Thanks for the comment! And yes I do agree Hobbywing is good and no, if it does go out and I cant fix the issue i'll try but if I cant I won't throw it out. But with my nitro 8ight its just sitting on a shelf right now but at some point I will rebuild the rear and sell it on but for now I need to save up some cash first.
hey thanks for the comment! And yeah TLR even admitted that they were designed to be both because they noticed that many people were bashing them almost the same amount as the people who race them but I know that my 8ight T is a great basher but one day I will do a full switch to Mugen but I want to make the Losi work out as much as I can until it gives out.
I see a lot of people with sensored systems and I can't find one person that can explain how that will benefit the average person for racing. I can see a crawler , but most races are at mid to high speed so the motor will not slow down enough to need to find its location. Even worst that sensored systems cost twice as much and must be soldered manually. Do you know anyone that can explain the benefits of a sensored system?
Personally I don’t see the significant benefits of running a sensored system. I think the only thing that it improves is the way that the motor drives the car. I also found it interesting that my friend Andrew who is a racer who uses sensored systems took off the sensor wire and when he drove it he did not notice any significant changes to the way the car drives. If you’re not a serious racer I wouldn’t worry about having a sensor wire too much.
If I had one, It probably look exactly like yours. Reliable and used. I like Hobbywing. Never trash a hobby rc. They can always be rebuilt.

Looks good to me 👍
Do you know the part numbers for the shock towers that you added? Losi website is not showing anything for the 8e.
Todd Williams you can find them in the exploded view manual on horizon hobby
Castle motor 2200kv..will that hit 100 mph? Is it a Castle 1517 2200 kv or?
I don't doubt that the motor I used in that car could would hit 100 if you set it up right
