    I have to admit, FSR 3 Frame Generation has come a long way since launch! Ghost of Tsushima is the first game that it actually improves my gaming experience on my GTX 1060. Great stuff!

      It has. It works pretty good and the fact you can toggle it independently of FSR Super Resolution is a nice bonus.

      @@TerraWare So which is better DLSS frame generation or FS3 Frame generation in ur opinion. In terms of visuals, stability and performance?

    • @sparda9060
      @sparda9060 2 месяца назад

      @@BuddyBoy1st That depends on the game itself how well it implements FRS3 frame gen. Since this is a AMD sponsored game since its a Playstation game using both AMD hardware in PS5/PS4, its optimized for FSR3 Frame Gen. For other games, it could be different either direction in DLSS or FSR3.

      @@sparda9060 I just watched another video apparently fsr fluid motion line graph wasn't as stable compared to dlss frame gen. Thanks for the reply anyways.

    It is crazy to me that any game after 2006 has settings lower than 16x AF. The performance hit is minimal, and the difference in texture clarity is huge.
    It isn't 1999 anymore people.

    • @MonkBD
      @MonkBD 2 месяца назад

      Yeah, I've always wondered the same thing. There must be an explanation tho... But in this game the Very High preset sets the AF to 8x

      Its due to lack of horse power in older GPU in 2006 and the very very lack of VRAM in GPUs in 2006 lol Same thing for shadows back then also. The less VRAM a GPU has, the amount of shadow quality eats up frame right like crazy like how Ray Tracing is doing the exact same thing. Wasn't until GPU had multiple gigabytes of VRAM that shadow caching was used to reduce performance hits on using shadow quality in games. AF setting was just due to how powerful modern GPU are vs 2006 GPUs in handling AF.

    Some solid performance from the RX 7900XTX in GoT. I love how these Sony ports come with so many settings, upscaling and other modern features that give us a lot of flexibility to tweak and tune the experience to our liking. I'll be looking at the RX 6800XT next and quick sneak peek it actually surprised me.

    That was buttery smooth with vsync at the end there. I love how FSR frame gen still doubles your FPS even at 4k native, I think that's amazing.

    Absolutely capped with RTSS if possible for low latency. For me consistency is king in gameplay over anything else, stuttering is something I refuse to put up with. If a game stutters bad enough I refund it on the spot unless I can smooth it out, really gets to me. If I was forced to pick, I'd play 30 smooth than have a stuttering high refresh experience any day of the week. Specially if the game is a masterpiece like Bloodborne. Also if you're over the refresh it saves on power so win win.
    Digging the showcases you've been doing with this game, thanks man!

    PS5 is definitely not using the Very High preset in this game. They most likely used a combination of optimized settings that suit the console's performance profile best. Let's wait for Digital Foundry's analysis to determine which settings the PS5 version uses.

    From techpowerup gpu benchmark charts 7900 xtx is far stronger than 4080 and infact it's not far off 4090. Great performance coming from AMD. sadly game is region locked in my country :(

    • @TerraWare
      @TerraWare  2 месяца назад

      I'll be doing a 7900XTX vs 4090 soon but yeah at a glance and from what I have seen my self the XTX seems to be close to the 4090 although I wont know by how much until I do a head to head.
      Sorry about the region lock, what a dumb decision from Sony. I'm hoping with the amount of people that have spoken about this perhaps they can revise it or come up with a solution. They should if they want to do PC as a platform right. PC is all about no boundaries. Within reason lol.

      @@sparda9060Inflation its normal, Real Life is much more expensive too. So priceing was at Lunch too much, but i think normal it would be 1300 Euro. Its Power will be legendary Like the 1080t. 4090 has about 25-30% more Power than a 4080. For the 3080 to 3090ti it isnt so strong. Also the 4000ths are much more powerful than the 3000th. Newer 5000th Cards wont be so strong. The 5080 will have lesser Power than 4090 and the 5090 will have about 15% more, i think so. Its Like from 1080ti to 3000th Cards. Also FG will get better optimization. WE will see, only my speculations
