I guess people can say what they want about making a whole new car. The big thing here is the unbelievable skill this man has. What an incredible effort to do what he’s done. I’m just pulling apart my 1970 Valiant Pacer that needs a lot of work on rust repair and I have no clue what to do. I would love to have the ability this man has, and I would be home and hosed. Sensational effort. My hat is off to you. Some people just have a gift. I’ve got a rusted out Valiant Pacer

I don't think anyone here is knocking him for building a new car. I think we are just all in awe. I just started a 73 Torana 2 door, I'm with you.

I'm speechless. I used to make a living restoring rusty cars and as a young man I thought I had some skills. But watching this I now realise I was delusional. This is beyond anything I've ever seen in this field of endeavour. I salute you sir, even in my prime I wouldn't have been worthy enough to sweep your floors.

One question...how on earth did that poor car ever get so rusty in the first place?..only thing I can think of is it went for a dip in a river or the sea..never ever seen one that bad before. and absolute kudos to you for tackling something that nobody else would have even dared to think about. a true craftsman.

    Many,many hrs of fab&rebuilding
I had a Monza Blue 327 manual and it was a mint example
When you really pushed the car,the brakes would fade,as they are a heavy car
That will go well with the LS series engine and there are good vented rotors etc available today
    Cheers

I guess the original inspiration was a HK monaro. I cant really see any of the original car left. But its one way of building and owning a car that is completly unaffordable now. This guy has invested a unbelievable amount of time and not really that much money in materials although lm guessing he has alot of equipment.
I gotta take my hat off to him. I know how much of a commitment it is. I once built a 1928 Type 40 Bugatti from only drawings that took 6000hrs to build. It was the last project of that size l ever took on.
My hat goes off to you Sir

Absalutely incredible how that monaro turned out .the amount of rust it had in it the titanic wasnt as bad as that , has this monaro been left in the bush or forest to rust that bad. Being covered with leaves or sitting in long grass for a long time will do this sort of destruction to a car because of permanent moisture and saps from the leaves iv seen this happen . Great work and effort getting this monaro back from the dead no one would probably know where to start or wouldnt bother fixing and refurbishing a car with that much rust i hope it was all worth it.
