2 HD wagons, 1 HR wagon. HX 308 close ratio 4 speed. VF Pacer had drums standard. XB is a 200, blue rocker cover. 2 way gate goes out and down also. HK Monaro is a drum brake pov pack.
another great video mate, that XB looks like it can be saved, I know of 3 Monaros in perth/ wheat belt, maybe combine all of them and that one and you might get a bush-mechanic Monaro
lol all four into 1 bush mechanic monaro that car didnt really have any thing useful left other than the tags , the xb wagon looked more solid than the hx sedan , should get the working door handles of the xb , which did have the 200 motor cos of the blue cover 250 were red, the old hd 2 wagons , maybe chromes etc , the hr wagon few chromes and seat frames which could be redone
Took a trip up to port headland a couple of years ago looking for a hk monaro body that was nearly complete and left on our main roads camp site , but was disapointed to find the area was cleaned up after we left . After checking the old site out i came to the conclussion it is probably still there but it has been buried on site what a shame it was a 186 gts .
@@AutomotiveKarnage Ye mate I’ve got some old rusting 1968 Holden Monaro gts shells with wheels and two Holden hk utes, two sandman shells, an eh Ute, old water truck. Now there is a kingswood shell and a van with and engine in the back just saying

There is a lot of money to be made there. All the chrome, diffs, smaller parts like badges could be salvaged and used to help other owners/enthusiasts restore their cars. Great video.
Thats the idea mate, I enjoy the hunt but mainly I like to help get other people's cars back on the road, thats the main goal of why I find these cars.
I know XB, XC and possibly XA. But it was easy to retrofit between the 3. Rear was the same on all 3. I own a 94 Liftback wagon as I call it. I hate the Hatch back style tailgate. Gets in the way camping with a tinny, sitting on the tailgate back in the day chilling was awesome,
Hey mate new to your channel I just found it and jumping on to check it out. Hey mate there a hd wagon and one HR wagon but big question is where abouts are they.
@@AutomotiveKarnage Yeah that green one, would like to make a 4 door ute. how does ownership work when rego'ing an abandon car? could you tow it to your place for $ so i can pick it up in winter?
Man you’ve got some gold out there mate!! Great vid 🍻
Cheers mate, yeah we are pretty lucky over here to so much nice metal lying around.
That monaro door would make a killer piece of wall art
Thats a cool idea. Might steal that one.
1 HR 2 HD wagons
Cheers mate, i realized after editing.

that sucks. Its a shame when non car folk find these gems and just crush or bury them.
A factory 5 litre 4 speed hx sedan. Pretty wicked mate. I'd get at least the tags if I was you
Yea I'm gonna head back out there to flip it and see if the other tags are still there.

stainless trim on monaro can be repaired, top door trim hanging off , rear window trim sitting on the floor , hard to find parts
Nothing left of that Monaro the HX 5 litre is very rare.
Yeah poor thing got in a fight with some TNT by the looks of her haha.

Awesome bro, the more parts we find out here the more cars we can get back on the road for others to enjoy.

@@AutomotiveKarnage awesome - good to hear. It's a shame these cars were left to rot as they were once someone's pride and joy - stay safe :-)
The XB wagon tailgate could be opened like a door, But also like a traditional tailgate. XB production was from Sept '73 to July '76
Omg... I want to cry.
Awesome vid mate 👍💯👌
Glad you enjoyed
With the xb wagon, tailgate is dual action. swings out or drops down
I think that is a bloody awesome idea, why don't they do that on todays cars? Makes ya wonder.

Hey mate, you came across a ford cortina but i cant find that video, do you remember where the cortina was located??
Do you ever find mini's ?
