I loved how OP handled those spoiled entitled girls. I worked at my family’s storage company for several years and whenever someone said that they knew the owner, I had to laugh a little inside because they thought that they had a trump card, but it didn’t phase me a bit. I would just laugh about it with my family later.

My family lived in Okinawa for 6 years. In those 6 years, we didn't encounter even one single person who wasn't proud of their job and did the job to the best of their abilities. We made sure to integrate ourselves into their culture. We knew people who had jobs from janitors to the higher paying jobs. The employees and customers all treated everyone with the utmost respect. I don't know about other countries, but everyone who has a job, should be proud. We always treat every employee and people in general, with respect.
We love Japan. We can't wait to go back to visit.

For people not in the know on that level of the restaurant business VIP tables like that are almost always audio recording. The reason for this is as much for the safety of the diners as it is for the staff Fame and power go to people's heads and they can lose all perspective on proper social conduct.

You taught them a lesson they won’t forget for a very long time. Being a waiter is a skilled job. What a wonderful owner. He is not too proud to help out where needed. Not a jerk. what a fascinating take on entitlement in this video! it's really interesting to see how people will go to such lengths to assert themselves. honestly, though, i can't help but feel that the way Karen approached the situation could have been handled differently. i mean, there's a fine line between confidence and arrogance, and it's like she completely crossed it. anyone else think she could've just asked nicely instead of demanding things?

@@TimberlakeTigerGirl I'm not in the USA, but in any country, there should be very strict conditions to record audio. I've been in numerous eateries where I would be very, very annoyed if what I said was recorded, not because I said anything illegal or immoral, but because commercial matters were discussed which would be of great interest to rivals. I should point out this was a while ago and I was a very minor minion is all this, but there is a reasonable expectation of privacy is a restaurant and there are serious legal issues involved, at least in most countries. At the very least, data protection legislation is very strict about such things.
