It is something truly extraordinary to be part of a rock band. I played for 20 years in one and nothing i have experienced in life can top the feeling of being on that stage watching out over the crowd and vibe with the audience. It's magic!
Bon Jovi had a lot of great songs:Livin' On Prayer,You Give Love A Bad Name,Born To Be My Baby,Living In Sin,I'll Be There For You,Bad Medicine,In My Arms,It's My Life,Runaway,Never Say Goodbye,Have A Nice Day,We Weren't Born To Follow,All About Loving You...all hits.🖐️
Bon Jovi were a hit machine in the 80’s. Them and Def Leppard were the two biggest arena rock bands. Go with “Livin’ on a Prayer” next, Then “You Give the Love a Bad Name.” Both songs for the same album “Slippery When Wet.” This album was the pinnacle of their career.
These guys are still kickin' it & Jon does a tremendous amount of charity. He has one he started that feeds the hungry & he physically helps doing it. Great band & great humans.
My first concert was when I was a soldier stationed in upstate NY. The concert was in Rochester, NY. 1984 and was Bon Jovi opening for the Scorpions. Great concert!
I was 12 when this album came out. I remember buying this cassette with my own money and listening to the entire thing. I didn’t hit fast forward one time.
I saw these guys at Market Square Arena Indianapolis, IN on July 19,1985. Was a Sophomore in HS. They were the opening act. They were brand new. They didn't open for very long. They became HUGE. In the 80s was when the music rocked. At least, this kind. It was getting big. Ratt, Motley Crue, Scorpions, etc. You would have loved it.
Still married to his high school sweetheart. Gives to his community. Just a wonderful human being besides being a great singer. I was born in 1961. Boy do I miss the music back then when they sung better in person than on records.
The perfect song for those who are touring or just traveling a lot. But especially any touring artist I think could relate heavily to this song. Or has felt like this. Great introspective song.
All the artists were great then and just so much love between the two forces. Bands back then partied with fans. My friends met motley crue who were just out walking around their hotel. I'm so glad our music has lasted from the 60s all the way through the 90s.
Love your unfiltered reactions lol. This is probably my favorite Bon Jovi's song but he's got so many good ones. Try some of his classic songs like Living On A Prayer or You Give Love A Bad Name and also try his solo work like Blaze Of Glory from the Young Gungs Movie. Great song.
7:00. Correct! Eighties. I taped their first hit, you give love a bad name, or something, off the radio on a cassette. Then I played it on my boom box in the back of the bus to and from eighth grade. Beastie Boys, Run DMC, and other weird, obscure songs. Anything to get some attention or validation. Being autistic in the old days, (especially before there was a term for it) was tough. Still is.
Bon Jovi was so hot in the 80s and 90s and are still one of the most successful bands of all time. Early 90s Bon Jovi was absolutely amazing and their first greatest hits album the Cross Croad from that era is one of my favourite albums
I first heard this song in the episode of Miami Vice called "El Viejo". It starred Willie Nelson as an elderly retired Texas Ranger who comes to Miami seeking bloody vengeance from a drug lord. The way he casually manhandles and outwits Crockett and Tubbs is pretty awesome.
Bon jovi had all the ladies swooning and still does, his son inherited his good looks (from his mom too of course) and is also a lady's man too. My mom had a crush on this man, and that strong jawline. ha. Even as an older salt and pepper gray haired dude, he still attracts ladies. Lol.
I turned 13 years old in 1980. Older feral GenX lived our teens out in raising hell at bon fire keg parties having fun being together as we did in our adolescents when we'd ride our bikes all day unsupervised, as usual. Sometimes 10 and 15 miles from home. The number one rule was to be home before dark.
A bit of trivia about Jon Bon Jovi, he never did drugs, he married his high school sweetheart and when she couldn’t go on the road with him he talked to here everyday before and after every show. And today he is a very dedicated family man, and can you imagine being the son or daughter of Jon Bon Jovi and having him show up for parents career day at your school. Bon Jovi created music that was meant for everyone regardless of who you are, or your skin color, or religious beliefs, they touched everyone with their music. And that was the beauty of music back then, there wasn’t any race or skin color in it, there was no white thing or black thing nor was there a brown thing, it spoke to everyone!
I enjoy watching you enjoy all these types of music especially 80's rock ,in my mind was the greatest time of rock music ...so ...keep rocking sweetheart , you are beutiful
they toured for the album this song is on for almost 2 yrs non stop all over the world. so this "behind the scenes" music video basically showed you the toll the tour took on them and it was a hell of a price.
🙋🏻♀️Hy!! I came to your channel exclusively because I was looking for "Bon Jovi" reactions! First of all, "Jon Bon Jovi" (the vocalist) is the most beautiful and sexy man on this planet. In the 80's and mid 90's he was so fucking attractive it hurt!!!! He could be my father, but God!!! Thanks to RUclips for letting me meet him in his best times. Second, his voice is amazing, it is one of the best voices that have ever existed. 😍 This band is THE BEST!!!!!! You have to react to their best times, from the beginning... The 80's are going to blow your mind. - "I'll be there for you" 💕 (it's my favorite). Wonderful rock ballad. - "Bad Medicine" 💧 (a masterpiece... totally rock and sexy). - "You give love a bad name" (magnificent). - "Born to be my baby" (I love this song). - "Livin' on a prayer" (their most iconic song). - "She don't know me" (it's my weakness from their first album 💕). - "Runaway" (Their first big hit). - "Never say goodbye" (beautiful rock ballad). - "Wild in the streets" (magnificent). - "Living in sin" (SEXY video and beautiful rock song). - "Always" (one of their most beautiful rock ballads). - "This ain't a love song" (another beautiful rock ballad). - "Bed of roses" THERE ARE SO MANY WONDERFUL SONGS!!!!!!! If you keep reacting to them, you'll always have me on your channel. I hope you continue, because it's also a sight gratification (that man is beautiful and hot as hell 😂😍💧). Greetings from Argentina.
I was a DJ back in the early to mid 80s, it was a decade like no other. It was a great time to be a young adult. The music, Mtv, house parties, cruising, beach parties with surfing and volleyball, fringed leather and torn jeans, the wild concerts and men with sexy long hair and earrings. The 80s was also known for its Power Ballads, love songs by rock bands. Bon Jovi was my favorite band. Some of my faves are, “Livin’ On A Prayer”, “Always”, “You Give Love A Bad Name” & “Bed of Roses”. I don’t know which decades, artists and genres of music you’ve listened to, but the 70s and 90s had good music too. Some of the 50s & 60s also. Even the 30s and 40s for that matter. I love many different genres of music, my favorites being Rock, Soul, and the Blues. You might wanna check out: Aerosmith “Dream On” & “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”. Whitesnake, “Still of The Night”, “Slow an’ Easy” & “Love Ain’t No Stranger“. Skid Row, “18 & Life” & “I Remember You”. Queen, “Bohemian Rhapsody “. Billy Idol, Rebel Yell”. Janis Joplin, “Little Piece of My Heart”. Michael Bolton, “Said I Loved You But I Lied” & “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You”. Sade Adu, “Ordinary Love”. Toni Braxton, “Unbreak My Heart”. Marvin Gaye, “Let’s Get It On”. Elvis Presley, “If I Can Dream” & “Suspicious Minds”. Prince, “Purple Rain”. George Michael & Elton John, “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me “. Tom Jones, “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again”. Stevie Ray Vaughan, “Voodoo Child”. Jonny Lang, “Lie To Me “. Whitney Houston, “Run To You” & “I Will Always Love You”. A modern Italian Operatic trio named il Volo, “We Are Love”…there are 2 versions, English and Italian. Home Free, “When A Man Loves a Woman”. Nat “King” Cole, “Unforgettable”. Bobbie Gentry, “Ode to Billy Joe”. Guns & Roses, “Sweet Child O’ Mine”. & Aretha Franklin, “Chain of Fools”. I hope you can expand your musical horizons. 🎼🎶🎸
@ 8:40 when you talk about Van Halen, with David Lee Roth, yeah those performances were epic. Hard to believe, but David Lee Roth was something else. He couldn't do those amazing moves if he was on drugs. Roth was a perfectionist. It's part of the reason for his exodus from the band.
Theme song to a western movie with Emelio Estevez (Charlie Sheen's brother, Martin Sheen's son) Kiefer Sutherland (24, Lost Boys, Lean on me) and Lou Diamon Phillips (La Bamba) and an all star cast about "Billy the Kid" called YOUNG GUNS.
The year was 1986, and this was all over the radio. My lifelong best friend was murdered in a daylight robbery at a used car lot, this song will forever be burned into my memory as representing my best friend.
Where to start with Bon Jovi:"Livin' On A Prayer" "You Give Love A Bad Name" "Bad Medicine" "I'll Be There For You" "Bed Of Roses" "Always" - just to name a few.
Those types of concerts were so massive and electrifying back in the day...been to lots of them. Dont sleep on the 70s....thats where the 80s get it from in rock lol
Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive! (reaction) this might be my favorite band... She said before she heard Nightwish, Ghost love score, live at Wacken open Air 2013. Hahahahaha
I was 14 years old when this came out and this album is the first music I ever bought in my life. Slippery When Wet, the album this was on, can be played on a loop forever and never gets old. Great reaction. 😄 (The song that got me hooked was "You Give Love a Bad Name". Check it out sometime, you might enjoy it.)
Like others have said, great song of many in that era but there are a ton of of tunes you need to hear and this was one of them. If you liked this, try Def Leppard and Rock of Ages, another 80s hit. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
People attribute this song to the movie "yung guns" but BJ played to "YG ll"- Bleze of glory. I recommend the movie Young Guns. It was when guys had balls ;)
That moment when Gen Z discovers the Gen X soundtrack.... The heavens open and all is right with the world again. :) Love the vid, thank you and keep them up... This is only the beginning, there is ALLOT more!
love the Video's as I think u do a great job so keep up the great work and I wish u all the best success in 2023 and many more years to come! Also.... U gotta be one of prettiest women alive.. just sayin!
Great reaction to a great band You should try ACDC let there be rock live, Def Leppard pour some sugar on me, linkin park numb or in the end. Phil collins in the air tonight or against all odds and paradise,
If you want to hear a great female rock band check out Heart! Anne Wilson(lead vocals) and Nancy Wilson( guitars and vocals) They have a bunch of hits, but check out Barracuda from 1977! These ladies jam and Anne is probably my favorite female vocalist and then Pat Benatar! Please check out Barracuda 1977 from Heart! You're bringing back memories from when I was in high school 1980-84! Thank you!
Bon Jovi was really popular with guys and girls, but especially girls because of the soulful lyrics, a lot of love ballads, a relatively clean image and, I imagine Jon Bon Jovi's good looks. You probably will like them even more the more that you listen. A few other 80s songs of theirs that you might like: Livin' on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name, I'd Die for You, Never Say Goodbye, Born to Be My Baby, I'll Be There for You. If you don't want to react to them, you could just listen to the albums Slippery When Wet and New Jersey (which they all come from) on your own time.
An awesome live performance is by Queen at Live Aid in1985. Do yourself, and us, as favor and watch the full concert. Freddie Mercury was legendary on stage. And please do continue your Bon Jovi exploration. They were/are an awesome band.
Here's some bands you can check out from the 80s and 90s Winger, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Motley Crew, Poison, Warrant, White Lion...the list goes on and on.. enjoy 🎸

It's magic!
Cinderella, Tesla, Mr big, Whitesnake, the scorpions, Def Leppard. All have great 80s ballads!
Tesla never gets love.
@@Tom8683-r2b :( fact.
It doesn’t just have to be the 80s. The 60s 70s and 80s we’re all incredible musically.
I was born in the 90s and i agree!!! Different feels authentic.
You missed a decade the 90s
@@diltberg9627 wish I was north in the 80s
Agree 100%. Started to take a dump in the 90's.
@@thequiet1374 I personally think the 90s is the best era because I love grunge and green day is my favorite band
Every song from Bon Jovi is awesome. They are one of the greatest bands of all time. Please react to more of them.
They’ve seen a million faces and they rocked them all .
Love this song still to this day!! It has survived the lengths of time!! You have good taste girl
I was born in 1971 so Bon Jovi were very popular when i was a teenager so every time I hear them it brings back a lot of good memories :)
73 here. The first real concert I went to was Bon-Jovi & Cinderella the “Slippery When Wet Tour. March of 87”. 🤘🏼Great decade to be a teenager.
1970 here, didn’t get to see them till2013 but still a great concert
Woody I seen that same tour in utica NY. Was totally awesome then Tommy Lee's rolling drum kit when Crue came to town.

80's rock forever sweetheart , best decade for music , not only for rock music but country n hip hop was the also really good
Still married to his high school sweetheart. Gives to his community. Just a wonderful human being besides being a great singer. I was born in 1961. Boy do I miss the music back then when they sung better in person than on records.
It's pretty funny when they show the keyboard player coming off stage like he's exhausted. He stood there and played the keyboard.
These guys made it big in the mid eighties. This song was featured in one of the Young Guns movies. (Billy the Kid)
That was blaze of glory
I think my introduction to the song was from the movie Young Guns.
They have another song for the sequel Young Guns 2 called Blaze Of Glory.
The perfect song for those who are touring or just traveling a lot. But especially any touring artist I think could relate heavily to this song. Or has felt like this. Great introspective song.

I played from 93ish to the early 00’s in a local band and for me my guitar was the wall between me and being shy in front of people in Allentown,PA
"My throat is cond... my voice box is conditioned" ...nice save 😏
That was awesome!
Thanks!
This song is also the theme for the TV show deadliest catch and has been for 20 seasons

Hello Jayshara. Bon Jovi is my favorite musical band. You should try their ballad, "bed of roses"....it wont disappoint :-)

Can't go wrong with anything Bon Jovi. Gun n' roses "patience".
Mr. Big "be with you".
Toto "Hold the line".
It's the soundtrack to "Young Guns" a Western
You would like Turn the page. By Bob Seger or the cover by metallica
