Nice introduction to Temescal Canyon. I've been familiar with it since 1972. I have photos from then. Went there in 2022 again. Can you or anyone tell me about trail conditions after the bad August 2023 storm? I'm primarily interested in the Rivas trail and the hike to High Point / Goat Peak. It has become way overgrown over the decades. Last year still decent but for my upcoming trip Sept 2023 I'm concerned whether parts of the Rivas / High Point trail have become unsafe.
