nice run. I surprised you didn't use the savage slash move. Probably would have melted bosses unless that was a personal added stipulation. Anyways it's cool to see a rare game I own get some spotlight.
Probably one of my favorite PS1 game. In the game my favorite boss is Kraken or Scarabee but snake tail scared me when i was young. I know you finished the game but i give you 2 hints: First you can damage Beluga F until he have his HP to 50% Second: against Reactor Core you can reflect his energy orb Playing with 1 bar of energy...you're brave
The huge amount of bosses (and experimental feel a lot of them had, like Emperor Dragon and Gravity Core), stage design, and overall aesthetic here strongly reminds me of the kinds of games Treasure used to make.
While in game you can actually extend your life bars, 1-life challenge is truly made for Chads. Even a single mistake can cost you quite, so avoid making any mistakes by all means possible! > w
By the way, for those who truly wants some real challenges: - Set the game difficulty to the highest possible. - Set the Life Bar to 1(like Shadowserg did. Note that this will definitely make your run very challenging, since one mistake can cost you your only life. No room for mistakes therefore!) - For extra thrills, turn the Time Limit on. This will give you the Time Bonus for successful runs, but you'll be running on a borrowed time, so best hurry, but watch your footing as well! - Last but not least, find as many secrets as possible. Some bonus item points can only be found by slashing at specific spots, usually at the least explored places. If you somehow managed to finish each stages successfully under these conditions(without losing any Life Bars if you do happen to pick up extras), you'll earn a ⭐ Rank at the end of each stages. Best of luck, Striders! > w
One of my personal favorite hack n' slash games back in the PSX/PS1 era. Played it until I lost count, and still haven't got tired of it. It's just THAT awesome! > w < Magnificently done once again, my friend. And with that 1-life challenge, you also earn my utmost respect as well. That was, in fact, one of my personal challenge, for a true no-damage run!! X3
@@hieioni3354 Those times truly are the golden age of gaming. I was just a young boy when I got my very own PSX from my father(although before that, SNES is a much earlier game console I played on). By that time, I got to know Resident Evil 3, Ballistics and Raystorm. Probably other games as well, but being so young, my game collection took some time to grow.
I remember this came with the original arcade Strider on a second disc. I also don't remember the 4 Tail fights or the Drill Cruiser...did they leave that out on the NA version?
No, it was from the bonus level called Stage 0(El Dorado, to be exact). To gain access to it, you must first finish Strider 1 and retain the game save file. Upon playing Strider 2, you'll see it firsthand. Complete it and you'll be treated with additional lores on both Hien and Grandmaster Meio.
Shadowserg literally need to play the entire game mostly uncut, because there is just too many bosses to deal with, minor or major one. But i actually like this run!
you know, you could have finished some of these bosses much faster if you used midaregiri technique and maybe collect some boosts to give yourself homing slashes instead of simply attacking them with simple attacks(honest question, don't you find it tedious to fight them for so long?), it also helps with i-frame timing and even gives you extra points, especially since you are playing the one life mode
Almost great. But no timer no getting more points to reach 4 million points (get a star rank instead of "S"). When update to include mission zero and Hien playthrough...?

No way they turned Beluga into an attack helicopter.
22:22 why does the reactor core has a girl inside
If you finish Strider on PS1 you get acesss to an extra stage that reveals Hien revived Grandmaster Meio.
Yup. I did just that.
I just took a fart

Kinda feels like Osman(made by same people anyway)
That Life Bar is ridiculously small, leaves no room for errors.

And without getting health upgrades (life containers).

I like how that massive airship is powered by a single fish.
Yeah, and again, video game heroes can survive out in space without a space suit! It's video games--don't question it.
Nice work on this.

My first exposure to PS1 was Metal Slug, Resident Evil 2, Mortal Kombat 3 (I think) and Parasite Eve. Really love the aesthetics of the PS1 era.

@@GuardianOfTheHeaven I got PSX from my family when I was young too. I played Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot on it a lot. It was fun.
Cool, I wonder what the soundtrack to this game is li- *HUHHUHHUHHUHHUHHUHHUHHUHHUHHUHHUH-*
Your videos are so awesome sometimes I fall asleep because they so awesome!
Never heard of this game, i only know the character via Marvel vs Capcom 2...
This looks awesome and i want it now
It’s a shame they never have gave him an animated movie film, shit would have been badass 🤦🏿♂️
Herzog Schlange must be a HUGE DnD fan 🎲🗡🛡🐉
Kill bosses, get dat zenny.
Nice work

My Favorite Video Game 😃
My man out here really named “Tong Poo” 💀
Woman.
Were you expecting something else?
Very good graphics after all these years.
Best boss in the game, ventilator
5:36 This part has Castlevania vibes
I remember seeing my brothers play this game back when we rented it from an old video rental store as kids.
Shadowserg literally need to play the entire game mostly uncut, because there is just too many bosses to deal with, minor or major one. But i actually like this run!
I missed playing this back in the day.
Will you also do Hien gameplay as well?
A far better sequel to the original Strider than that lousy Eurotrash Strider Returns.
Alisa Chanel rank ⭐ Strider 2
Capcom is the arcade GOAT
excelente juegaso gracias
Cool game!!!
看到那藍色錢幣..就讓我想到大型電玩世界末日..
然後又點回開頭去看..不會是卡普空做的吧...還真的是卡普空...

jogão
Is Hien looking like Hinjo from the crap Genesis version of Strider 2 intentional?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Didn't you do a video for the first games bosses?
Also, can I talk to you on Gmail if you are willing to Shadowserg?
