The 2025 AMG GT S could be hardcore V8 RWD coupe. In this episode we’ll take a look at we think is in store for the 2025 AMG GT S.
We’ll take a look at we think may be some options as to what this AMG GT S could be made of. We think there are a few V8 options with each being interesting in their own way. We’ll also also take a look at the exterior of this new AMG GT S and see if anything jumps out? We’ll also take a quick peek inside to see if anything might change. Finally, we’ll take guess as to when the AMG GT S might be available and take a shot as pricing them as well.
There’s also a little something extra for the AMG GT. It looks like we were wrong about something and we have an admission to make.
So buckle up, and let’s get into it on MtnRoads!

I think when it comes to emissions, the 4 cylinder helps. The problem comes with the fact that, a 4 cylinder engine in a car the size of a C63, just feels and sounds cheap. But when it's comes to the CLA 45 S or A45 S(Available in some parts of the world, such as South Africa), it makes total sense to put the 4 cylinder in those types of cars.
I think AMG should should give customers various options to choose from. But all '63' cars should and must remain a V8 powered car (or a newly developed N/A V6 or N/A V8 mounted to the P3 hybrid system) .
Going back to the example of various options. This is what I think AMG should do...
    Mercedes-AMG C53 - Turbo Inline 6 P2 Hybrid System with 497HP. AWD!
    Mercedes-AMG C63 - V8 Biturbo with 520HP. RWD only!
    Mercedes-AMG C63 S - V8 Biturbo with 597HP. RWD, optional AWD.
    Mercedes-AMG C63 S E-PERFORMANCE - V8 Biturbo P3 Hybrid system with 690HP. AWD

Appreciate your thoughts! I agree with a lot of what you said and it would be great if MB would do something like that. Thank you for dropping in and commenting!

No, not all MB models need a 4 cylinder. Like the new E class should stick with the 6 cylinder, just have different tunes like the GT55 and GT63. I think that would be better to see across the MB models and yes, I hope this sticks with the V8!

Whatever this GT variant is, it won't wear the GT/S badge as that's already used on the new recently revealed SE Performance.

I think there is chance that it could. Yes, the GT 63 S E Performance was just released, but part of that is the E Performance badge. That designates that there is electrification being used for that model. This version (hopefully) will not have any electric assistance, so the E Performance will be dropped. leaving the AMG GT S to fill the gap between the GT 63 and the 63 S E Performance. Or.. I could be completely wrong. I'm looking forward to finding out though! Appreciate you dropping in and commenting!

@@MtnRoads The SE Performance already has the GT/S badge on the rear tailgate with coloured edges added and that seems like the norm now for all the P3 hybrid equipped models...not referring to the SE performance inscription on the side fenders. As you say could be wrong. It'll be interesting what/how many variants will eventually be released and what the nomenclature will follow as it's already not the same as the previous gen GT. 🙂

@@AV_Aero You were correct. It is not the GT S. It is the AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+, revealed today.

      Thanks MtnRoads
The name of this new variant is cool and great that it lives on from the previous GT model.
