One thing I'm wondering though... How are the spark plugs sealed so oil doesn't go into their housing? I just changed the spark plugs on my E430 and noticed some oil on about half of them. I know with other cars, there's a spark plug seal that you do along with the valve cover gasket, but didn't notice that happening here. Is it because they don't exist or you just didn't do them on this job? If they don't exist, what should I do to keep oil out of my new spark plugs?

You’re very welcome. There’s no spark plugs seals in this engine. Spark Plugs mount directly to the cyl head so once you do the valve cover gasket, you should be good. Thank you for watching and I do appreciate your comment. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

May I ask the after market gasket part number? BTW, silicon you are referring is same as silicon paste?
That gasket was actually an original dealer item wasn’t aftermarket. What I meant by silicon is Gasket maker RTV. Thank you for watching

Man I just bought a 430 today! Year 2000 will get to drive it tomorrow! So pumped. Crazy is I got it from the auction and one of the catalytic is missing smh

Hey hopefully this comment still reaches you I had a couple question, I have a 2002 Benz e430 with a blown out head gasket, if I fixed what you did in this video would that work for my car, and if yes could you link the part that you purchased, thank you in advance!
That video is only for a valve cover gasket. Head gasket, is a lot more involved. It’s a much bigger job. Thank you for watching.
I have a e420 and the plastic inside valve cover underneath breather hose is broken can't find the part

When u dont show all the steps😅. Doesnt say the bolt sizes/doesnt mention bolts that he has already taken off. Nearly ripped off 2 sensors and im not even 5 minutes into the vid.
