Fun fact: Hans Zimmer composed this piece of music before filming even began. When Henry Cavill heard the track on the set, he simply started flying. No CGI, no special effects, he literally took off.

I wish people would stop comparing every actor who played Superman to Christopher Reeve every actor has a different way of playing the man of steel. (The voice actors don't count in this one) And from what I've seen they all have done a great job John Haymes Newton, Gerard Christopher, Dean Cain. Tom Welling, Brandon Routh, & now Henry Cavill played different versions of Superman. None of these actors are like Reeve & shouldn't have to be each one of them held up to the mantle of the last son of Krypton.

The film is special for me, it taught me to fly in my Lucid Dreams. Sounds just like a symbolic, feels-good and cool thing to say, but I literally had never thought to fly over the ocean before lol. A few tries and I was going at that type of speed and I still regularly do it just for fun.
Even if it wasn’t necessarily Henry, or Zack, or Hans themselves that made that moment,they’re the ones that did.

Also "What are you going to do when you are not saving the world?" by Zimmer is also very good. Cavill's acting, Snyder's direction and Zimmer's score all define this movie as a masterpiece. This movie is really what made me believe a man can fly.
Everyone talking about 1:27 but 2:50 is honestly the best part of the score, so glad it made it to Justice League
Both times did, the first one was one his flight and the second one on his arrival against Steppenwolf.
They should have added this score more with his flight 2.0 scene

People hated this film for being too serious, but this was done realistically. The government won't allow a super powered alien to just fly around, they'll fear him and most people will do too. This is still the best DCEU film for me.

I like when superhero movies are more serious and realistic. It gives them more depth.
I like a serious superhero movie, but superman wasn’t really handled well in this, or the Kents. The idea of Jonathan Kent almost wishing Clark had let a bunch of school kids die to stay hidden is pretty bad, in the comics they raised him to be the guy that always helps people, in MoS superman was some depressed wandering loner who occasionally helps but only seems to embrace the idea of being a hero when Jor-El’s ghost tells him too. And then he does a terrible job of actually helping people and destroys most of Metropolis fighting Zod, when he should’ve tried to lead Zod somewhere else. The snapping Zod‘s neck bit I understand, but he didn’t try to help the thousands of people that were being crushed by the buildings he and Zod were flinging each other through. They could’ve made a more realistic superman movie without making the character dull and do things that are out of character for him. But then this is the same guy who decided to make ‘I have 1 rule: no killing’ Batman into a mass murderer who for some reason has no problem murdering a load of henchmen but for some reason didn’t kill the Joker or Harley Quinn...

Cavill is a genuine nerd and a legit fan. Letting him go was a HUGE mistake because the worst part of it was that they promised us that he'd return! He literally made an announcement and I feel bad for Henry Cavill, he lost Superman. He lost the Witcher all this man wants to do is play characters he loves.😢

That line went over everybody head. Jor El basically described the 3 movies he was in
The only problem with this Jor-El is that he's a martial artist... It would have made sense if he traded places with Zod in their fight, but Zod kills Jor-El out of frustration.. Otherwise, Crowe did an excellent job in that role
This line made me cry but gave me hope at the same time.

They were a highly ordered highly advanced warrior race, it was that instinctual in fighting that ended their people in the end, not the death of Krypton, though that helped markedly. Also given the factional nature of their society and the advanced genetic technologies they possessed their people were probably born with the knowledge of how to fight already pre programmed. Would certainly help in the myriad civil wars they had before Krypton fell that's for sure.

Man of steel is really the best DCEU Film . It's plot , direction and visuals were all good . Also , the plot was realistic

Much like the movie, where the young inexperienced superman is thrust into his role as hero dispite all odds! It fits the movie incredibly well :D

Khoa Mai Superman destroyed a whole fucking city to kill one dude, and then claims to have saved it. Its literally like the spongebob episode where he says, “we did it Patrick, we’ve saved the city” while the city is in fire lol. I mean I loved the action and origin tho.
