    Terrific explanation and demonstration on how to remove the burr and not damage the thinner teeth of the 44/20. Barbers that still have these shears from back in the 90's still love them. I used to sell them back then and like you said are not smooth like the Japanese shears but still were super popular. They were priced right and just did a great job!

    Bonnie, Thank you again. I learn something new and valuable every time I watch your videos. The latest tip I got from this on is the idea of using floss for cleaning between the teeth, along with a brush. I usually carry a small floss plastic thing in my pocket. I have a whole bag of them in the vehicle. I'll give this a try tomorrow since a stylist specifically asked me to work on her thinning shears.

      I was using this from day one when I was incorrectly taught NOT to take shears apart and to use this for cleaning under the screw.

    It's to sli😮de under the hair then close the shear and pull.
