I was at this very performance. I was tripping, they came on after Tool, in the middle of the afternoon. The only time it rained for the 5 days I was there, was a ten minute heavy shower when the B Boys played. That only made it even better. I've seen hundreds of bands play, saw the B Boys four times over the years. The 45mins to an hour or so that they played at Glastonbury, was the best live performance I've ever seen. The energy was incredible. They were epic!!! Never forget it.

the stage got wet and they were doing running skids through the puddles! Did you make it to the Pyramid stage to watch Rage Against the Machine afterwards though?

Epic indeed! I was there in 94 at Glastonbury to see the mighty Beastie Boys..loved them, top performance indeed, blew me away.....but the weirdest, and quite possibly the most annoying moment was when some fella behind us wouldn’t stop shouting “play walk this way, play walk this way!!” over, and over and over again.....oh dear...he was a big guy, 6ft 5 at least, wasn’t gonna mess with him....probably cos I’m a girl...& it was pissing down...and he was out of his heeeeeead....gawd bless u Glasto...., ha ha 😜😂

I was there and I just about heard this from the tent but I'd foolishly taken acid and it was all a bit too much outside.
If anyone saw a tent that had "THIS ONE" written on it in marker pen, that was ours. My then gf thought it would make it easier to spot.

Remember watching this on TV at the time (I went to my first Glasto in 1997). Look how small that stage is compared to the Other Stage today! Also, no screens either side of the stage so unless you're near the front you can't really see much. I still remember thinking it looked amazing though - I wanted to go there myself!

I’m so glad the guys didn’t waste any energy in getting sucked in to her little retarded hardcore/softy comment at the end. She probably just finally understood that they were giving her such important job about 2% of sincerity/attention.
