- On this Top Ten I pick the ten books I'd take with me to a desert island. The premise is I can ONLY take ten from my existing collection for the rest of my days! No internet, no stores, no climate control and no rescue!

Warlock was the only Gallery I have felt compelled to buy. It has been awesome. The others don't seem to have the GIANT art like this one does.

Numbers 1 and 2 surprised me. Looking forward to reading them.
I think they are timeless.....which is one reason I was SOOO disappointed with the Disney+ Show. Had very little to do with the original version of the character.

Interesting choices. Surprised to see Moon Knight as number 1, not because it isn't good, but unusual for a reader to rank as high. I think the wordier comics would be wiser choices to pick under the circumstances.

I think I vaguely remember that
I immediately knew I would use 5 spots for the marvel cosmic omnibuses (annihilation, annihilation conquest, road to war of kings, war of kings and realm of kings

Interesting choices and I'm surprised to see no DC or actually any comics at all outside Marvel. For me, I'm gonna cheat and count hardcover/trade runs since I don't read omnis too often. These are off the cuff entirely and I'm sure I've forgotten others!

I would rather be stuck on a dessert island, especially if there was an abundance of Black Forest cake. 😉
But, seriously, folks: I would limit myself to COMIC books because, as much as I love comic books, none of them would make my list of Top Ten books in general, not even the Top Twenty list. 🤔
Mine would be:
1) Alan Moore's Supreme.
2) Neil Gaiman's The Sandman.
3) Alex Ross and Kurt Busiek's Marvels.
4) The Infinity Gauntlet Saga (Preferably with the Thanos Quest included).
5) The Korvak Saga.
6) The beginning of George Perez and Kurt Busiek's run in the Avengers.
7) JLA/Avengers, also by Perez and Busiek.
8) A volume collecting a representative sample of some of the best stories from Peter David's run in Hulk (Preferably including the original Maestro story).
9) The collected original Avengers Forever mini.
10) The beginning of Kirkman's Invincible.

I would have also chose the single edition of Lord of the Rings. I don’t know what else I’d choose for the list. My favorite books span multiple volumes.

THAT would be different. Enough people have asked me about this though I think I will assemble one for next month's Top Ten.
If I was on a desert island then they would get ruined by the conditions.😂 I would cheat and just get an iPad with thousands of comics downloaded onto it and a solar charger so I wouldn’t run out of battery.
