My own favourite of the P&O fleet. She's just the right size: not too big and impersonal and Americanised like her newer sisters yet still big enough to give one all of the amenities one needs in superb comfort and style..
What a great video! We are very loyal to Cunard but have been on Arcadia a few times and really enjoyed her. We went on Iona earlier in the year and would now only ever do an adults only P&O ship, so we will definitely give Aurora a try 😊
Loved this video. Brilliant look around and pace is fab. Well done. My friend Dorothy and I are on Aurora in 3 weeks time and after your video i cant wait.
Went on the Aurora years ago. We are looking at booking to go on her again next year on the transatlantic cruise to canada. We are off on the ventura next weekend.
Appears more of an old school Ocean Liner than a modern cruise ship, which makes her far more interesting. I’m on her for 9 weeks from early January and very much looking forward to it.
Thanks for watching our Aurora ship tour! We hope it has been useful and if you have any questions let us know below :) We also have lots of Aurora content on our website. Check it out here: www.georgeanddan.com/poaurora
Really enjoyed the video. We are looking to travel to the Baltics in the summer and one of the options is travelling on this ship. After 20+ cruises mainly with P&O and Princess and being disappointed nowdays with the larger ships (Looking at you Iona) it might be nice to travel on a smaller more intimate vessel.
Thank you SO much for this! Have been eyeing up a Northern Lights cruise on her, going on a Fjord Cruise on Britannia in a couple of weeks time so may try and sneak down to future cruises to try and get some money off the Northern Lights cruise! Looks like a lovely ship to me and much better than Arcadia!
It’s a bit dated now, but it’s not a Nissan micra which you can afford to scrap after 20 years. It’s a cosy ship which has its Merrits I was on Brittania over last xmas holidays and with the number of chavs onboard it felt like I was in Benidorm. If this ship can repel chavs I’d happily book a cruise on it any day.
Thanks for this. Eyeing up a Norway deal in March 2024. I love the traditional shop and this size. Found Iona though beautiful, too big and hopeless for seating on sea days. It's class was juts 'too big' and we are unlikely to repeat. Apart from a iona, it's always been Princess for us.
Iona is a very large ship, Aurora was definitely more intimate and less busy. Although we only took a short cruise onboard Aurora so she sailed at capacity.
Booked on Aurora for Oct/Nov 2025. Got a while to wait but I was curious as to what it looked like. Previously cruised on Oriana and Azura. Both amazing ships. But first, on Iona next year xxx
With how fast this year is going 2025 will be here in no time! Ah Iona is a great ship too, a completely different ship to Aurora, but we love them both! 😊
Great video boys, very well filmed. Pity that the Subtitles misinterpreted some of the words that were used in the commentary !! Keep up the good work that you do.
Sorry for the late reply! Thank you so much for watching. We try to catch most of the subtitles, but sadly some slip through - especially when RUclips takes “P&O” as “piano” haha.
Can you tell me is this a recent cruise that you have been on? We have recently been on Iona and Arvia and the food in the Glasshouse and the Beach House are not the same. We didn't enjoy the food in either of those restaurants on Iona and Arvia. We are on Aurora in August and would definitely visit the Glasshouse and the Beach House.
Why do bloggers here keep referring to food such as in the buffet as complimentary when it is not complimentary? Complimentary means free all the food you have paid for in your cruise fare so is not complimentary. Then there is the food you pay extra for,
Not sure why some may say that. Fortunately, we do not. We include a handy graphic showing what is ‘included’ and what is an ‘extra charge’. Thanks for watching :)

just back from fab cruise holiday on Aurora. The ship is fab and staff outstanding. Was great and we have booed again.
Great review of this beautiful ship which I am sailing on in June. Thank you guys
My son is one of the musicians on her.
Thank you for your comment 😊 Hope you have a great trip!
Thanks Lads
Our pleasure!
Great ship. Stayed on here a few years ago when she was still a family ship. Had a great time.
Great thanks guys. We love your videos
Thank you so much for watching 😊

Thank you so much! We have our first sailing with Cunard in June and cannot wait!
We are thinking about our first cruise and this video has been a great help, thank you for sharing.
Thankyou so much. The Aurora will be my first cruise. This is invaluable information.
Going on this ship in July for the Norwegian Fjords cruise, cannot wait now 😊
Well done tour. Very good editing overall. Thanks for the information :)
Thanks for the kind words and watching :)

Literally going on this ship in one week! 🎉

Great thankyou. I love that you’ve shown food with price. We definitely going to book for next year. Only query is when do the pools open and close

Would love to do a Northern Lights cruise, Aurora would be very good for that. Hope you have an amazing time in the Fjords!

Great ship tour! Thanks for posting, guys. We’re considering Aurora for a short cruise this summer to close out a long trip to Europe.
Thanks for watching :)
It's a nice classic ship, definitely worth a cruise!
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻

Happy cruising for your future cruises too ☺️
Aurora is our favourite ship in the p&o fleet.
A great video but I like to hear the sounds in the ship

Great vlog, is there a smoking area.
Hey, I believe there were too. A large one on the port side promenade deck 7, and I’m sure the other was port side of the riviera pool deck 12.

Yes, this footage was taken in March 2023. We enjoyed most of the food with the Glasshouse as our favourite. Hope you have a great time in August!
@@GeorgeandDan Thank you for the info, we will definitely visit the Glass House in August
What is the salary of galley utility in p&0
See now this looks like a ship not those blown up ship steroid monstrosety's that Royal Carribbean have built
