      Well outside of today's versions which seem to be even less consistent and bad because of to many bad writers. Some where created to have conflicts created by their own hubris. Tony Stark outside of how worse he got in Civil War was mentally screwed up and being manipulated. Also Tony is the Hero expected to sometimes add to the fire instead of putting it out. Hank Pym is also a character who's good intentions sometimes create worse outcomes. Mr. Fantastic though during Civil War was portrayed completely off character. Yes he would likely sided with Tony at first, but the Thor clone and Thunderbolts via nanite bombs he wouldn't go with. The Ultimate Universe Reed would definitely as that guy is pretty much a villain by the end. Spiderman would have had his family protected before his initial confrontation with Stark. We know they left Doctor Strange out because of him tipping the balance so they gave the excuse of him sitting out till Capt was shot... Let's not get into the mess that came after with Spiderman during that event. It still irks me. Also how great Thor was brought back and beat down on Stark and not much later Thor has to give up his Odin/Thor Force to fix his dang hammer... Apologies I got way off tangent.

    • @VanTesla
      @VanTesla 4 года назад +22

      @Naquin Green Depending on the timeline the X-Men well some wouldn't like her. Since she sided with the registration and the X-Men where trying to just survive as a then dying race. She came by trying to convince them to side with the registration which the government at the time where already using Sentinels to "protect" the mutant population. Also Emma had a point how prior to the final event that started the Civil War with the civilian deaths, is that the de-powered mutants where massacred on school buses being sent back to their families which was hundreds dead. No one Nationally seem to give as much care about that incident. Prior to that then probably as she had good relationships before that. Outside of still tension between her and Rogue because of obvious reasons.

    • @trevinodude
      @trevinodude 4 года назад +30

      @@VanTesla The comic Civil War was a good idea in concept... but it was less than steller in execution (I mean Reed Richard making a Thor clone and what it led to with Spider-Man... which still pisses me off). I guess there is a reason why Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Captain America Civil War are often considered to be better versions of the CW storyline.

Eventually Carol came back and was like "What the f***? Why did you guys just let him kidnap me after he raped me?" Then the Avengers seemed to realize that they did something wrong.
      I also think this incident happened maybe a little bit of time after they had Clint accuse his wife of cheating on him after she was raped and victim blame her for it. I'd say that was more on the hands of Carol Danvers, Nick Fury, The Punisher, and the Sinister Six than Capand SHIELD themselves. Fury and Danvers power struggle resulted in a conflict that led to a situation where Spidey inserted himself into a conflict when he happened upon the fight and noticed Cap about to take a sniper bullet from the Punisher, and he used his non-super powered ability of human shield to protect him. Then he had to go save his family who were under attack from the Sinister Six and they're the ones who ultimately killed him. The fault lies with Fury and Danvers for fighting with each other instead of helping deal with the mass breakout of the Sinister Six, and then not even giving Spidey first aid when he was heavily wounded during their fight, and the SS for being the ones to actually attack and kill him in the end.

    They're doing the same thing with Superman which is probably going to also cause more problems then solutions. That Superman was a costume that allowed Clark to use his powers in public, while allowing him to be a person at the same time as Clark, because people have high expectations of Superman and some think he's a perfect god, instead of a flawed being with powers.
