@@lite403 Hi! From my understanding they are vegan, and vegetable-derived. Naturally derived ingredients are widely used in natural hair care, but it is a difficult conversation. The talk around what is considered “natural” is complex. 💜💜
I have literally watched this video over and over and over since it came out 8 months ago, and I FINALLY received the ice restore at home and made the conditioner tonight. I infused my water with chai, lemongrass, rosemary and sage teas (trying to get rid of many random ones that were ending in my pantry lol). Added olive oil as a carrier oil, tea tree for my scalp & preservative. I am OBSESSED! Thank you thank you thank you for putting this up for us to get into the realm of homemade conditioners. As you said, conditioner is a hard formula to break into as a beginner because it’s so complex. I have been wanting to do this for years, because conditioning my hair is such a product suck and I deep condition so often that I needed a cost-effective, lower carbon footprint and more effective option to condition my hair. This is a game changer for me, and I am very very grateful. Happy new year and I can’t wait for your next video :)
The star ingredient in this hair restore product, is definitely the polyquaternium 37. It's absolutely lovely for us who have wavy, or currently hair. It's in so much hair products meant for us curly gals. It doesn't build up in the hair like polyquaternium 10 does.. its absolutely fantastic! I fell in love with it so much, I recently ordered 5kg of polyquaternium 37 to make my own hair restore. Buying from making cosmetics can be quite expensive. So after the first 17 oz bag of hair restore I bought from them.. I made my own!
The color from pink deep conditioner caught my attention. The basis conditioner does not have any harmful ingredients right . I normally use shea butter as a base. Thx for sharing.
natural ingredients helped me a lot to grow my hair fast after i did my big chop. i use cloves , aloe vera, funegreek n others in most of my home made natural recipe videos I upload on my channel to grow my hair . this is a great recipe due to the ingredients. i will try this. thanks for sharing.
I keep seeing your comments on many natural hair content creators channels. They are about the same plus or minus a few words. You ALWAYS mention your channel tho. Seems as if you're advertising and promoting your channel under the cover of a related comment. I can't be the only one who's seeing this and has figured it out. 👀 👀 👀 Why not just ask the creators if you can promote your channel on their channel. Maybe do a proper collaboration like a lot of them do. It's HONEST and great for both parties. Would you want someone to get on your channel and be underhanded and sneaky and do it to you? I'm guessing NOT. 🚫 You would probably be offended. Please show some respect for creators hard work. 🤨 Build your channel HONESTLY and God will Bless it. But if you don't it will certainly fail.
I love this thank you so much. I bought this ingredient a while ago and I haven't really played with it yet. But after seeing how easy. I'm going to do my conditioners tonight.🎉
First of all, thank youuuuu so much because I've been trying to get a better base for my deep conditioners. All those times I missed up products using the beads, I wish I would've known about the powder form. Thank you so much for sharing this info because people be stingy when you ask what you can use for your products.
What type of preservative? Do you always stick with the optiphen? Would that be good to use in a water based solution or is it fine cause of the oils we add? Thanks! ❤😊
These are simply beautiful! What is the recommended time to be left on the hair before rinsing out? What preservative would you recommend? Thank you for sharing!!
Please Yaya, thanks so much for this deep conditioner steps made easy. But my question is, where can I get this ingredient because I'm in Nigeria. How do I get it?
I definitely have to try this, I make a Hibiscus Rose deep Conditioner and it has so many steps 😑 I would love to try this on my hair and see the difference. I really enjoy your videos.
I used Phenoxyethanol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin, but you can use any water soluble preservative. You can also add it straight into the water since it’s cold process. 💜😊
Less time on my back and feet!🙇🏽♀️ Thanxx A Bunch For Sharing!🤗🥰 Can you share the link for the moringa infused oil because it’s not up top or in the description!🤗
Happy to help! The DIY Moringa Infused oil is in the DIY Moringa Hair Butter video. I am thinking about making a separate video for it. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/w1h5k5ocoik/видео.html. 😊💜
I’m definitely making this. I didn’t want to do it scratch at all lol 😂. This is it and I’m going to add this my hair collection and I will tag you and give you a shout out for this. Thank you
Thank for this video! I just tried making a deep conditioner that came out watery, so I'm going to use it as a leave in instead. This will make the process easier!
Thank you for watching. You can definitely add/subtract water to control the viscosity. However. I believe this ingredient is meant to be used in wash-off application. I will look it up to be sure. 😊💜

Yes, I've done some research on it and you can lower the percentage to make it looser..1% up to 3.5% for spray on or leave in conditioners (even skin lotion/creams too). Basically the higher the increment the thicker it is. So you can work it out to your liking. I'm based in the UK and I'm ordering this base to reformulate the products I currently make and sell.
I live in the Netherlands . Ice Hair restore is unfortunately not available here or is not shipped to the Netherlands. How do I get this product? Are there alternatives?
Thank you so much for this recipe! When you say add more water. Do you up the percentage of water and recalculate or just literally add more water after the original recipe. I know normally we always =100% but you mention you added more water in the video after it was made. Now blanking out and I'm confused 🤦🏽♀️
What can I use in place of the immersion blender, can I use handwhisk, and can you do a video like this for conditioner, shampoo and leave in conditioner that are moisturizing and nonprotein
