in a situation where not too much is at stake, some friend you're comfortable with for example, where it doesn't matter too much if you mess up. And if you realise that the spectator is burning your hands or you can't control their attention with misdirection, simply do another control. I'm sure you have a perfectly fine pass, but with all these kinds of moves (the pass, top change, classic force etc.) it's the mental block we need to overcome. So as I said, once you've done it in a real performance just once, it will start to feel easier! And the more you do it, the easier it gets 😊 I hope that helps a little at least 👍
I should also say that I think it's good that you're checking different sources, because you always pick up something new from different people 👍 Personally, I love Jason England's teaching, he has a download on the classic pass on Theory 11 🙂
Yeah, I sometimes get that scraping sound as well, but it goes away more and more with practice. It can also blend in with the sound from the cover, like the riffle or dribble sound 👍🙂
The demonstration at the start was amazing and the camera angle for the tutorial worked really well 👍

Impossible for me :_( ... we'll see.
I know it can be very hard when you're just starting to practice it, but with enough practice and perseverance I'm sure you can do it 😀👊
I hope.
