You should never believe anybody without some decent evidence. Being female isn't an exception to that. Women are actually able to lie, the more you learn.
Cases like these just get my blood boiling. A whole bunch of people being incompetent AF, supporting(!!!) two psychopaths that, for NO REASON AT ALL... got it into their toxic narcissistic pea brains to try and utterly destroy a completely innocent human being. Why and how someone could not only think about doing that, but actually going through with it, is beyond me. The actual chain of events after that by all the people involved in that company is beyond my comprehension as well. How is this company even run and surviving if this is how this case was handled? How did no-one even think to check those camera's? On the other hand, perhaps a good thing no one remembered those camera's but OPs friend... or with the way they tried to go after OP, I would not have been surprised if someone "accidentally" erased the footage of that day. Those two women should face some serious consequences for falsely accusing someone of something that serious. Especially if you weigh it against their motives. I mean, if they had had some serious beef with OP or issues and disagreements that had been simmering for years.. still no reason to accuse him of SA which could quite literally destroy his entire life.. but then at least any sane person would get some sort of sense of why... but from this video it seems the manager doesnt know or work close with OP and as for the employee, OP did nothing more than say something about the mistakes she made, she wasn't written up or anything at all. And to spare her from any public humiliation he even talked to her in private and then she turnes around and goes to use that against him. (Bet if he had said something publicly, she'd somehow made a stink about it too) Thank God for the camera's in that room! As for whatever steps and measures were taken after the employee made the false accusation, EVERY SINGLE PERSON involved in that process of failure upon failure should be seriously reviewed and reprimanded. This is someones entire life they just blatantly disregarded and in the end cost the company greatly as well. So as a CEO id definitely rethink the position each and every involved person has in that company including myself. If they make mistakes of this magnitude and no one is apparently keeping anyone responsible for what they're doing, then there is 100% other stuff alipping through those cracks as well. OP Is one of the good ones, but they've obviously lost him, even though he did settle for a bit with them. He rightfully never trusted them again and still left after he had his ducks in a row. In my opinion he should have gone after them full force, but alas. Many falsely acused victims, (in my opinion they are victims) wont be doing any real retaliation out of fear of making the case bigger and more public. Having your name associated with sa is never good even if its proven without a doubt that youre innocent. People will make a negative connection still and many will think: where there's smoke, there's most likely to also be fire. And so the real evil and vile ones, those making these false claims, they never face any consequences.

ok. this may be only a fake story since I find it too absurd and I, fortunately, wasn't part of it but... the story is there to be told.
@WilliamWizer to honest I would not be surprised if this story was true
I’d never work for a company that treated me like that….NEVER
No, it’s now a hostile working environment. I’d settle for $2.5 million and not a penny less.
See, this is why "zero tolerance" policies are always fucking stupid.
I wouldn't return to that company...I'd just take that money and go look for a job elsewhere....and I'd learn that company a terrible review.
I remember the story and I was shocked that op didn’t reach out to the soon to be ex husband of his accuser and help him in his divorce with her.
Jesus christ man, why would you make such a small problem get so big!?!?!?!?! wtf man! This HR person is absolutely a huge problem not only for this company but for society!
I would not have accepted a job offer back. I would have continued my lawsuit for defamation and wrongful termination.
Why wasn’t there a second manager or employee at the meeting? It’s suspicious
After all this, was it wise to head back and work there? With Joyce still around?
I never would have accepted the job to work there again. After everything that happened? Sure it was HR who was the cause of all this, but no one dared question them nor handled it professionally. I would have sued for back pay, a year of salary, and a public apology.
The problem is that HR managers at other companies would see you as a threat
No sue contracts are non enforceable and are very hard to defend in court legally unless they pay the jury.
Never take legal advice from the counterpart
He should have gotten an attorney as soon as the video surveillance came into play. He should have let the attorney talk to HR.
Arbitration agreements end when your contact does. The instant they fired him, it would have been null, even if he'd signed it
go to court take their money
Should sue the employee too for false accusation
I would honestly be extremely tempted to continue with the suit. The fuckers need a lesson and the OP has the cards.
extremely tempted?
I would go for it without second though.
OP knew for a fact that he would win the sue. just one single evidence is needed. the feed from the security camera. if the company can't show it at the trial, they f*cked up for destroying evidence. if they show it, they f*cked up since it clearly shows they knew OP was innocent.
Joyce could go to prison for that.
Why was it only an internal investigation and not police
because a police investigation would had required to show the camera feedback and the company couldn't allow for that to happen.
I will sue
I just want to point out that everyone that did something horribly wrong in this story was a woman
That being said, cameras or not the guy was a bonehead for having that meeting where nobody else could see.
If you are in a workplace environment and are forced to deal with a member of the opposite sex then you either bring a camera to record it, or go to a place where you know their is working surveillance and make them fully aware that they are being recorded.
I would still sue
Lesson learned, always sue.
Would of gone sue the company for wrongful termination and sue that woman for defamation
This is why I cannot get behind the term "believe all women"
You should never believe anybody without some decent evidence. Being female isn't an exception to that. Women are actually able to lie, the more you learn.
Nice ending
Women bad
A couple of times when I've wanted to sign up for an American site, I've noticed the Terms of Agreement say that the user can't sue the company and any disputes must be handled in arbitration. Every time I refuse to sign up. Better without a web service I need, than to agree to some American legal BS.
The company that fired him knows they effed up big by firing him and are trying to get out ofpayingout hudreds of thousands or millions of $$$
Never tell them until you get the evidence through a friend or subpoena
I wonder if Deborah/Joyce had something against OP because she had no reason to do all that 🤦♀️
and you accepted your job back why you could've made them settle for huge amount of money if you went to the media their company will suffer much more then paying you several millions in settlement that's what i would've done and then i will go and sue her
How fome they cant terminate the ly8ng woman??? Sounds like the boss thought you was trying to get at they office peice and let you go by making up some shit
I wonder about the legality of the company hiding details of the investigation while the investigation was ongoing.
anytime i hear a "you know..." start to the conversation, I automatically look at that someone like they are the stupidest person I know.
Old story, changed by channel owner at the end, plenty of stuff missing.
The balls on this company that to say that OP waived the right to sue them, realized he hadn't and then send him papers to actually do that while he is getting legal council.
Story is fake. Someone on Reddit tracked this story back to one guy generating bunch of fake SA accusation stories as rage bait.
The thing is: The " arbritration clause" was null and void the moment they let go the employee without an earing.
Sir you made one mistake you should have never went in there with her alone you should have taken another female who you trusted who would be honest with you
Wow. Subtitle for this episode: "Joyce Digs a Hole"
...Nah...Nah you don't go BACK to he company that did that, my guy.
Company’s find it cheaper to fire the accused no matter what even if you can prove it’s false
This is clearly rage bait. Like like too much of us doesn’t make sense.
What the hell was Joyce’s beef with OP that she basically that as soon as she found a way to ruin his life she took it
Honestly that settlement is shit for what the guys higher ups of that company did
never settle, if settling was bad for the one sued, they wouldn't settle, ever
Bro just go get a mini body cam and a recorder so this never happens again
You have to sue or there will always be a question of whether or not you did it.
I would not have gone back there and took them for all I could.
can't even talk with women anymore. crazy
I would’ve sued for everything and the kitchen sink. This is an easy win at court. He would never have to work again. But hey, you do you man.
easy win?
either the company shows the security footage of the "suposed incident" (and they got screwed hard) or OP lawyer claims the company destroyed evidence (and they screw even harder)
False rape allegations should be a felony.
The most important thing I don't think was said is did he take that deal?
He could have gotten way more out of the company.
Arbitration was said a lot
So wtf did they investigate
where's the end of the story?
Mike Pence rule for all men.
Click the link, it will describe the whole encounter. It does involve him getting his job back. The woman being fired. Defamation cases against another woman. The accussing woman attempted to have evidence destroyed.
It doesn't really feel very adequate that they accused him of rape and spread it around town with the false allegation that he was being criminally charged with it.
Like that shit ends people's life in some situations. They should totally be made pay for it.
First of all, this man was incredibly lucky. No one should ever take a person into private in a corporation unless there is a recording of it and everyone is made aware of it. Second of all, the HR manager completely failed his or her job and should also have been fired.
Im not satisfied
Fake
Crap ending
Evil F-ing B.
Rage bait
I don’t know if I’d want my job back tbh if that was me I’d move on
Bro. Must have loved his job. Cause that sound like a million dollar case.
This dude is a G. He’s gonna have the top guys by the balls from now on.
