I love breakdowns of speedruns and also commentated runs explaining tricks as they happen, helps to know just how ridiculous of a feat they are. Like my friends who dont play halo still enjoy speedruns alot due to GarishGoblins runs because he explains the keys bump, out of map glitches, the rng of tricks and why they work etc etc. You are the GOAT of this deathless scene so its awesome to get a behind the scenes of just what it takes to be the GOAT. This feels like it's turning into that Dark Souls challenge where people beat the game deathless, and then someone decided to beat 7 games in a row deathless.

And somehow you just made my jaw hit the floor with your warthog overshield glass skip. That was incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FYI, there is a 100% technique for skipping escorting Keyes. Kill everything between the 2nd and 3rd floor. Then go back and open the door and run to the next loading zone. The door will not have enough time to reclose and will trigger the ending to happen early no matter what. I figured it out doing LASO.
I was really surprised you struggled on AoTCR Banshee trick. I casually do Legendary speedruns and found it incredibly easy. Not saying this as a brag, you have done far better than me in this game, just very surprising that was a point that stumped you for so long.

Idk I really don’t think that deathless legendary halo CE is that bad even without skips. Tedious but not that bad. Halo CE is an extremely fair legendary experience. I mean you gotta be good but if you be patient, take every over-shield, plan ahead, and git good for a few fights when the game demands it, it’s really not too bad. There’s a few parts that are quite challenging without skips. Particularly T&R hanger bay, pre- shotgun library, the end of two betrayals, a couple hallways in keys, the upper area of cryo bay in Maw, but it’s all manageable
By the way, yes, the game thinks you are in combat which is why it doesn't save. If you mod the game or understand coding, you can download the MCC modding kit for Halo 2 and look at the script files. There are a few checks for whether or not a game is safe to save if that check was put in and one of them is if you are in combat. It's why you can get weird af saves when playing with the arbiter if you go invisible or with the envy skull on.

With the amount of skill it already takes to beat these games, just doing it without dying ONCE is some serious skill doing them back to back. Honestly Halo 1 has a lot of aspects that are harder than Halo 2 (other than the regret fight because that fight it absolute BS 😂). I've had many times walking around with 1-3 bars of red HP for several minutes where my time to kill was the same as Halo 2 or worse and I was struggling due to how many more enemies you fight in the first Halo compared to the others. Other than that, knowing enemy spawns for Halo 2 is enough. Halo 3 is probably the easiest with the hardest part being getting past the F'in outdoor scarab/AA section on the mongoose and cortana. Thankfully reach wasn't on here either as that game is the hardest out of all of them imo. The AI in that game is simply, relentless and on legendary pretty much every single elite is an ultra. Might as well just turn on the thunderstorm skull as you probably won't even notice a difference 😂 Edit: Oh, and I forgot about the VERY high chance of death happening on gravemind before you can even MOVE 🤣
Here's a difficult challenge play the trilogy plus reach on the original versions that have waaay less tricks I think doing the run glitchless is probably just as hard

He's not continuing. He restarts the challenge each time he dies. Every time he dies in the video is an example of a failed run. He eventually had a complete run without dying a single time.

yeah this is the first trilogy run in order completed, this is also the first try single segment trilogy run because i had a playlist made specifically to exclude the menus. Thesus did beat a version of Trilogy, however the games were out of order. That may not matter to some, and it really doesn't bother me either, but this was the first trilogy completion deathless of all three games in order.
