About Life In Farmland: Our family strives to be as self-sufficient as we can be. We grow a lot of food in the garden, raise or hunt for our meat, cut and use firewood to heat our house in the cold Minnesota winters. We want to know where our food comes from, what goes into it. We strive to live a slower and sustainable lifestyle with family being our first priority. On this channel, you will find a lot of how-tos, shared experiences, recipes, and videos of things we are trying and learning more about. - Хобби
good chat and are you ready for your last taste of WINTER
I would have put the bead on that coyote, then take a picture.
Very nice piano music,
Drill in frost with 1/2" × 12" bit.use hammer function on cordless drill.
If you leave posts in past freezing like I recently did, the cows use them to scratch and snap them off. You can drill next to them and then pull them out.
who chooses the music it's very relaxing
Good clean info, enjoyed seeing your process this time of year. Thanks!
Love the Premier fencing (I use it with my sheep)
Missing your videos
good day to you Eric & Family !! thanks for sharing your adventures and update on & off the farm 🏡🏗️🛠️
We pile our chickewn poop in the selected plant area in the fall and let the rain leach out the bad stuff all winter. Makes for GREAT planting .
Great video, glad you got the fencing up and will keep the coyote away from the chickens. Thanks for sharing.
Do you feed and water inside the Chickshaw or outside? My birds are about two months old and still getting used to living outside. If you could have seen the adventure we had last night trying to get the last bird in....any tips on that would be awesome too! You're the man!
Lol been there. Yeah since switched the water system we have been feeding them in the coop
Hear in N E Pa our rain is very acidic We should lime yearly I bought my third pellitized bag today from Agway
Premiere fencing is a go to for many. I myself like the poultry fencing for most livestock. The hog quick fence is not my fav. Thanks for the soil test reminder. I usually get too busy and it falls to the next year. Stay safe and warm...early April is so very fickle. Are you in the blizzard warning area??😐
Snow could be coming. I think they are saying up to 15".
@@LifeinFarmland oh my. Shovels ready? ;)

I'm curious. Do you grow your corn in the same spot in your garden or rotate it around?
We rotate it
