Go Dukes!!! 💜💛👑
The "forward progress" not-fumble at 12:01 in Q3 --- there was no whistle, and no refs had their arm up signaling the end of the play. They simply missed a fumble and made up a "tuck rule" excuse for why they did. Simply no excuse for such terrible officiating; led to a TD a couple plays later.
And there is no explanation whatsoever to justify the blown fumble at Q3 0:33. If that's not clear evidence, then there's no point in replay. Either that ref is flagrantly incompetent or he's cheating.
I'll admit, as a JMU fan, we were in deep trouble before that weather delay. That gave the team time to settle down and also a ton of the Virginia home crowd left and never came back. You can hear it in the crowd noise change afterward. It was a big game for JMU because it was the first time we'd gotten to play Virginia since 1983, they'd ducked us for forty years after JMU pulled a huge upset in 1982 (we'd only been FCS for a couple years) and then UVa got us back in 1983. So it's huge for James Madison to humble the arrogant self-proclaimed "big brother" across the mountains only sixty miles away.
Super game!!!!!!!!!!!
