Regardless of who your favorite was at portraying the character i do genuinely feel like Andrew was the biggest spider-man fan boy geek in his youth and it shows. I love all of this for him, hes such a wholesome dude.
He is absolutely charming to the nth degree. And the way his film series ended, truly felt the most painful--he really needed the closure. I am still in awe that they wove them all together seamlessly. Just great filmmaking, period. 🎥 🎞
The reaction in the theater when the first other spider-man showed up was pretty special. But the reaction when the second one came in, and everyone realized "OMG this is really happening!" Well, you could barely hear anything other than cheering. It was one of the only times I've been in a crowd, and felt just how much people cared. Watching the scenes in the movie alone just doesn't give you that same feeling. This was by far the most heart-felt reaction I've experienced in a theater, and it didn't come from the movie. It came from the love everyone in the audience expressed together, sharing the experience.
@@tattycakes2k2 Dunno man. In my showing, Andrew got a fuck tonne of love. In the UK people are usually pretty reserved in cinemas. But Andrew showing up was like a fucking rock concert. Then Tobey came in and it was so heart warming and people loved it. Both got so many cheers and claps, it was insane. Best cinema experience I've ever had. It was so vindicating being an Andrew fan since day one, seeing the amount of love he got just in that one screening was amazing.
Andrew Garfield describing the movie and how he watched it together Tobey Mcguire just shows how much he enjoyed his participation in it especially since he and Tobey sneaked in to a theater and saw the reaction that people got when they both finally appeared on the screen. Good to finally see Tobey in an Interview about the movie.
I love the fact how they praise each other genuinely and that the rapport that they've built wasn't just for the movie but also out of mutual respect and admiration for each other.
I think it needs to be said Andrew's Spider-Man had his chance and was able to redeem his Spider-Man. The fact he saved Tom's MJ is so incredible and healing. Seeing everything play out in the ending was amazing to say the least.
Spiderman was the first marvel movie I watched and he was like the first superhero I've ever known. Tobey's the best spiderman and all of these are my favorite spidermen even Drake Bell.
@@lalachristy5581 same, but the first superhero I knew was Batman, cause as a kid I watched Batman the Animated Series all the time, watched both Michael Keaton Batman movies on TV, and then on theater I watched Batman Forever (1995) and Batman & Robin (1997). So Batman is my #1 fav superhero followed by Spider-Man
When Andrew's spiderman caught MJ, it tore me apart seeing his face after. Like he almost felt he made up for not being able to catch Gwen in time but still heart-broken that he didn't and probably could if he got given he got a second chance at it. 😏
It wasn't that he was too late. It was that he didn't have the time to realize catching her at that speed would cause a jerk that would snap her neck. The Goblin dropped her, but the snap of the web killed her and he knew it. And it destroyed him.
I imagine he revisited that scene in his head over and over again, trying to figure out how he could have saved her. Eventually he figured it out carrying this knowledge around while know ing it was so late. So it took him less than a second when he saw MJ fall and could finally let go.
This is perfect. The interviewer is a solid A. Came up with those core questions and we got to hear Tobey’s thoughts on this movie. Everyone got equal time to express themselves this was a joy to watch I really enjoyed this interview and movie!
He really was! I kept telling my sister they'd be in it, but there was always a lingering seed of doubt.... I nearly freaked when Andrew showed up on screen.
Very well put from Garfield in his opening comment. I just teared up thinking about him saving Tom's MJ (I lost it both viewings during that scene, so powerful), and being reminded of Toby's "guardian angel" moment to swerve Tom's Peter from a darker future were both such important moments.
The interviewer is magnificent. Especially handling the caliber of having three stars like this. Asked great questions, didn’t interrupt. World class segment right here.
I love how Andrew articulates Tom’s Peter Parker journey/story. It was emotional for them and for the audience… at least it was for me. The meeting of the Spider-Men will go down as an epic moment in superhero films.
I think this movie came out at the right time for a lot of people. I have to say personally this movie moved me more than any movies has. I was going through a rough patch in my life and to see my heros share that same feeling and express those same emotions as I had just made me tear up so much even watching it for a second time. Phenomenal!
I appreciate the way the interviewer rotated questions through Tom, Tobey, & Andrew equally & individually. The transitions were smooth & seamless. (*>_
Tom is so sweet, the fact that he needed his friends around because of the nerves of meeting the other Spider-Man is so human of him. You can easily tell that he is the smallest of the three. I hoped to see more Spider-Man from Tom, he deserves his Spider-Man to have the redemption and growth he deserves. That ending was opened up to make Spider-Man 4.
I’m still on cloud nine about this whole thing. Didn’t think that Tobey spidey and Andrew ever happen. And then for both to come back in the same movie, is just beyond what I ever imagine. I am so happy!
I absolutely love Andrew Garfield In this last Spider-Man he stole every scene he was in. He was absolutely incredible. Honestly he was always my favorite Spider-Man though.
The way they are all so passionate about what they did and the stories they gave conclusion to are what made this movie really one of the best of all time. Thanks boys for what you did for all of us
Andrew is such an incredible treasure 🥲 considering how much trouble the series put him through, I’m really glad he got to come back and get the respect he deserves.
The professionalism radiating off of Tobey while he’s just chilling there in silence is striking. He, quite reasonably so, gives off that veteran vibe like he’s been in the game for awhile and is like, “yeah, I’m the og, it’s whatever 🤷♂️”
This movie means the world to me, it will forever have an impact on my heart because of how special it is, having seeing Tobey, Andrew and Tom, all together, on one screen, in which I grew up with all of them, (and I know many others did as well 🖤)it was like a dream come true. Like I’m still not over it, like I can’t even put it into words of how amazing and special the experience was of seeing this movie for the first time.
Pete Hammond did a masterful job moderating this interview panel. I just have to put that out there, this is as difficult as it is exciting to pull off and it takes a real professional to handle a gig like this. As for Tom, Andrew and Tobey, the obvious is not necessary to state. What I will say about them is that they are part of a special fraternity of people who have (as stated in the interview) had a huge part in resurrecting the theater experience, as well as effecting every-day people in the best possible way in these trying times. They pulled off something that will be looked at and enjoyed and celebrated for many many years to come. Congratulations to all of them! This makes my soul happy!
One of the best decisions any filmmaker could have made, once in a lifetime opportunity for 3/4 generations put together who live Spider-Man and each of these lead actors! Imagine in what other movies we could have actually done this .. thankful to the makers of this movie to have made this happen 🙏🏽
it'd be interesting to see a bale, affleck, and pattinson multiverse crossover movie. The snyder cut set up the multiverse possibilities pretty well, which will probably be fully explained in the Flash solo film
When Tobey appeared in the movie.....words couldn't describe how I felt...watched Tobey in the earlier Spiderman movies, and they were so good. It just conjured up memories and feelings of the early 2000s 🥲 of Tobey's youth and how great he was in the movie...and just how young we all were 20 years ago. Now he appears in this movie with all the Spidermans together, was just very emotional.
The most replayed moments in this video are where Andrew talks and I am so happy about this, people are getting to appreciate him and his spiderman, he deserves a 3rd movie so bad.
Andrew finished great! Way to finish his trilogy (I know its not his own actual trilogy, but in a sense , I am convinced that it is) explosively. The movie was tear jerking on both heart breaking and surprising scenes. Absolutely brilliant!
While I was watching the movie, when Tobey and Andrew showed up the whole theatre room was cheering, it was amazing to experience. Just being in that same room with a bunch of people who were probably freaking out from excitement in their heads really made me feel happy 😊
Idk if it’s because I’m pregnant, but when Andrew started talking I started crying because he explained it so beautiful. This movie means so much to me and it was so amazingly executed
I went to see the movie with my stepmom. I will never forget the experience. When Tobey showed up, she just grabbed and squeezed my hand. He was her Spider-Man and also mine so just seeing him again meant a lot to both of us. She was shocked and scared when he had gotten stabbed by the Goblin. I never really thought much of Andrew’s Spider-Man but I appreciate him so much more and adore him. This movie is definitely my favorite Spider-Man movie of all time, taking the place of Spider-Man 2.
They are Three different people and yet so similar.. gotta respect and admire the casting.! Just perfect.! They are different SpiderMen but they are all the same Peter(s). They all (Three) look genuine and honest. 👍
Maybe a movie about a group of friends and one of them is "unstable", that friend begins to think they have super powers and the other two have to try and save them from their self?
They could play brothers, it could be really fun. Maybe one of those stories where there are lots of mini plots with minor bits tieing it all together.
That movie is a dream ! The best !!! Thanks Tobey for being part of the Marvel Universe holding the original character in you! Tom the part you have is so emotional that moved all the audience with you! Best performance Andrew how you act so natural contains full of humor !!! Hoping to see the three of you again with Miles Morales!
I loved so much seeing the reaction of them with each others comments and loved hearing what hey had to say and how much love they all have for each other and the character. It’s so freaking heartwarming and wholesome, what a rare happening with such a great movie and great actors being all so meticulously woven together with such delicacy.
I think they will comeback in secret wars but I think Andrew spidey might be teased in venom 3 since at the end of NWH Eddie tells venom they are going to NY to go "meet this spiderman" which means they maybe don't know who he is so ot sets up perfectly for that spidrman to he Andrew's and finally get his fight with an alien
This experience was just sooooo special, I went thru all the emotions while watching this movie I'm SO grateful we were able to have all of them together!
Me too. It was the first movie I went to during COVID, because I was not going for anything else. It was pure joy and elation when Toby stepped on the scene. I could not believe my eyes.
I don't know, but for some reason I feel better seeing them together here than in no way home, because here the 3 actors come together, and in no way home the 3 spidermans
I really hope they do more movies with Tom, his story is only really just starting. His highschool days are over that's pretty much how the other movies started. It would be nice to see him play a solo Spider-man in the movies as well. In the first movie he had the suit AI to work with, then he had friend's that helped him. He has no one left now and it's his time to shine as Spider-Man, so here's hoping they make more movies with him.
This is an excellent interview, thank you so much for making this happen!! Your questions were great and you gave everyone the space and time to express themselves fully, which made it an even more special interview. It was so insightful and entertaining to hear from them all about their experiences with this movie and as these characters, and you could just feel the appreciation and love they have for each other - so great!
When Andrew appeared it was cool and fun and exciting. When Tobey appeared it was like seeing a loved one come back from the dead.
I love how whenever Andrew speaks Tobey just starts smiling
Tobey to Tom: “I’m gonna put some dirt in your eye.”
@Bill Clay 😐
@Bill Clay what the fuck
@Bill Clay periodt bestie
Plus Tobey's got a beautiful smile ❤️
You can tell Tobey doesn't do many interviews and Andrew does a lot. Hahaha
He did so much press this year, mentioned it too! Well practiced for sure.
I love Tobey Maguire, he's my Spider-Man from my childhood
Spiderman was the first marvel movie I watched and he was like the first superhero I've ever known. Tobey's the best spiderman and all of these are my favorite spidermen even Drake Bell.
Tobey’s version of Spider-Man will and forever be my childhood Spider-Man.
Me2 he’ll always be my number 1 the hottest the funniest the best actor
I cried during that scene 😭
I imagine he revisited that scene in his head over and over again, trying to figure out how he could have saved her. Eventually he figured it out carrying this knowledge around while know ing it was so late. So it took him less than a second when he saw MJ fall and could finally let go.
This is perfect. The interviewer is a solid A. Came up with those core questions and we got to hear Tobey’s thoughts on this movie. Everyone got equal time to express themselves this was a joy to watch I really enjoyed this interview and movie!
Andrew is 100% correct about the small tad bit of doubt that they wouldn’t show up and that the leaks really were fake 😂
He really was! I kept telling my sister they'd be in it, but there was always a lingering seed of doubt.... I nearly freaked when Andrew showed up on screen.
I feel like even if they straight up told us they were in it, the audience reaction would have been the same because we'd then have a confirmation
Very well put from Garfield in his opening comment.
I just teared up thinking about him saving Tom's MJ (I lost it both viewings during that scene, so powerful), and being reminded of Toby's "guardian angel" moment to swerve Tom's Peter from a darker future were both such important moments.
At 12:01 onwards Garfeild deserves an Oscar for explaining the plot for why it deserves recognition.

Phenomenal!
🙌
I appreciate the way the interviewer rotated questions through Tom, Tobey, & Andrew equally & individually. The transitions were smooth & seamless. (*>_
Tom is so sweet, the fact that he needed his friends around because of the nerves of meeting the other Spider-Man is so human of him. You can easily tell that he is the smallest of the three. I hoped to see more Spider-Man from Tom, he deserves his Spider-Man to have the redemption and growth he deserves. That ending was opened up to make Spider-Man 4.
i was smiling the whole 30 mins. my heart feels so pure seeing toby smiling with those 2 blokes as well
Get yourself a man who talks about you the way Andrew talks about Tobey.
Deep pull.
No homo.
Andrew Garfield articulates his thoughts so well. It's so attractive
What trouble?
Tobey lives under a rock so it’s even that much sweeter to watch this interview
The professionalism radiating off of Tobey while he’s just chilling there in silence is striking. He, quite reasonably so, gives off that veteran vibe like he’s been in the game for awhile and is like, “yeah, I’m the og, it’s whatever 🤷♂️”
Tom: Praising Tobey
Andrew: Cheering Up

Definitely cried twice during the movie. My mom barely knew who everyone was and cried too. These guys really brought their A game.
The 3 spidermen all coming together and the interviewer absolutely knows what he's doing. Top notch interview
Best reunion since the all-together power rangers episode
@@M_CFV Batman isn’t a character that would work with that concept
When Tobey appeared in the movie.....words couldn't describe how I felt...watched Tobey in the earlier Spiderman movies, and they were so good. It just conjured up memories and feelings of the early 2000s 🥲 of Tobey's youth and how great he was in the movie...and just how young we all were 20 years ago. Now he appears in this movie with all the Spidermans together, was just very emotional.
I like them all, but I really love Tobey's Spider-Man. Looking at him reminds me of my childhood memories. And his smiling face is really nice!
Tobey is my favorite Spider-Man 😍 ❤
Mine too
While I was watching the movie, when Tobey and Andrew showed up the whole theatre room was cheering, it was amazing to experience. Just being in that same room with a bunch of people who were probably freaking out from excitement in their heads really made me feel happy 😊
Idk if it’s because I’m pregnant, but when Andrew started talking I started crying because he explained it so beautiful. This movie means so much to me and it was so amazingly executed
It's not because you're pregnant, I teared up too
Would love to see Andrew in a Venom movie, he already said in No Way Home that he wanted to fight an alien.
When they appear, Toby and Andrew. I literally was shaking in the chair. So powerful scene... Thanks Marvel.
Ahh so Andrew came up with the finger pointing, one of the best parts especially when you see the comic animation side by side.
IT'S JUST SO GLAD TO SEE THAT TOBEY IS FINALLY HAPPY AND PROUD AGAIN OF A MOVIE HE'S DONE.
I grew up with Tobey as Spiderman and what hooked me the most would be his smile. Love you Tobey. 😍😍😍
The three should be in another film together as something other than Spider-Man.
That would be awesome!
Maybe a movie about a group of friends and one of them is "unstable", that friend begins to think they have super powers and the other two have to try and save them from their self?
They could play brothers, it could be really fun. Maybe one of those stories where there are lots of mini plots with minor bits tieing it all together.
I agree, they definitely should be in more movies together.
tobey smiled when he heard that fans were happy to see him
"They love me!"
Andrew garfield was an amazing Spiderman..he owned it.
Toby and Tom are great too.
Am delighted they all got to work together..movie magic.
Magic indeed. Why Marvel? ruclips.net/video/9ExCG1GJku4/видео.html
Tobey avoided two times to say that this movie is a closure or some kind of final chapter of his Spiderman. So the hype is real
