Spoiler alert, Meatwad was a wad of meat the whole time.
Outrageous
Prove it
@@sinkuskidd no *YOU* prove it dude
P.S. I just realized how apt your comment was, considering the OG commenter’s username…hahaha. Not sure if you realized that or not and/or if it was just a random reply or if it was precisely the obvious exact reason you wrote the “prove it” response in the first place… 🧐🤔⁉️
😮💨🥸🤷♂️😵💫🫠😅😂
@@ezramotz1995 how you gonna tell me to prove it? I never claimed meatwad was a wad of meat.
(Totally unintentional but don’t tell everyone else reading the comments that) Did that shit on purpose dog! 😂

Good to see you guys back, even though it’s been 8 days I’ve missed ya. Keep up the great work boys
Michael Keaton was playing the same Bruce as his older movies. His Bruce Wayne was always a little loopy(it’s a Tim Burton project ofc) so he kinda just picked up where he left off. His Bruce Wayne wasn’t as stoic as we know the character to be in present day but it still holds a level of gravitas when he comes on screen.
Tim Burton and The Joel movies aren’t in the same universe. The only common thread is their commissioner Gordon but you could use the same J Jonah Jameson excuse on how he’s the same actor in each different universe for Spider-Man
Their Alfred was the same too I believe
I saw this movie and I liked it. Wasn’t great but was fun. Unfortunately I do think Ezra miller really marred the movie with his allegations. For anyone who hasn’t read the allegations and horrible stuff that isn’t just allegations, I suggest you read it. Just a warning it truly is deplorable stuff. Miller seems to be psychotic and an actual danger to society that should never be in another film
Interesting thought with The Little Mermaid remake is even if it underperforms that doesn't factor in merchandise sales, park sale increases, etc. As long as they get the right audience in they can make a lot of money with a bad box office.
The only question I’ve ever wondered with this flash is “can his electricity hit people as he runs” mostly the blue lightning because when he runs I always see it hit things and cause a spark. So can it hit people? And does it hurt?
Love your channel!!! Only knew you from GOT reviews but yall are mad talented
it is pretty good movie.
I have never been more disappointed in this channel then when I heard Aaron be dismissive of Aqua Teen
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it tbh, went in with low expectations and came out really happy with it.
That’s why you enjoyed it, because your expectations were so low
@badgasaurus4211 I mean I went in hearing "This is the greatest superhero movie of all time" but I was skeptical. Idk why I said low expectations it was more just skepticism, even the headlines I read prior were saying it was good enough to stand on it's own without course correction.
@@badgasaurus4211I went in with low expectations & still left disappointed
@@GodHatesXboxi went in thinking they were going to butcher Flashpoint and I ended up enjoying this adaptation without reverse flash. Didn’t like MOS and BVS either. It’s a divisive movie for sure but I was able to enjoy the majority of Flash.
I'm less than 15 minutes in and a lot of the criticisms I've heard about this movie are criticisms that I was shunned for having about Spider-Man: No Way Home
GOOD SOUP
I think the director did a great job %90 of the jokes landed for me. 3th act it really went downhill but the reason was probably the studio interference. Also deepfake faces were horrible towards the end.
Kinda had a raimi spiderman feeling to it which I really liked
This movie was painful to sit through. I went for Keaton and by the time he showed up, I was checked out. Having to sit through another terrible DCEU movie, starring a version of the Flash I hate, from two movies that were already dogshit (BVS and Justice League), to get 20 minutes of Keaton was not worth it. I should have stayed home like everyone apparently did.
Movie is really a 6 out of 10 but I can't help but give it an 7. I enjoyed my time with the movie. Sure, There's plot hole, sure the CGI does look bad in spots, but I had fun throughout the movie. Pacing was good, characters where good, I enjoyed the music, it mostly was funny, story worked well. The emotional scenes with his mom really worked good.
Sure I have complaints but overall I was entertain and had fun. Sure the baby scene was silly but I'm OK with silliness and it didn't bother me. Also. A lot of of the movie was spoiled expect that ending cameo. I did not see that coming and it had me laughing. I could see myself watching this movie again.
Lastly. I really enjoyed Super Girl. Wish she was giving more time and story.
Oh hey I was just checking to see if the Flash review was up yet and here it is posted one hour ago, how convenient.
your closest Perkins is Newburgh and it's not worth the drive
To misquote Gandalf, "The content of your channel is somewhat lessened of late."
Hmmm. I really liked the movie. I mean, it's reliance on past media is typical...so many other properties do this now. I don't know, feels like I watched a different movie from the boys.
I heard one take where a person said they didn't care to see the little mermaid because these remakes are supposed to be nostalgia bait but then they change the way the way the only memorable characters look, so it doesn't trigger the nostalgia
@Nerd Soup You guy’s planning on covering The Bear (Hulu) Season 2 dropped today. I’m starting my binge.
The Bear season 1 and 2 reviews?
That'll take a slot
Guys, PLEASE get back to your GOT Revisited series!
Aaron not like ATHF is such a disappointment
Bale actually was offered to appear and said no lmao he wanted no parts
ATHF is GREAT.
I find the idea of live action anime adaptations silly. They are not even adaptations-the anime was the adaptation-these are remakes. It’s the exact same concept as all these terrible live action Disney remakes, except worse because these anime are likely far more recent, sometimes (as with One Piece) still ongoing lol. Throw in the fact that these live action films and series have an almost 100% failure rate when compared to the anime, and it makes the idea even more confusing.
Instead of trying and failing to remake an anime, I would like to see a major studio try adapting a manga or manwha that does not yet have a show. It could be easier than adapting a book since the story is basically already storyboarded out in panels, and there wouldn’t already be this other, superior adaptation out in the world for fans to inevitably and unfavorably compare it to.
Flash Soup!
Dont u guys watch Silo?
I enjoyed The Flash more than most I gave it around a 6.5 or a 7. I'll say this about the CGI it was definitely shitty in certain parts but overall it was average CGI for the 20's and I definitely don't believe the director about the CGI being weird because it's from the flash's perspective great excuse though. Also the Schumacher movies were retconned to be it's own universe years ago so Clooney's Batman isn't the same Batman as Keaton but then again he's only in this film because Bale turned it down, however they should've just gotten Pattinson or even Chris O'Donnell do that shit and have some dumbass line where he whispers in his ear "It's me Barry Dick Grayson...Batman"
I liked the Flash movie even though Ezra Miller is not my cup of tea as Barry Allen(his chemistry with Iris was non existent), the CGI was meh, and there was a huge plot hole (who killed his Mom). It’s shame it looks like a big flop because word is if it was successful we were getting a Batman Beyond movie with Keaton ‘s Batman.
I'm the only person in the world that kind of liked it. 🤷♂
The Flash was amazing! Hopefully it picks up steam in the second week. I'll definitely watch again this weekend.
You’re not. I enjoyed it.
@@WriterusAeternus I went in thinking I wouldn't like it, but honestly I found myself kinda liking it. I thought it was better than a lot of superhero movies actually.
@@robweissman5952 Yeah you just have to roll with it. Some ppl have gotten so cynical about these kinds of movies.
Beau is Frylock
Aaron is Meatwad
Nash is Mastershake
Ted is Carl
I demand you guys do a watch and review of that series it's hilarious.
It did look that bad… during those time travel sequences… it looked like an average PS3 cutscene…
I really hope Gunn gets the Flash right with his DC Universe.
He doesn’t have any plans to. At least for the first 10 years.
Zero chance he does. Hell get fired before probably
I actually really enjoyed it. I think you guys are going way too hard on it because after waiting so long people want a 10/10. I didn't think the dialogue was bad or anything like that, and the story was fine. Sure, not everything makes sense ( the whole thing with whatever that old evil Barry was, I thought it was one of those speedforce demons or whatever at first).
It was fun 🤷🏾
Who cares if Nick Cage was shown as superman lol, it was a few seconds just for the memes. It doesn't affect the movie at all, so why criticize it.
Hate to say it, but a lot of the criticisms in this vid are things that happen in the MCU too, but somehow those get a pass I guess.
Not liking ATHF is a sin lol
Not the best summer of movies...
Couldn't disagree more with your points, but I respect your opinions regardless. The humor hit more than it missed, and the amount of heart in the story was surprising.
We’re going to look back years from and want to kill ourselves for ever liking this “multiverse concept” in cinema 🤦♂️
Lool it has a lot of great moments but a good amount of bad moments sadly.
Why go see the movie with the whole story was already in the trailer. The cameos didn’t make any sense to the casual viewer. No 15-year-old kid knows who the hell Christopher Reeve , Adam West or Michael Keaton is.
There's definitely not going to be a sequel. The Flash was an overhyped comic book film. Best comic book movie ever? No.
I feel like you guys might have went into this movie not wanting to give it a chance because the DC cinematic universe is a mess that's about to be rebooted. Yea the cgi was bad but everything else was pure fun. It had some humor, good action, some big emotion with Barry realizing he had to let his mother die. It's a way better plot than no way homes "dr strange and I didn't brainstorm the spell so now the whole movie happens"
You guys would've enjoyed the movie more if you gave it a proper chance.
That's a disingenuous way to dismiss people's legit takes. I liked the movie but every criticism they made is completely legit.
this movie is a freaking mess but every single cameo was worth the wait.
Nice joke
Bring back the old soup. This pod is turning into starburys career. And you guys are now playing for the knicks in year 3
I wish the superhero movies to be ovet now please
I went in with low expectations and I thought the movie was so bland. I didn’t care for Tim Burton Batman so I wasn’t excited for Keaton. I just could not handled how annoying the Flash was and it wasn’t even in an endearing way.
Dude y’all hit it so on the head for me. I couldn’t put my finger on all of the things wrong with the movie. I just know I did NOT enjoy the movie & it was not a good one. Y’all are the first reviewers that I feel like have an honest review. Everyone else is pretending it was a good movie & it just wasn’t 😭 Ezra aside
I feel you forgot to mention the actual reaspn Lightyear, Remade Little Mermaid, Elementals, Strange World failed and lost money: They Objectively Sucked. Compare to the Real Little Mermaid, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Up, etc. You don’t have to be friggin’ Truman Capote to tell creative suck when you see it. And this is even without bringing up the Bud Light Woke factor. 😂. Also Berry: great singer but not great actor. They totally messed up the story, and most important, the picture and creatures were all murky and boring. Ugh.
Aaron’s woke card is revoked for Ezra he
Can't finish this podcast. I loved The Flash and your criticisms make no sense
I'm genuinely disgusted by this review. Almost everything you guys said, I outright disagree. It's 88% for me, just as Rotten Pomato's audience score.
