Since this mill caught my eye, I finally made the purchase. Bravo for this development in response to the numerous criticisms mentioned for the first version. Looking forward to owning it and seeing the feedback from influencers on this new version. ❤
beautiful, but the price point is off the rails. there are so many "premium" grinders out there in the $1,200-1,500 range that $2k+ starts getting stupid.
We all know the stigma behind the Weber Workshops brand ($$$), but the innovations, even the small ones, are striking. I get how someone would want to drop an amount of cash on this that is unreasonable for most people.
@WeberWorkshops Would be good to hear if there is a possibility to upgrade or retro-fit parts to a version1 Key. I hope there is, as the new features look to be really thoughtful improvements on an already good design. Upgrading parts would also help avoid having to purchase a whole new grinder which would not be in the interests of sustainability. 👍
@@WeberWorkshops I hope so! Updates look to be thoughtful, even if it's a touch bittersweet to see this announcement because I purchased a v1 Key just a couple months ago after being told no changes were planned :')
Not hating on WW. But there are alternatives out there that are identical to it. M4 Atlas and then Hedone Honne. Both have this sqme feature. Obviously everyone copied someone like the Vintage Cibali so I don't want to hear that tired argument. Maybe WW did a better marketing job than either M4 or Hedone. Thus the mark up. Either way more options are always good for the market. Respect to Webber fkr making power house grinders. Expensive for sure but solid.

My left ear is thankful for the fx channel
I would like to know if Webber has addressed the issues with alignment from Key Mk i.

Big conicals are pretty limited and most grinders don’t look as good.
You’re paying $300-$500 more for brand and aesthetics
You get what you pay for

Newsflash, every hobby has DRs. This is clearly not for you and that’s okay.
MX Cool is coming online soon. Then there's Hedone Honne. My end grade grinder.
Okay that brush compartment is really elegant.
A unit should be shipped to Sprometheus for review.
Siii está muy novedoso todo, lo importante es que realmente aporte al proceso de elaboración para lograr un mejor café
The new magnetic dust lid looks so effortless to use! #SmoothOperator

my left ear enjoyed the sounds!
Looking good WW, I’m looking forward to try it myself 🇺🇸🍀
Have you addressed the issues with alignment?
I Hope there will be an upgrade option for Key 1.0 users. 🙏🏻
We'll be addressing this separately, soon 🙏🏼

Agreed! Obviously not everything could port over, but even a few of these features would be welcome additions!

Any changes on the burr?
The burrs themselves are the same. They are still incredible, and still 83mm Mazzer burrs with our proprietary treatment.
I see there's an October delivery date. But what's the planned release date?
Sales begin 3PM Pacific Time today 🙏🏼
Oh wow! Gotta get my payment details ready for this. Can you point me to the announcement please?
two grand. because that's your real question.

No one has rated it yet. What are you talking about? Just a hater I guess?
