Man, its so nice to see Kyle Chin back in a vid like this. He was the one that got me into longboarding, say, two years ago. Funnily enough, only about now can i do stand up slides like he does in his Big Standies vid.
This... this video is what i owe my time to. This is the video that first inspired me to start longboarding. The sense of freedom and fun and speed just consumed me. So i set out, i saved up over time and bought my self a board and started riding it on the day. That day was the 6/July and today marks 1 year of longboarding and every second spent cruising, sliding, bombing is not regretted. Its been a hell of a ride and i've made so many new friends through it and enjoy life a lot more, thanks :D
Rewatching this video...man, nostalgia. This was a different era back when freeride and freestyle coincide. Now longboarding has become split into categories no one really does both anymore. It's just downhill and freestyle/dance.
For everyone who keeps asking, yes, this is a new wheel. Its called the balut (named after a phillipine boiled duck embryos that you eat, hence the name sunny side up). They are pretty rad, an exposed vented core, new euporathane for better slides and more even wear, not to mention they are center set!!! please like this so other people can see.

My whole body is a goose bump while watching this. Great editing and music choice. Adam Colton and STOKEowski are GAWDS. And, the riders aren't too shabby either.
Ethan Cochard is my friends cousin, I couldn't believe it when he told me...That's amazing, me and him just got into longboarding, this video inspired us to go out every single day and skate as long as possible, hopefully one day we can be as good as these guys.
These two are amazing! Their individual styles' are so captivating to watch. I just met Ethan last week and he is one super cool super nice guy!

Man, Cochard is awesome, but if I could skate like anyone it would be Kyle Chin. I think his slides are like poetry, so sharp, crisp, and exact. Plus his Let's Go movie is what got me to buy my first longboard. Chinchilla!
The new baluts are amazing guys!!!! Just bought a tasty 80a orange set and i am very impressed!! My stand up slides are now effortless and they are making my speed checks and powerslides more fun every time I do em!!! A very controlable wheel for all freeriders!!!

Yeah buddy! Stoked on these wheels! We skated San Fran for 4 days and only used 1 set of Baluts each! Im STILL riding this same set haha! Kyle Chin - my personal freeride hero and favorite go kart buddy!

I am stoked about the peacemaker also! But I have a Grease shark and I love it! I put some 82a race forms on and I am nailing standees at 50+ ft. Lots of fun to be had on that board

if you mean 80a orange baluts, yes i just got myself a pair and i have instantly noticed a huge difference in my slide size, mainly in my heelside predrifts and speed checks/powerslides. i highly reccomend!!!

For the Record: I liked the last few loaded videos that came out but my jaw didn't drop. THIS VIDEO on the other hand, is SOOOOOO FLIPPING GOOD. It has a whole new feel and style that is AWESOME!!! Keep it up Loaded!
From what I've heard, they're in the works for a new video showcasing the speedboard as we speak. Once the video goes up, they are set to release the board officially.

@TheAirsoftWeapon I would recommend the loaded tan tien flex 2, the vanguard flex 5 is super flexy and you would most likely get major speed wobbles and eat it. The tan tien has very snappy flex and doesn't get speed wobbles very often, and it makes carving into a slide very easy. And for wheels I would recommend ether ABEC 11 flashbacks, or orangatang 83a baluts, both slide very well, but I prefer the baluts, hope this helps.
