Good for you! Analogue Photography makes you slow down and smell the roses, life is too fast these days, mellow out with a good landscape and a great film camera. Next stop, black and white film and developing your own!
Hey Andrew cheers man. It sure does, loving the process so far :) The next video coming is actually a photo vlog with B&W film haha I'm just learning with every roll at the minute, trying to get the best results possible but maybe sometime I'll try developing my own. Cheers for watching ✌
You did a great job documenting the thrill and excitement of waiting to receive a new film camera. TLRs are definitely really fun to use, and a cool statement piece to boot. Going to hop onto part 2 now.
Hey :) Thanks very much appreciate that, glad you liked it. I love older stuff like cars etc so owning a camera that old that can style take amazing photos is super cool. Hope you like part two it is a little long haha
Awesome! That thing looks so cool! We take for granted the tools that are built into the digital camera, but you are about to experience true control over your images. Congrats! Looking forward to seeing the process!
Thanks Jon! I'll never get sick of looking at it that's for sure haha Yeah you're definitely right there, it's such a slow satisfying process. Love that it's all totally mechanical too. Might take a few rolls before I figure things out properly though, but I'll enjoy the process.
I started out with 35mm slr cameras, and then moved up to medium format first with an old Rolleicord and then a Yashica Mat. Never looked back. I shot with Kodak Trix and still do. Good luck with your journey.
Hey Neil, oh really that's cool. There is something so enjoyable about using an old fully mechanical TLR that is quite satisfying isn't there. I have heard good stuff about Tri X I will have to give it a go at some point. Thanks very much man appreciate it, hope you enjoy the videos to come ✌
I bought one back in 2018! Never used it! I just used it a few months ago! Honestly I didn’t do so bad on my first pictures.. I did have a little over exposure on some film and some were blurry!
Hey Miguel! Oh really, well hope you enjoyed using it for the first time. It definitely takes a little getting used to but once you figure out how to get it right you can get some amazing photos with it.
I love documenting things like this & I hope you guys enjoy watching. Part II coming soon

@@MacnTeensVisuals I'll have to get my hands on one!
Are you square enough for square format photography?
I guess time will tell 😂
