Sad to not see my favorite glitch; "Tank top" where you take two tanks, have one get flipped on it's back, then roll another Tank up it like a ramp. Once it's in this position, you flip the bottom Tank and the other one goes flying and spins like crazy and bounces off anything it hits. It works best in multiplayer and having a player with Overshield in the Tank so it lasts longer. It never gets old.
Jervalin, you need to submit a speed run for GDQ. The fact you can break down all these tricks is something that makes the run a lot more enjoyable during their events

Halo 2 is by far the most fun campaign to play, and it was great to experience it to an all new extent with Acrophobia. Halo CE is pretty cool as welll, but Halo 3 was mostly lame as it has extremely tight invisible barriers around the play area. I’d love to see a big patch where they are able to allow more freedom in H3 to fly around without all the barriers.

Today when I finished my legendary run, when tartarus triggered his returning to the middle floor by running off the top floor, he got stuck on the curved rim around the top floor and then stood still doing nothing until I grenades him off. I guess if you stop tartarus' ai mid action, he stops doing anything until his action is finished.
Jerv that was an amazing video this is the halo game i started out on as a child so my imagination ran wild about certain out of the map things when i was a kid i didnt know what was hidden in this game it was so mysterious, its nice to have some of the mystery solved years later
Talking about super bounces, one trick i used in the past was to open up the friends menu in halo 2 (where you also had clans etc). Opening the menu and closing it made the graphics go into very low res for 1 second which helped me find more super bounces due to some of these connected polygons being almost invisible.
A little tip for the Tartarus fight: if you (the player) takes a beam rifle to the final fight then You can break his shields like Johnson does. So you can pop his shields then switch to another weapon like the Carbine and destroy him, I beat co-op legendary with this tip. And yes Johnson will still shoot at his regular intervals, so if the shields are down then Johnson will do damage ;) Great video
There’s another potential glitch that can happen when doing the elevator launch on Oracle. It happened to me the first time I did the launch. After cutting all three cables, I got stuck in a perpetual fall animation. Now I could have done it wrong and that’s why it happened. But I did the same thing after loading a save and managed to get it to work so I really don’t know what caused it.
16:47 are you talking about the glitch where as soon as you cut the final cable and it breaks free you jump at the perfect time and it launches you up into the sky freefalling above the map as it falls below you. If that’s what your talking about, I’ve been doing that for fun since I was a teenager.
This is a long shot but can you find out anything in the code relevant to the Tantrum Glitch? Specifically whether or not the idle animation is always x-seconds after a certain action etc? This could make Tantrum set ups more consistent. It appears idle (with BR) happens every 14-16 seconds after an action like weapon swap, melee, and walking. Would be interested if you or anyone else knows more on the idle mechanic specifically and what timing there might be
My favorite glitch was the one where if you park a Warthog on top of a Wraith's turret with the wheels hanging off either side, then get out of the Warthog, get onto the crossbar between passenger and driver seat, look down, crouch 5093485 times, then jump. The Wraith will explode and the Warthog gets sent to the skybox. It's great. It was either that or flying across the map using the rocket/sword lunge glitch.
the glitch is shooting straight while holding the weapon pointed at the ground? you dont know about the bxr snipe that auto headshots every time? like what?

You can also do this by ramming a Scorpion in just the right spot with a Wraith.
