Thanks for the video, took me about 15mins start to finish. dismantled the old one, and there was a break in the wires where they went through the stick ball joint. If your no a budget you could probably just replace the wires.

Hello, I have a 2006 Golf MK5. There is a strange malfunction. The front wipers do not work in the morning, but the rest of the day they work normally, and the high beams blink. I replaced the wiper motor, but it did not help. I replaced all the fuses, but it did not help. The dynamo charges 13.7 and everything is fine. I checked it on the computer and it did not register an error. Please help...
Zdravím, mám Golfa 5 plusko, bude demontáž stejná jako u klasické pětky? Je to rok 05..odešly mi potkavaci světla a jediná možnost je už jen zkusit vyměnit páčku, jen nevím jak na to. Děkuji za odpověď 😊

Hey mate I'm just wondering if I have the same problem ?? I have a 2005 vw caddy van and when I switch on the headlights and use the high beams they only stay on for 5 seconds and then switch themselves off I'm replaced the bulbs recently and I've just been reading the forms seems to be the problem can you offer and advice on how to test the switch to determine weather or not it's the switch or something else ??
Intermittent then continuous fault. Pulling fuse worked until rainy season. Watched this but didn't have M12 spline remover. Took clip off indicator and filled housing with wd40. Stopped working. Bugger. But a few hours later all dried out and back to normal... Touch wood
Just changed the indicator stalk on my partners 2008 octavia, using this guide. Didn't use such a big knife though. Worked perfectly. Thanks
