Hi, I started drinking a tbsp of store bought ACV , for other reasons, and noticed a significant decrease in my hot flashes. Needless to say, that was a welcomed bonus!
Flaxseed, black eyed peas, green beans, collards, cabbage, chicken. It seems these kinds of foods help my hot flashes and gut. Also, walking 30-45 mins several days per week is great. Thank you.
I recommend my patients Planet Ayurveda's Naari Kalyan Churna, Coral Calcium Complex, Female Health support and Brahmi Capsules. These will help balance hormones and relax the mind.
At menopause your adrenals take over producing estrogen. If your adrenals are stressed from your life style like dieting and not eating animal fats, for the last 30 years for some people. Your diet new diet is a good change for most people. Meat has everything your body needs and some vegetables are goitrogens and are not good for your thyroid.
You're right that the adrenals take over producing oestrogen after menopause. Animal protein (meat) provides lots of nutrients. However we need a balance of different foods to get the full spectrum of nutrients we need. Meat has minimal if any, fibre, that vegetables provide. Also, not everyone is has thyroid issues and would otherwise benefit from cruciferous vegetables. This is the importance of personalised menopause care.
2 tablespoons of milled flax seeds a day literally has me almost cured from suffering from debilitating hot flashes for 8 years I have finally got relief after one month of taking two tablespoons of milled flaxseed a day it's absolutely incredible how much better I feel I was reading online there was a study where they said that it's not true well it is true mild flax seeds actually is saving my life as I type this message
Sorry to hear that your hot flushes are getting worse. How often are you exercising and how long are your fasts? One trigger for hot flushes is stress and it may be that you're doing too much?
These are fats that are beneficial for health such as avocado, olive oil and olive, butter, coconut oil, nuts and seeds, oily fish. These foods/fats provide sources of omega 3 fatty acids that may help brain function, hormone balance and improve hair, skin and nail condition during menopause.
I tried Maca, but I still sweat like a watermelon. Even when it's cool outside, I still sweat like crazy. Before this, I could barely break a sweat in my teens, 20s, 30s, and early 40s. Very scared. Never experienced anything like this before.
I'm sorry to hear you're struggling. There's so many things involved in this and it might be worth noting down what your triggers are and reduce or eliminate those. It's different for every woman. I hope the information in the video helps you.
My partner, sister and sister in law used, Organic Sulphur MSM Crystals/ coarse flakes, Organic acerola cherry powder (vitamin C), Organic ashwagandha root powder. Organic RED maca root powder. For 6-8 weeks and All the menopause symptoms STOPPED 100%. Let me know if you want more details.
I'm sorry to hear that you are suffering so much. Unfortunately I'm not able to provide individual advice without a consultation. I know nothing about you and may give incorrect advice. Have you seen your doctor?

Low-fat isn't the best option at menopause. Your brain and female hormones require good fats as their building block. You also need good fats that provide omega 3 fatty acids for healthy hair, skin and nails. There's a lot more factors that may need supporting when it comes to easing hot flashes and other menopause symptoms. Hope this helps 😃
Thank you for letting me know. Do you mean a video on why men get hot flushes or a video on hot flushes so men understand what their partners' are going through?

Yes, low sugar in the blood due to fasting can bring on a hot flash. It’s like you’re damned if you do, and you’re damned if you don’t.

I thought a low-fat whole food plant-based diet with the addition of soybeans would help with hot flashes the best way.
