It's not common for the payment to be finalized at the time of reservation. I apologize, but I'm not sure about the details. When you arrive at the restaurant, could you please show the payment screen and ask the staff?

In Japanese, the name of the shop is Nikuya no Daidokoro. The reservation page is also available in the description box :)

Is it possible to make a reservation for 1 person? The reservation website does not allow me to proceed if I only select one person.

It seems like you can't make a reservation if you're 1 person, so if you go early when it opens, you'll be able to get in without waiting :)

It looks like you have to book for at least two people. Is that correct?

Thank you for your comment. Reservations can be made for two or more people.

Is this the same as Nikuya Yokocho?

I haven't been to Nikuya Yokocho, but in this restaurant, when you order, the staff brings the meat and dishes to your table :)

Dumb question, but do you cook the meat yourself or does a worker do it?

    • @samurai_junjiro
      @samurai_junjiro  7 месяцев назад

You grill the meat yourself. That's how it works at most yakiniku restaurants :)

Yes, you can dine alone. However, since it seems like reservations aren't possible for solo diners, I recommend going early :)

Thank you for sharing and recommending good food in Japan. I’ve watched 2 of your AYCE Wagyu video and I went to both outlet (1 in Kamata and just last week this one in Shibuya)
From your video, I was eager to follow and patronise your recommendation due to the good price and high quality of meats. But to my disappointment, I was hoping to try “yukhoe” in both visits and was told the item is not available in menu or course.
Understand from business point of view where profit is imminent but it’s also unfair to recommend and share something that will deprive your chanel followers and said restaurant customers.

Thank you for going to the place we recommended!
By the way, there used to be many restaurants in Japan that served yukhoe, but after a food poisoning incident a few years ago, most of them stopped serving it. While it's still possible to serve raw beef yukhoe if it undergoes heat treatment, the cost has increased, leading to limited availability mainly in upscale yakiniku restaurants.

Yeah, you can go alone, but it seems like you can’t make a reservation😔

Previously, you could make reservations even without a Japanese phone number, but it seems the reservation process has changed :( If you go right after they open, I think you can get in without a reservation.

Yes, you can go alone, but in that case, it seems you can't make a reservation, so it's better to go early when it opens :)
