I am SERIOUSLY thinking about buying this. I want to do my podcast with adding guests and I can see that this can do that! But can this app allow me to do a screenshare for when I want to share pictures, other videos or things like that??
Thanks for introducing us to Descript and Squadcast. Quick question- how do I add music or only export the audio of my recording to streaming sites like Spotify?
Question - How once you finished recording, how do you make it so that you can post it on instagram as a reel but stacked vertically (both videos stacked ontop of each other)?
I am signed up with descript and when i go to Squadcast and try to find an alternate camera to my macbook, there is no option to connect to my iphone camera. Does someone know why this might be the case?
Can Squadcast with Descript be used on or with Riverside on Spotify? Thank you. Also, whats a good camera to use for podcasting form my computer that wont show the glare of my eye glasses, please? thank you.
@@TheBeforeYouDoPodcast-j4r Squadcast and Riverside fm are both solutions to record remotely with guests or your cohost. A good camera for beginners is the Sony ZV1 or ZV E10. To avoid glare place the lights above you instead of shining directly on you. I hope this helps ☺️
When you’re interviewing a guest and you want to bring up a graphic, pdf, or keynote presentation, how do you do that and still record yourself and your guest while also recording the graphic?
Work with what you have at first, it’s okay. I’ve heard that from other creators. To me it looked like they made it a point to change to the external camera and microphone to show that you might have to do some basic IT for your guest and to show how to change settings. Just my 2 cents
@theodra94 true. When u start and have no means or just don't wanna spend money on an experiment you use what you have. Of course quality won't be crispy but we all start somewhere
Have you tried Squadcast with Descript yet, sign up for free here: www.podsoundschool.com/descript
Y'all are the best.
Thank you, Ariel!

Helpful video.
Glad you thought so. Are you starting a video podcast soon?

Could you use your phone instead of laptop computer?
I want to ask should our guest also need same software.
Great question! No. Your guest just needs the link to join the studio, microphone and good lighting.
Is this a mobile app aswell?
Thanks for this video on how to go about recording remove video podcast interviews.👍🎙
What app are you using for screen recording?
Hey there. I used Descript. I also use Screenflow.
@@psscreativemedia So is Descript as a screen recorder a better way to do it, or ScreenFlow?
ScreenFlow looked really costly
What interface are you using with the Shure Sm7b? Are you using one that doesn't require a separate preamp?

Thank you for this insight. Can you recommend a mobile app for remote podcast? Thank you
SquadCast by Descript
Can you use virtual backgrounds?
Great show…Do you both have to have the software? 🥂
No, you don’t.
Thank you 😊
Does this video option work with trying to duo record with someone in another country?
Absolutely! From any place in the world as long as you have internet connection
What if your guest only had their cell phone available? Are they able to join via the phone web browser?

What if you want to interview someone who does not have Squad Cast but only have a Cell phone or Zoom
What if you don’t have an external mic and can’t afford an external camera?
