The problem with death in comics is it rarely matters because it doesn't stick
I remember reading the Superior Spider-Man when it first came out and I have to say it left an impact on me and you have to be a damn good story to do that,This led to Spider-Man #700 becoming one of my favourite comic’s ever.

I own that comic..and now I’m just starring at this picture like 🧐.. but even better is the panel in the war of jokes and riddles that has deathstroke vs deadshot in a sniper battle while having their scopes pressed up against their altered eye..so slade has his scope against his bad eye, and deadshot has his scope pushed up against his already built in scope

The comic is called the fantastic four, not reed richards. Doctor doom is the antagonist of the fantastic four. Stop being a pedant.

Totally right, it’s little things like this that kind of bum me out about this channel. One can try to make an argument like above saying it’s the Fantastic 4 in general but cmon, that’s splitting hairs. Doctor Doom is Reed Richards rival. Similar to how there are many other villains in Gotham but the standout is the Joker.. he is the opposite of Batman. Just like they mentioned Loki and Thor, it’s the antithesis of your hero.
Correct. He's the fantastic 4's enemy but Reed's rival especially cause of ideological differences
You forgot that in death of Spider-Man he has a bullet in his gut from protecting Captain America from Punisher, and just had a bridge collapsed on him. He was severely injured before their fight.

I don't wanna be that guy but in a different video you listed daredevil as one of the 10 superheroes who have never died and I (in the main universe) and I don't know if this is a what-if story or not but I just wanted point this out and I would love some clarification.
Doomsday doesn’t count in my opinion as Superman wasn’t his rival or anything. Doomsday was literally just invented to kill Superman.
Hey What's Up Guys etc. etc. in comic universe doomsday was made to be a killing machine that more or less gained free will and started just killing everything. In reality he was made specifically to kill Superman
So from a comic point of view he’s just a beast that killed sups, in the real world it’s literally the whole point of his character to be synonymous with the death of sups, his name alone “doomsday” is all it even takes to be like “oh yea, that thing that killed Superman”

I think doomsday was just an accidentally invented to be an unstoppable force gone loose and somehow came across superman. He's relevant because he killed superman

@@DrippleDragon I never read the comic but based on the detailed synopsis I remember reading, it was really good. Really envelope pushing.
Mr.Wolfchamp 1999 ehhh it had mixed reviews but a lot of fans really hated it, there’s some parts I like about it and some parts I don’t, like a lot of super heroes unnecessary death, some jumping off the deep end out of nowhere, and some just straight up out of character, Ultimatum had its moments but was just all over the place but I’m glad there are some people who enjoyed it
And I definitely encourage you to read it and find out for yourself what exactly I’m talking about, because personally I started to dis like it a lot the further I got into it and almost completely dropped it when Blob ate the Wasp

Ya know, the funny thing is, I've never even picked up a comic book; let alone cared much for the franchise. Nonetheless, you make this entertaining. For that, I thank you for teaching me these things.

That was BuckyCap, and he didn't kill him. Bucky shows back up in Old Man Hawkeye turned back into the Winter Soldier with cybernetic eyes. Then Bullseye kills him.

No, it pushed the saga to new heights with a more interesting and fresh take on the character after all thoses years of staleness...the character was interesting and even more than thst, whorty of being part of spidey's legacy.

This is a misleading title. They are enemies and not rivals.
The word rival is defined like this: "a person or thing competing with another for the same objective or for superiority in the same field of activity." And as far as I know Captain America and the Red Skull or Spider-Man and Doc Ock or Superman and Doomsday or for that sake any of the other pairings you never had the same objective. In fact they had the absolute opposite objectives.
