I can send it to you and you can see if the blade feel is different from yours. That razor is a different animal from anything else that I have. Thank you Mikey!! I’ll talk to you soon!!
Thank you! I’ve always know the R 41 just feels different, but when looking at it and the other razors lined up, there was a significant difference in the blade curvature. I’ll talk to you soon, thank you again.
Pretty good,... prettay, prettay, prettay... pretty good. I wonder how the Weishi (and maybe a Super Speed and R89, if you have one) compares regarding blade curvature. Maybe do an extra comparison video? Shaving science is fun.
That’s a really good idea! I will have to do a comparison video with the with all of my razors and perceived blade feel and efficiency. Thank you for that!
@@mmobley011889 My pleasure. Looking forward to it. On B&B is a Wiki entry named "Safety Razor Parameters: Illustrated and Defined". Definitely have a look at that. I also just stumbled over (or rather searched for) the thread "DE razor geometry. A system for measuring aggressive razors." by user "Slock" from May 22, 2021. Maybe there's some food for thought about what else could go into the video. There's a lot you can measure. Cheers LBL
I’ve always wondered if it was. I see people using theirs and it looks smooth and enjoyable even after three passes and this one is almost bbs after two passes.
New subscriber here. Good videos Matt. I also am a fan of NACET blades but enjoy trying out and experiencing many others. Keep going back to NACET and Feather as main blades. It is amazing how good modern blades are compared to what King C. Gillette must have started back in the early 1900s.
The quality is no joke, I’ve tried vintage blades. At least for the pack that I tried it was really rough. If you like feathers, I would give kai blades a go. They are very smooth with a keen edge.
That’s true, with my recent addition of my second job if I want to try and get in a second shave on video it has to be Wednesday and Thursday. I generally do leave at less 3-4 days growth between shaves. I too like it when there is a noticeable change between the beginning of the shave and the end result.
That’s why the R41 is so much blade fill wow I don’t know if I could shave with the 2011 thank you Matt for showing that with that tool

@@mmobley011889 yes Matt if you want to send it i will do a comparison to mine and yours to see if it’s more aggressive
@@mmobley011889 it’s probably a 2011 style you have if you got it in 2012
Great video matt 😊😊😊
Thank you!! I’ve always wondered why the R41 head that I have feels so different and I wanted to explore that with everyone.
Howdy Matt and Fam! Thanks for the education and great shave set up. 👍🏼🤠👍🏼

Cracking video Matt. I do love it when you take the R41 for a spin.
Thank you, sorry for the late reply. It’s been insanely busy around here. The R41 is always a memorable shaves like walking on egg shells.
