This thing really likes to be rhythmic. Recently got a Tempi, and just sending gates from it to various places on the 0-coast really makes it come alive. Fun stuff!
Two things - this is am amazing synth - very capable.... And our wonderful explainer is awesome at helping you understand what is going on. These two together can really inspire you...
Hi MAKEN0ISE! Please tell me if I can pass my 0 Coast through the Moog Werkstatt filter. Moog has both an input and an output of the filter!) but I don’t understand if there is an opportunity (
Should be fine. Werkstatt appears to use typical Eurorack signal levels on the i/o of the expander. Try patching the line out of the 0-Coast to the filter input first. If it isn't loud enough use the Dynamic output.
yeah me too, any luck? Just the first patch from clock to gate yields a sound probably 4 octaves higher (a beep), not the bass note he's getting. pitch is set to its lowest.
On Program pages 4 and 5, set the CV or Gate to LFO by pressing PGM_B until the PGM_B button flashes. See the Program Pages video playlist for maximum detail.
This is like, the nerdiest rap over the oddest beat ever! I like it 👌
I’ve watched so many of these vids that when I read the manual I hear it in Walkers voice

*sighs and opens up wallet*
That's exactly what I did. I saw this thing, I went to Control Voltage in Portland, and did exactly that.
Theta Flux hahaha, I laughed at this for a solid minute
I know the feeling
i would love to see as much patch of the week for the shared system too.
I really should work my way through all these patches. Thank you for sharing these for our benefit.
This instrument is like the Pandora's box of electronic wonders!
It's decided, going to be my next module
It will be best friend to my morphagene, they will make cute little babies 👶💕
I'm not convinced I could dance to that
lmao
Lovely 🥰

Now I wonder how to recreate this in Ableton Operator

Hi Make Noise team,

Many thanks Nigel
You sound like demetri Martin

Should I get one of these?
I did, very happy I am too
we need a beat
im doing the EXACT same patch but cant get it to sound anything like that....

executing a factory reset fixed it ... no clue what I had fuzzed up in the config. oh well.
same here. I feel like I'm being gaslighted lol. I checked every cable and knob position over and over but sounds nothing alike.
Hey there, send a short video of your patch attempt to technical@makenoisemusic.com and we will see if we can help you figure it out!
can't imagine this patch on impressive sound system
Snug Nug Pillows it’s pretty cool coming through the stereo system in my living room.
ruclips.net/video/3toXKpQqPy4/видео.html dumb question, but how did u set midi b cv to lfo? thnx for the vids btw!

Are you triggering 16th notes via midi here?
No, MIDI input is not in use here, it's the 0-Coast's internal clock. You could certainly do the same patch using MIDI events if you wanted to though.
i created this patch but i sounds like garbage like most all sounds create with this hipster noise maker
A bit of a stretch to call it techno even by ultra-minimalist standards, but it'd be a good bassline.
exactly
A techno beat? you dont go out too much, do you? :D
Anyways the patch is great, whatever it is!
