I mean that’s not really the point, by that logic the only use for higher end watch brands is to flex, people just like watches, myself included. I mean you could just check your phone for the time but it’s just nice to have a watch on
@@georged7059 what I’m saying is that before cell phones watches were much more used and popular, especially Timex for the regular person. Now with cell phones and “smart” watches, analogue, and digital, wrist watches are still useful but now more of a passion. So the marketing and interest has shifted. 😀 Yes, me included. I enjoy wearing a wrist watch more than jewelry.
I bought a similar Timex with the number T40011 for my wife in 2020. The battery is still working and it is a robust little watch. No complaints.
I have a TIMEX 40mm Field Expedition with the green nato strap and I love it.
I wore a Timex watch when i was at school, many many years ago.
I own a vintage Marlin & an Allied Coastline. Both are fine watches.
I find timex watches are underrated, as they have a good battery life and easy to clean up and to restor to look new.
Got it. Have to keep it in a draw over night, its soo loud!
Timex was useful brand of watch before cell phones and smart watches.

I'll stay with my analog watches over your "smart watches" any day.
Is it as loud as the standard explorer?
Keep your hands still, calm down.
You sound like my primary school report cards.
For me the idea of a field watch is to be rugged and take a beating. This has already failed lol 😂
It took me 30 seconds to remove the scratches with some polywatch. I'm just glad it's not mineral. Hate those things
@@TalkingTickers oh that’s pretty cool tbh.
Should be solar.
❤❤❤❤❤
This watch is really nothing special, I go to TK MAX every week and regular see identical watches for £30
There are simply no Timex watches worth buying, period!!
Ever buy one? Explain your post.
