- A friend and I decided to check out my log cabin by the river. A lot of snow had fallen, but that didn't stop us from reaching our destination. The overnight stay went well.

Dima My Friend it is good to see you again !!! Needed this a lot!!! My Hubby always knew when I needed to think or was stress out I needed to watch sawing or logs burning yesterday I watched logs burning today it is with you sawing logs !!! I thank you for this!!! It is like doing it again for myself !!! Have been thinking of going away for awhile not from logs burning or sawing it helps me to think more clearly then putting things into the order that they need to be put into!!! I think you might understand that !!!

How great it is to be out in nature! It's so beautiful, there's nowhere you can rest as much mentally as in the fresh air, away from civilization.

Greetings, Im an 70 year old natve, I live on a reservation in South Dakota. I love your builds and videos very much. But one area your better then all is in the cooking department. Cut up firewood ahead of time, so you don’t have to go out and do this every time!! Plus, it will dry more if stored inside and split. I never understand why anyone would trudge through deep snow and then spend so much time cutting up firewood for when you first get there. Do it ahead for the next trip in…everytime. Planning is everything. That crunch in the snow makes me so cold!!! That’s cold when that happens! Cozy place.
I just shoveled 16 inches of new snow this morning !!! Couldn't even get out my front door from the 40 inch drift 😆

It gets down into the low 30s F where I live but I wear layers of wool and cotton and it works pretty good, no frostbite yet.👍

Thats exactly why my parents moved us to Florida. I never got to see snow till I was in my 30s... I dont want to live in it I just want to play in it... stay warm :)

I enjoyed watching your adventure very much. It is August now and the temperature is 100 with high humidity here in South Carolina. I needed a break from the heat so I watched your video to cool off. Of course, in the winter I'll watch summer videos to warm up! That's how we are, is it not? We complain it's hot in summer and complain some more that it is cold in winter. But, if we had weather in the middle - not to hot or cold - we would complain the weather is boring. Humans are fickle animals.

why not use tire chains? this is the type of thing chains were designed for. also, why have such short hair? grow it a little before taking on the elements. hair helps SO much in the winter.
Instead of shoving the snow away you should have put it around the cabin it would help insulate it.
