Whoa...14 Decks? Is that normal? Never really paid attention to how many decks a ship had, but 14 sounds huge!😂 The view from the aft of the ship is stunning. Very cool looking library. The crows nest looks amazing especially with that view. I think that staircase leads down. I think.🤔😋 Ouuu...love the buffet! Definitely plenty of stations. The Glass House is Incredible. Looks very elegant. Geez...you can definitely can get your steps in on this ship.😮 So humongous. At least that's what it looks like to me. Lol Another excellent tour, my friend! You're tops, Buddy. Thank you for sharing!👍
@@KenGoesCruising I really wish I had more time to spend onboard as we had a wonderful time. I enjoyed this ship far more than Iona which was just too large. Many thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it.
I'm thinking the stairs down from The Crow's Nest might have been to the bridge, and that the second Medina entrance was closed to make it easier on staff to allocate seating. 🤷🏻♀️ It'd be harder if guests were arriving from several directions. Seemed that working in Carmen's is one of the plum jobs. The staff in there (and even those cleaning just outside) seemed to love the live music I really liked this ship too, although as a quiet and boring lump, I didn't visit many of the venues. 😂 You didn't catch my friend on this one, but maybe I'll spot him in the food one in Alexandria or the buffet. 😉
@@LibbyRoseEmbroidery That’s a good call, I did wonder if having 2 entrances would have been an issue. I need to go down and see where that Crow’s Nest staircase goes 😉 Carmens is a fantastic venue, I’d be happy enough to work there too. Maybe try some of the venues on your next cruise, some are far quieter than others. That’s a shame, fingers crossed for either the Dining Review or in the Vlogs 🤞 Many thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it.
@ALifeintheParks I don't know if we'll have another cruise as I'm apparently a poor sailor 🤢 amongst other problems, so we did tend to do dinner, one set of the band at Carmen's, then the 8.30 Curzon show and bed. 😕 Someone caught my young friend on their vlog of the very next cruise to us (so 2 after yours). They were at the next table on from us and got him walking across. 🤣 👩🏻🦱🫱🏻🫲🏽🤵🏾♂️
@@ALifeintheParks A bit, yes. I can manage normal to light movement without trouble, but when it got rough returning from Iceland and esp on the high speed (prob no stabilisers) one day passage from Norway to Iceland, I had a lot of nausea and dizziness. Thankfully, we had a midships cabin. 👍🏻 Other than that, I have chronic exhaustion, which means I can feel the ship's vibration esp in bed, and it's hard to rest. Then, of course, some idiot had to stay up to see the midnight sun... 🤦🏻♀️ I need to manage it better. 😬 Maybe one day.....😉
@ I would suggest trying either the wristbands or tablets that I’ve heard can help. I would also say that the Caribbean or the Mediterranean which don’t usually have to much movement (not during hurricane season of course!)
Yes, I’ve heard the refit is going to be focused on new furniture rather than a wider overhaul but it’ll be very interesting to see what they actually do. Many thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it 👍
Fantastic tour of the ship! Very thorough and helpful to plan. You are making me miss cruising big time 😂 P&O is not a line I’ve heard of frequently other than your channel! We are looking for a “quieter” cruise than our last royal one for our next one … someday! Haha!
P&O is mainly for us Brits but it’s similar to Princess, both are Carnival brands but are far more relaxed that the wild cruises that Carnival run!! Many thanks for all your support, I really appreciate it. Hopefully you’ll be back sailing in the not too distant future 🤞
Thanks for sharing guys! I'm not sure why we have never cruised on P&O, maybe i sailed on too many P&O ferries when I was younger! Their new ships are magnfiicent tho! 👋👍
Ha ha! I’m not sure that the ferries are quite the same!! I would say that there’s quite a difference between the smaller older ships and the huge modern ones. Hopefully you’ll get to try one of them out. Many thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Great tour! I wonder why they didn't retract the roof over the pool? Is it only during certain times of the year? Looks like a beautiful ship though. I just made my appointment to renew my passport! I want to get back to cruising, you have been tempting me! Thank you for sharing!
@@joannsalas My gut feeling is that opening and closing the roof is probably too much hassle more than anything. I’m very pleased to hear that, get out and see the world and it’s easier to do on a cruise ship. Many thanks for watching and commenting 👍
