- Cassam Looch from HeyUGuys interviews the brand new Netflix Daredevil, Charlie Cox who before this was best known for his part in Boardwalk Empire.
We find out about his character in the TV show, how the format works compared to a movie and what he thought of Ben Affleck's Daredevil. He also talks about his involvement in future Marvel Movies and whether we'll see him in Civil War.

The Neflix DareDevil series is in the MCU, so Charlie Cox would appear on the big screen as DareDevil if he was ever needed.
Andrew Panetta I don't think Marvel would put Daredevil in the mcu if they weren't planning on him being in a film. It may seem doubtful, but Marvel is always building up to something.

I saw him in Stardust back when it was released so I knew he was English before he was cast as Daredevil. He does do a fantastic job of disguising his accent though
Dan Lane Andrew Lincolns accent is pretty amazing. I have a lot of family from Georgia that watch the show and they had no idea he wasn't from the South.
shante jackson Probably because he's such a talented actor... Hugh Laurie is the same (and recently Benedict Cumberbatch pulled off a very convincing American accent).
Kyle Magaro Tom Payne (Jesus) and Lonnie James (Morgan) also put on really good American accents.

charlie cox was brilliant as matt murdock, his subtlety and his mannerism he embodied that. he did his fight sequences exceptionally. he is so down to earth and very approachable.
he was very nice when he talked about affleck's daredevil and i find it refreshing from him to say all those nice things about ben affleck himself, i really like the director's cut of that movie.
cant wait to see season 2 and i would like to see him in the MCU
BatmanFANizationReborn Ben Affleck was a pretty great Matt Murdock. Less so Daredevil in my opinion. He could have been great if he had great writing, but I haven't seen the director's cut, so maybe he has some very well written scenes as Daredevil in the DC, and he gets to show some strong acting.
***** the directors cut is a very different movie, much better. Still not near this show but a good movie.
+Bryan Dowling he gets a Church scene in the Director's Cut that's some of the best acting I've seen in ANY superhero flick. Really showed the mental and psychological toll that being Daredevil took on him.
but now i think charlie is better as daredevil, and ben affleck is better as batman

It still breaks my heart that they cancelled Daredevil Charlie we miss you, Daredevil was always my favorite hero growing up, and the Netflix series is phenomenal and will always be the best Superhero Tv show ever made

Daredevil Season 2 YEAH!!
Rene Palencia Jon Bernthal as the Punisher is one of the most perfect Superhero casting decisions in a while, on par with RDJ as Iron Man and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Daredevil Season 2 is going to be the single greatest superhero television series of all-time. I personally compare DD Season 1 to Batman Begins, and I believe Season 2 will be Marvel's Dark Knight equivalent. Just wait and see.

+Mathilde Schinz Charlie tends to speak faster so he trips over his words whereas Tom uses a slower pace. Either way, both are very talented actors who got a leg up thanks to Marvel. I hope Charlie gets more diverse roles in future.

He honestly plays the role so well i doubt i'll be able to fully enjoy the show if someone was to take over it (which is extremely unlikely) Sad that s4 was cancelled a while back.. seriously miss charlie cox's daredevil.

I really like the natural way that guy is talking, all the "uhm" and "eh" are amazing :) he nailed it as darevevil he has true talent ^_^
It's interesting that he says when he signed up for the role, Marvel put in a clause to possibly add him in to the movies, but that doesn't guarantee that he's going to appear, only if they want or need him to. I certainly hope he does make it because he was absolutely phenomenal in the role, he crushed it! But the tone of the show is way darker and violent than the movies, which makes me think he may not make it sadly.
