I dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my login password. I love any help you can give me
@Dangelo Elliot thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Nice tram , we have the same in france "Alstom citadis " . But this one is more modern with stations closed by doors and electric rail power supply ! In my city we have pantograph power supply and no doors in the stations.
Meh, this tram is so slow it shouldn't even be bothering, I mean what is the point, you could run faster, its brand new, they could of made sure it actually ran properly and fast, like their metro.
Japan Train Viewing Yes it is a 42 meter 7 section Alstom Citadis tram with ground level third rail power supply called APS as used in many French cities.
Allow me to say one big truth, new system, perfect rails, perfect trams but extremely slow system! It is completely segregated but the speed limit is 50 km/h which is attained only on several points. Mostly it runs only 30-40 km/h. While for example in Europe even in worth track conditions trams run a lot faster and on non even segregated tracks! Shame on Dubai new tram system which is quite slow boring and useless. Complete loss of potential which should have a modern tram system. They run very slow on switches and joints, why? this track parts are adopted for higher speeds, no need to slow down so much. Well Dubai headquarters, go in Europe see how trams run fast.
+siachoquero Completely agree with you. On the Dubai Metro, the trains operate quite slowly when it comes to points/crossovers. Not necessary at all - look at the London Underground!
Nope LOLLL :D. Take a look at the big citadis in the small city of Tours, France. This tram runs at very low speed... It's a non segragated tram in a completely inadapted city to be equiped with such a transportation mode... We've got so many others examples...
I roded the dubai tram it was cold inside the train. From Al Sofouh to Dubai Marina. It was a nice experience
Xerneas how long was the ride and how much it cost you?
S11 Al Sufouh

Nice video! Unbelievable how slow the tram runs though!
+luerexbob Thanks!
+luerexbob Yes I agree!! much too slow, may be its the starting, in the long run they might increase its speed.

great video!!
thanks!!
This Tram feels a lot safer due to Platform Edge Doors
It's proven that separate tracks is the safer way to build such railway surface lines... Good. Thanks for the map at the beginning of the video ;)
Thanks!

+stephen10 Thanks. Dubai is very hot and muggy place, so they need to built closed stations for cooling.

so its finally out. there was an Alstom video announcing it like 4 years ago
I Love Jumirah Beach Residence2
very nicely done video typically Japanese style of system.
This poster has some great train/tram videos, mainly of Japan, but all are great viewing.
It's French!
Very nice ride!
***** Thanks!

Nice! Is this train a double decker? It looks so tall!
David Halligan This tram is not double decker. Please let you watch my video including interior pictures.
David Halligan It is not a train and it has standard height.
slow motion tram
Agree with previous comments. The slow boat to China would go quicker!! Its almost an embarrassment how slowly it goes.
Is it catenary less tram?
How does the driver make sure, that the platform doors and the ones of the tram are "overlapping"?
Same Way London Underground does it, markers on the platform indicating stopping point for driver.
i thought that was an Alstom tram, like they have in some places in France. So they don't have overhead then, but a kind of third rail arrangement?
AndreiTupolev Sorry, I don't know it. But we can see the third rail.
AndreiTupolev Yes it is a 42 meter 7 section Alstom Citadis tram with ground level third rail power supply called APS as used in many French cities.
Japan Train Viewing Yes it is a 42 meter 7 section Alstom Citadis tram with ground level third rail power supply called APS as used in many French cities.
Yes, it has a special third rail that is divided into short sections. The sections receive power only when the train is above.
Bordeaux and Reims, in France, both have the same Alstom trams with catenary, as well as sections with APS.

siachoquero Dubai Metro was opened November 2014, it is so young than adult European Trams...
WHat has DUbai Metro has to do here? we talk about trams.

i think that is because of the meaning of it , like maybe sightseeing? there must be a reason, anyway good video :)
