Literally cannot wish more success on Chris and Bryce (as well as Ben and Andrew). SOI are really amazing, and Currents is my favourite band. Everyone in SOI (and Currents as well) are the nicest and most humble people. They really deserve all the success in the world
@prestonhawk8096 Same at the KS show. I didn't know until right before their set, I was so bummed but at the same time they were so good it wasn't too upsetting. We even cheered for one more song but they wouldn't do it lol
Even tho I wish Ben had been one of the guests, this absolutely more than made up for it. Bryce with the intro accent bit was hysterical! You and him basically had a bromance this whole episode 😂
Chris is a damn nasty songwriter and guitarist, and Bryce is such an amazing drummer. But they are even better people! Such a fun genuine interview, great work Craig 🫡
I'm a simple man, I see a downbeat episode release just before I go to bed so I download and listen to go to sleep and the next day I come over to RUclips to give it my full attention gotta support anyway I can
I loved bryce before watching this but after I love him even more. The man is an animal. Plays the soi sets which are difficult as fuck on no food while stoned. Then he also played soi and whitechapel in one night then he was also playing 5 sets in one night when he was younger and was playing drums at 2. Yes Chris and Ben are some of the best out there but put some mf respect on bryces name godamn
I wondered how any episode could follow Mario’s because it was so awesome, but this was super fun and Bryce especially was cool to listen to, almost the exact opposite mindset to Mario but obviously just as much of a beast on the kit!
First time listening to an entire podcast, and now all I want to do is listen to this instead of going to sleep haha. love your content man, keep it up!
I’d not heard of Shadow of Intent until this episode. I’ve got some catching up to do. Bryce is a fucking monster. They sound proper good lads. Peace ✌🏻 The Laid to Rest cover… Oooft Get the OG, Nick Barker in. That’d be sick.
I know this is 1 year after @Craig Reynolds but Dimmu Borgir live from Oslo is a pro shot. 92 people on stage. Best Norwegian symphony and the Norwegian opera choir. It's a 1 hour special event
i want to hang out with these guys and smoke out the drummer (i'm high and have been watching this across a few days and forgot whether chris smokes) - they seem so nice!
You gotta get past the stage of your imagination running wild... damn I always thought y'all were tripping all the time... I haven't tried it since I started writing stuff and I think it's necessary for putting music together because that seems to be the absolute most difficult part for me!
Craig, I love you. But Geography isn't your strong suit here, is it? Cheshire is South of Manchester, and where I currently reside (Half Glaswegian, half Mancunian, whole muppet)
Cheshire is where posh people from Liverpool or Manchester live to pretend they're not from Liverpool or Manchester. It's okay Craig you are a southerner so I know anything north of Watford Gap is hard for you.
Here's the overwhelming demand: Your intros are good. Please proceed.
Totally agree.
ENDORSED
Do it!

"My parents love music but they're not musicians, so I have to warm up." That cracked me up
YES, an interview with two of my faves. Chris Shadow and Bryce of Intent always deliver.
Bryce is GOATED. I love the guy. His energy rules and this was a great episode.
Bryce comes across as the loveliest guy to be around and Chris is an absolute machine, love these guys
I caught Shadow in KS last summer. Bryce played their set, and then also filled in for Whitechapel's set immediately after. What an animal
I was at the show the very next day in Oklahoma. Ben Duerr was apparently in the hospital but they still kicked ass

Intros are full of comedic masterpieces man, lets bring em back
Holy shit, that accent is scary good 😂😂😂
I agree. It was very smooth. I wanna hear Craig do an American accent, has he done that in a video yet? I’m fairly new here
Innit?
ISSS ITTT??
Chris is a damn nasty songwriter and guitarist, and Bryce is such an amazing drummer. But they are even better people! Such a fun genuine interview, great work Craig 🫡

Bryce and Chris are 2 of the most talented, nicest dudes in the scene right now. So glad to know these dudes and very stoked to tour with them more
Great chat! Been playing their recent album in the gym today 🤘🏻
First time listening to an entire podcast, and now all I want to do is listen to this instead of going to sleep haha. love your content man, keep it up!
i was wondering "what band sucked and had fake guitars?" and then remembered The Haarp Machine
I remember meeting Bryce back when he was filling in for 2x4. Solid ass guy. Deserves the world
So fucking stoked to see Bryce doing big things.

Love how much he cracks Bryce up
That Akira poster is absolutely sick
Great episode. Bryce is such a good dude.

This is like my third episode today. Thank you guys for making such great music !I love listening to the nerd shit.
Killer intro. The intro alone made this episode my favorite. Love Bryce and Chris too!
Another spot on banger of an episode! Fuckin love this shit Craig!
I don’t laugh a lot but that thomas long dream had me rolling!

literally pitch fork and Molotov in hand marching for this intro right now
I went to the Lorna Shore show they were talking about, bodysnatcher, Brand of Sacrifice, they were all dope!
Bryce is fucking hilarious 😂
i want to hang out with these guys and smoke out the drummer (i'm high and have been watching this across a few days and forgot whether chris smokes) - they seem so nice!
I'm sorry Bryce and Chris are 29 and 30?
I thought they were both like 24-25 max
lmao HAARP getting ripped 😂
SOI is my favorite band. I wish i could do dabs with Ben and Bryce
Keep the intros, ignore the hate they are great

I want to hear craig say ' a bri'ish me'al band''

Nice, Nando's representing!
Bryce looks like the raddest dude!

USA stands in solidarity with Australia on this one...
React to Eddy Thrower Zildjian Vault Performance
20:50 a little Arthur Shelby just came out of him
Bryce talking about food and caffeine kinda made me worried
Damn Bryce is a big poutine fan eh!

Lets be real, im late to the party here listening for the first time. I know, im sorry. But Cheshire is nowhere near Newcastle.
🤘🏻
1:40:56 Funny asf
Do a 10 minute silent intro
CONNECTICUT MENTIONED 🎉 GO UCONN
You should pause the interviews like you do with the drum reaction vids. That’s the shit the fans want. Just learn how to do those cheeky edits(:
Craig, I love you. But Geography isn't your strong suit here, is it? Cheshire is South of Manchester, and where I currently reside (Half Glaswegian, half Mancunian, whole muppet)
I learned from hollyoaks
@@reynlord666 aye, Chester is Cheshire
