She got all this hate when she was casted and I was one of the few advocating to give her a chance. seeing the performance she did and how she encompassed Diana in a way that people compared to RDJ with Tony Stark, makes me happy.

EPIC HAL: I recommended revisiting MoS for not 'universe building', just to be able to compare with WW more closely. Wonder Woman has more problems (weaker CGI effect, weaker villain, weaker supporting cast, weaker acting from Gal Gadot than Cavill etc), more plot holes than WW. But WW got better critical reception because there were more JOKES in it (tried to copy Marvel) although this movie took place in a serious time WW1.
BDTiger 07 Disagreed on that, comparisons are unfair because these films were bound to be different. It's not the CGI but the lack of it that puts Wonder Woman above, the Themiscyra scenes were extremely believable and legit as opposed to Krypton's new look that resembles previous Snyder flicks. The CGI in the final fight was placed better in most of the shots, mostly because Gal and David didn't have to fly around like Henry and Michael did. The villains were awesome, David Thewlis makes Ares such an epic and majestic figure with actual intentions and motives plus a good background and reasoning, not better than Zod but still pretty legit as opposed to Jesse Eisenberg and Cara Delevingne who don't even belong on the same category except for a few selected scenes. The cast wasn't as great because it was more subtle, they casted good and functional actors who give award deserving performances while Snyder casted a higher echelon with Costner and Crowe as well as Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. The score isn't as masterfully crafted only because Zimmer left, but not before the gift of Diana's theme which is the best since the creation of the Star Wars and Jaws theme songs, in a few years it will be remembered as such.

Even Spielberg didn't get the credit "A Steven Spielberg Film" on "Jaws" back in '75. I think Close Encounters was the first time he got that credit. So, my rambling point is, you really need a big hit to get that particular credit. Now that WW is a runaway success, I wouldn't be surprised for Patty to get the credit on her future work for DC/Warner Bros.
Yeah, but Justice League went to "meh" again. DCEU should focus and make a great movie again like this to equal to MCU. Bring that Petty Jenskin to make the whole DCEU. I know that when i watch this film DCEU have a great chance with this movie.

When I was watching this in the cinema, to come to the end and then see the first name that appears on screen as ‘director - patty jenkins’ was truly spine tingling. It is reminding the audience of who made this film in the first place and also who is at the very core of it. Such validation, like a victory...
