Back when we had real musicians, real people, real bands, real passion in music.
Their still out there just open your mind and find them.
And real MTV.
@@snozbaries7652 Oh, thank you sir! That was mind-blowing!
True. Sampling is for losers
@@snozbaries7652 aa!a!
Richie Sambora never get’s enough recognition! There would not be a Bon Jovi sound without Richie’s amazing voice.
In my opinion there is no Bon Jovi without Richie. The music changed drastically without him co-writing.
Exactly.
Absolutely
Its his choice to leave because he said he wanted to be fulltime father...
Guitar solo!!!! Ritchie Sambora is criminally underrated!
Vocally too
Yes, he is!!!
The video to this song shows that its about the life of a rockstar. 🤩
I'm really missing the video. Nothing better than watching him rock out!😍
@@Kmd2574 I know. They are missing all these good vids. 😄
The video is so good. Fn timeless song
@@Kmd2574 Yes, you can get the meaning of the song by watching the video.
All these people reacting to videos are missing out not watching the videos. These lyric videos suck and most of them don’t even get the words right.
I thought it was, "I've seen a million faces, and I've *rocked* them all."
I think it is.
I thought that was wrong but I thought, maybe it's just me. lol
And you thought right. People who do these lyrics' videos think they're doing the bands a service but with so many mistakes they're doing exactly the opposite. In this day and age, where lyrics are available and accessible at a click or a tap, it's unadmissible that people put out videos like this one.
It is
It is that. It’s in the cassette tape backing I bought a hundred years ago.
Listen to his solo work. "Blaze of Glory" from Young Guns 2 soundtrack
great song, great lyrics! love this song so much
Blaze of Glory lead guitar is Jeff Beck.
IIRC, the director wanted to use this song for Young Guns. Bon Jovi said it didn't fit, and wrote "Blaze of Glory" specifically for Young Guns.
One of the best albums ever made from one of the best Westernmovies ever made! Yoho, ill make you famous ❤
Yes!!! So good!
I love that you guys chose this song to react to. This is one of those songs that you really need to watch the video also! It really compliments the song, so please watch it on your own time! But I get it from your side not knowing, it's hit or miss choosing what version to react to. Mostly I'm just glad you are listening to it! Good job! 👍🏽
complement is when something goes with something else. compliment is saying something positive
Lol
“I’ve seen a million faces and I’ve rocked them all” best line in a song!
It’s actually not I’m rockin on
Yea the guy that made the video messed up a few times. How hard is it to copy paste 😂
You REALLY missed out not watching the video. It's a classic and really compliments the song.
Complements 😁
That double neck guitar played by Sambora
My first concert…when I was 6 years old. My mother claims that JBJ walked out onto a catwalk singing this, spotted my little self standing there in awe, and he supposedly sang the first verse looking at me.
Yeah this was my first concert at 13, an yes there was catwalk.. was a great 1st concert banging actually
They played this song acoustic at an MTV video music awards. MTV did not want then to do the song that way, thought it would slow the energy of the show. Bonjovi did it acoustic anyway and KILLED IT! That one performance launched MTV Unplugged!
It is the theme song for the Discovery Channel's show "Deadliest Catch", and was used in two movies soundtracks and is in Grand Theft Auto.
Yes it is thought I was gonna be the only 1 thinking that.
I always thought it was a good match to Deadliest Catch with the Steel Horse being their boats.
The steel horse is a motorcycle and the six string on his back is the guitar ...
Metaphors for the Horse and revolver of a cowboy ... check out the live version ...
It’s Bad Ass too
Always thought the steel horse was referring to their private jet, flying from concert to concert in.
The steel horse was the tour bus, not a motorcycle or a plane. It shows in the video when they are driving from city to city. I actually used music in my class to teach the kids about metaphors. This is my favorite Bon Jovi song, and quite possibly my favorite song of all time. When it comes on, I crank it, every single time.
JBJ has been throwing out hits after hits for at least 37 years since he first came out with Runaway which is still one of his best hits ever. As time passed he’s been able to put out new music and still put out hits during his career. All of his songs are great! Thx for leaving a great legacy behind
The intro is my second favorite part in this song.
My top favorite part is when John sings "I'm wanted" then Richie comes in with the back up vocal "want-ed!!". That part is the absolute best bite of the song! So good
Richies solo pitch harmonics sound so dope in the solo
Richie Sambora was the man on those strings
And the crucial support vocals.
His vocals are amazing too. His solo album was fire too. Ballad of Yourh was my favorite..
@@deannawalker7022 Definitely! Had the pleasure of seeing him perform as part of Bon Jovi in May 2011 and solo in July 2014. Very underrated voice and that first album of his was great (loved _Father Time_ ).
I have seen Bonjovi in concert...he's awesome. Love him ❤️
The life of a rockstar. Over a period of time the faces start to look the same, you play hard every night because you don't know if you will ever be back in that town. The steel horse is the airplanes, limos, busses, or whatever means of transportation that will get you to the next show. There is one small edit on this. The lyrics in this video say, "I've seen a million faces, and I'm rockin' on". But it's actually, "I've seen a million faces, and I've rocked them all." No biggie. But great song, the music video for this goes hand in hand with the song. Check it out someday.
OMG you have so much song to listen too 😍😍 It's my favourite band ever ! Jon voice is pure gold they made 15 album 2 compilation et Jon made 2 solo album that are amazing. The most iconic is Livin On A Prayer 🤘 but there is so many song that you have to listen OMG is Amazing. They are the best !!
Unless u are old enough to remember, when Bon Jovi first came out, then I can try to tell u how popular (Especially with the ladies) they were! It was a complete circus, with people trying to get near them! I was b/t 10 & 12 when they first hit,& I clearly remember the way they Blew Up instantly!
From soundtrack for "young guns" the movie, along with "blaze of glory" etc
This was a crazy good album when it came out, and this is one of the songs that will remain a banger forever!
Hey guys, you're reaction was awesome! I'm glad you did this. Bon Jovi is a great band to watch live, good footage out there. The guitarist Richie Sambora writes most if not all these amazing songs and his voice is lead vocal quality.
Some suggestions "Livin on a Prayer", "You Give Love a Bad Name", "Bed Of Roses".
It's funny to me, their name sounds like after shave/cologne Bon Jovi Musk for Men! I love you guys.😎
I agree totally about Richie. I like his voice best!
Richie co-wrote the songs. He didn’t write most of them. John had more influence on the lyrics while Richie had more influence of the music itself. They’ve been very open about it.
I cant believe no one has ever reacted to 'Always' live @ wembley. Probably the best live performance ever. You guys have to do it.
The actual lyric is "I've seen a million faces...and I've ROCKED them all". It's not "and I'm rockin' on".
One of the greatest songs about life on the road.
The actual video of this song is pretty cool. You would`ve liked it even more if you saw the official video. The "unplugged" version is really good also.
The song is about rock stars being on tour..Traveling from town to town state to state.....P S A steel horse is a motorcycle
I see Bon Jovi many times in concert, there just amazing, Jon is known for doing many good thing for the poor in New Jersey, he build many houses for the homeless, and give them Jobs in his soul kitchen, Pay it for with
"Ive seen a million faces, and Ive ROCKED them all"!
I love this song! The video really brings this song to life. The life of a rockstar is depicted here. The steel horse is their aircraft that takes them from city to city. You guys got it to a tee. They are wanted by their fans: dead or alive. Check it out👵🏿👍🏾🎸🤗🎶
The 'steel horse' might also be their tour bus, eh?
They took their motorcycles and would often ride them while on tour ...
Metaphors for the life of an outlaw cowboy ....
Steel horse - motorcycle
6 string on his back- a revolver
All good
It’s a motorcycle dummy
@@martinbrotherton5153Jon's solo song Miracle video showed the motorcycles.
It’s the tour bus
I saw them live for bounce tour in 2003 was amazing thousands of fans all still singing songs out of stadium all way down to train station never seen anything like it.
You probably recognize this song from the TV show Deadliest Catch
Saw Bon Jovi in Lexington,KY 1987 I think.7th grade my friends mom took us. Lol!Cinderella opened up for um and was just as amazing.
This is the song playing at the beginning of Harley Davidson and the Marlboro man, when Harley hits the road on his steal horse.
Steel horse is the tour bus. The mob is the band members....love the metaphor.
Wow! Asia has a beautiful voice! 💪
I always thought of the steel horse as a motorcycle. The brother of this song is Jon Bon Jovi's "Blaze of Glory" Emilio Estevez asked him if he could use 'Wanted Dead or Alive" in his film Young Guns 2, and Bon Jovi wrote Blaze of Glory on a napkin while they ate breakfast.
There’s a strong catalog of music & great videos
These guys were “It!” and the original MTV was a thing of beauty
Anyways,
Lay Your Hands On Me - Super Fun VideoSong 🎶✌️
It's fun to watch moments of recognition. 😂
Love the lyrics, but I think you should see the video that they put out, really great footage of being on the road, rocker life, audience...which I'm in somewhere!! 😁👍🏽
Love this band!! ❤👍🏽
This is absolutely my favorite decade of music! The band wrote their own music, they played their instruments, SANG THEIR OWN SONGS WITHOUT AUTOTUNE! The big hair band produced some of the best music that still stands today! The show on Discovery Deadliest Catch uses this song as its theme. And actually there’s a song they did for the movie Young Guns that has the western sound with the song Blaze Of Glory. I could name 20 tunes Bon Jovi had that were HITS!
Jon did the whole soundtrack for Young Guns 2 and ALL of it was wonderful. My favorite is Miracle.
Great song. The video version is even better. This is one of the best bands of the 80’s in the rock genre. Their song “ Living on a prayer” was voted by VH1 as the best song of the 80’s. Same album as this one. If you react to it the official video is the one. ✌️😎
Hands down my favorite Bon Jovi song.
Oh, how i wish you did the video......it really adds to the meaning of the song.
If I remember right, the acoustic version that aired on the MTV Video Awards Show
in the 80’s started the whole Unplugged Series. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
You're correct
No you're right and that was an awesome performance by Richie sambora and bon Jovi
@@danielschartzer1396 Legendary performance.
I think you would enjoy Dry County live from Wembley 1996. One of Bon Jovi's best live performances. Unbelievable guitar solo. Your goose bumps will even get goose bumps.
Criminally underrated song. That guitar solo by Sambora is fantastic!
Listen, this song is about him being a rockstar. His steel horse is his tour plane. I grew up listening to Bon Jovi and 53 years old. This song is full of amazing metaphors.!
They are one of the 80's bands and this is another band that had a power ballad songs wanted dead or alive, it was also the main song in Young Guns the movie
The song follows a common guitar style that fuses blues, rock and flamenco guitar. You can also find it in Robert Plant’s ‘Big Log’, Bob Segar’s ‘Turn the Page’ and of course Jon Bon Jovi’s “Blaze of Glory’.
Bon Jovi is Rocked with Folk roots
This is my favorite Bon Jovi song! My 9yr daughter loves Living On A prayer!
Ritchie Sambora was his guitar player, his 12 string intro, and 6 string solo are iconic. and oh yeah…., that was Ritchie on the backing vocals…, that really made the song.
This song was used in the intro for tv show called Deadliest Catch.
Please react to-Ill be there for you-Official video. It really shows his range and Richie Sambora's too. It's such a great song. It doesn't hurt that Jon and Richie are also amazing to look at. Lol
The song was used in the Young Guns movie.
The steel horse is his mode of transportation, be it plane or bus, to every appearance, (concert), with a loaded six string on his back, which is his guitar, because he is wanted dead or alive, so he rides, dead or alive.
"I've been everywhere, still I'm standing tall, I've seen a million faces & I've rocked them all. 'Cause I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride, and I'm wanted dead or alive".
A metaphoric description of his grueling & exhausting schedule as a rock star using an old 1800's western theme of a gunfighter/bank robber who was wanted dead or alive.
It served so brilliantly as an upgraded & modern musical theme for the movie plot from the 1800's, and it served his band in sharing a real vision of their behind the scenes existence & what they must do to accomplish the demanding scheduled appearances for their rock star status.
IMO, one legendary song, dual purposed and masterfully done. It goes in the timeless category with the other greats.
Their performance of this song on the MTV music awards is probably my favorite MTV music performance. You should check it out!
Then check out their live performance on MTV before unplugged was a thing. It’s epic
This was the soundtrack to the Movie "Young Guns"
That was Blaze Of Glory when Bon Jovi was on a hiatus for Young Guns 2. Jon did the Blaze of Glory soundtrack solo. This song was on the Slippery When Wet album released in 1986
@@TheSmithereens80 my bad , i knew it was a bon jovi song , i thought for sure it was this one , oh well cant be right all the time , lol , thanks for the correction
@@SkindrixX All good. Just didn't want them to get confused. They do both have the western style to it so I can see people getting them mixed up. If you've never heard the version of Blaze of Glory from the MTV's An evening with Bon Jovi with Ritchie's version of the solo you should check it out. Ritchie adds a little extra soul to Jeff Beck's version and I like it better. Cheers
@@TheSmithereens80 I was a teenager when Bon Jovi cam out , if i remember right i was like 15 or 16 . I was a Bon Jovi fan as well back then so i probably have heard it, but i will check it out anyway. Thanks
This song Wanted dead or alive Bon Jovi The song was in the movie Young Guns and its the intro for the television program Deadliest Catch
Bon Jovi is too awesome! Saw them in concert, back in the eighties. Bon Jovi in black leather pants...yum!😜
A melhor banda do mundo! 🇧🇷🤘🏾🎸
If you liked this one, you should check out some of Richie Sambora’s ( lead guitar and backing vocals) solo work. “Harlem Rain” is a good one.
I almost like the first part with a country/western feel the best . I wouldn’t have been mad if that had carried through the entire song . Richie Sambora cranked that solo and it was beautiful.
This song was for the movies young guns.... great movie about Billy the kid
I believe you're thinking of Blaze of Glory for Young Guns 2
My bad yes 11 other songs they sang for young guns not this one...
Steel horse was the tour bus. Their sound track for the movie “young guns” a year or two later sounded very similar.
Y'all be killing it another great reaction
Ya they added some bad ass country to this song. I saw them when I was 13 in 1993. Never forget that shit. First real concert. When he said “ I seen a million faces! “ every fn light in the whole arena came on and it was so bright for a hot second then dark again. How fn epic
It's the feature song and was made for Young Guns I, the movie.
Young Guns II has another song especially made for it, called Blaze of Glory. It's another catchy tune that will have you saying, I HEARD OF THAT !
WHEN YOU MISS THE VIDEO YOUR MISSING HALF OF THE STORY
Bon Jovi is a band. Shout out to Ritchie Sambora’s backup vocals and guitar solo along with co-writing most of their song with Jon. I’ve seen them live at various times in their 35+ years. They are so talented and I miss Ritchie, who left the band to help his daughter through mental illness. David Bryan on keyboard sand Tico Torres on drums. Perfect storm❤️
YES my favorite band growing up!!! Let's Gooooooooooo!!!
Looks like you are listening to some power ballads today. You will have to check out Every Rose Has it’s Thorn by Poison. It’s another power ballad from the same timeframe.
Your channel popped up in my feed. I've watched a few of your reactions and had to subscribe. Love your vibe!👍👍💙💙
Love it. Steel horse is a plane or bus they ride to concerts. No matter how they feel DEAD OR ALIVE they have to get there. Rough life but keep going. Bon Jovi is awesome sauce 😎
33 years ago from the date you downloaded this video, I was at this concert.
It's about life on the road for a rockstar....steel horse is his guitar... Love y'all ❤️
Skid Row "I Remember You" needs to be done
You need to watch the video. The song is basically about being on the road away from family. The "wanted dead or alive" probably comes from the demands put on them to appear whether they are on game or not
The video to this is really cool too. Helps in the interpretation
The guitar solo just gets me EVERY TIME.
I'm so glad you two also reacted to their "Living on a Prayer" which is an equally awesome rock song by Bon Jovi. You guys RAWK!!! :D
Was used as the theme song for Deadliest Catch, about Alaskan Crab fishermen.
This was used as the theme song for the TV Show deadliest catch.
Bad Medicine, You Give Love a Bad Name, Blaze of Glory and and on….30 years and counting. Lots of great music.
OOOOOOH WEEEE YALL ON FIRE lol......yall check out Blaze of Gory, was the soundtrack for Young Guns
@@anthonyb8314 Yes sir brother
@@anthonyb8314 Man....them movies define a moment in time without a doubt ....I love em too.
@@anthonyb8314 Aww man....dam I would love to go there
Love your reactions Asia and BJ. BJ gets what's going on every reaction 👍💪
One of the few great rock bands that came along after 1980
Sometimes song lyrics dont cut it... the video says it all
You probably heard the from tv. It was the theme song for the show The Deadliest Catch.
I think this is a song used in the movie Young Guns ll. It's an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G movie about Billy the Kid and his group of outlaws, its soooo good and this is an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G song by Bon Jovi! You all need to see the official video to this song!!!! It's so good!!!
That sample you both know is most likely from the theme song in "Deadliest Catch" fishing show..👍
Made famous by the Young Guns movie franchise, especially Young Guns 2; it's been featured elsewhere, but that's when it's known from mostly and it's still rocks like most people have said in the comment section so far. A modern singer that is in the same theme as Bon Jovi, is a band called Daughtry, and like Bon Jovi the band's name is the lead singer's last name.
You might recognise it as it was the main song for the 90's teen cowboy movie "young guns"
Asia and BJ. How you doing today I have a great video for you. Bob Seger ( like a Rock) great great song you will enjoy it 🎸
Great reaction. U felt that's like u felt that's. Their best song
This is about life on the road! Jon Bon Jovi has been married to his high school sweetheart all these years! I highly recommend Living On A Pray, You Give Love A Bad Name, Bed Of Roses, I’ll Be There For You and Keep The Faith just a few from there great catalog of music 🎶 by the way Jon & his wife Dorothea have 3 soup kitchens that they work in themselves and do a lot of charity work, there the real deal! Please more Bon Jovi🎶🤟🥰
acoustic sound was a thing about that time it was making its way all around the music bis at the time. MTV unplugged and so on
Oh- was hoping you’d have the official video with it- favorite of mine-MOST of the time seeing the band/ artist is important and helps- my opinion
