Amazing product- follow these steps and it will do exactly what this video shows! ❤️🙏🏻
Thank you
Great video, great kit. Works a treat. Thank you.
I use a pressure washer to clean the table wood in about 5 minutes. The chairs take about 20 minutes. Yes I am careful to not cut the wood as can happen.
Does that mean you don’t do step 1-2 but do step 3? I do the same thing but it doesn’t give me the look i want color wise
Thanks for the great info. As to what I think about the final result, well, I think there's still about half of the table left to polish. I joke, great job! Night and day difference
I’m about to lose it. I’ve seen so many different ways. So if you clean the wood then you don’t have to sand it? But if sand it then you don’t have to clean the wood with a cleaner before oiling it? I like your video best so far out of the 6 others I’ve watched! 👍🏻
It all depends on how rough the surface is... I let my teak garden furniture go for 3 years and yes I needed to hit it with 120 sand blocks everywhere. Yeah it took some time but it also made it look much better. Cheers mate!
Hi there, thanks for your feedback! We would always recommend using a suitable wood cleaner before applying an oil. Sanding the wood before cleaning will not only give a smooth finish, but it will ensure all previous finishes have been removed so the oil can penetrate the wood evenly.
what kind of cleaner? Mineral spirits?
@@nonsugarfree a moist rag, frequently rinsing the rag to ensure the dust does not get ‘re-deposited’ on the furniture surface. Mineral works just as well.
Great video! If the wood needs a sand paper for it, do you recommend sand paper before pressure cleaning?
This should be answered. I am curious as well.
I went ahead and sanded my teak table and chairs. It seems that squirrels scraped their teeth on the wood. They left scape marks and ridges , so I sanded it smooth. I used a palm sander on all the teak wood furniture. Now o am ready to treat the wood with teak oil.
Happy with your example
Excellent video.. thanks
You could do what the boat owners with teak decks do. Wash with a solution of oxalic acid crystals and a scrubbing brush across the grain. Rinse thoroughly. Wear gloves and safety glasses . Never ever use a pressure washer!
Gorgeous
amazing results
Easy and clear , thank you
End product is misleading though as it the photo is taken when the wood is still wet so looks a darker and more coloured than the actual final result seen at the end.
good video😀
Hi! I saw in another video that you use the wood cleaner while sanding. Could I use a sander together with the wood cleaner instead of brush? Also, can the oil be applied with the soft applicator you sell or your recommend the cloth instead?
Hi, we recommend cleaning the wood using our scrubbing brush. Sanding isn't always required so it is best to do this after the brightener stage if you feel it is needed. It is personal preference how the oil is applied. As long as the applicator is lint-free, either can be used.
@@FurnitureClinic thank you
Would the kit you sell be enough to cover a table 86"x41" inches and 6 chairs? Thanks!
It can work if the furniture has mould?
Our Garden Restoration Kit isn't designed to kill mould, but it can clean off mould residues on the surface.
Would you use the same kit on the frame pieces? That's a lovely clean table top but the frame there looks like mine, full of algae.
Hi,
Yes the kit can be used on the whole piece of furniture.
Thanks
Super!!! But how can I darken the wood's colour if i want to?
Wood tint
We now have Wood Stains available on our website too. Once prepped, the wood stain can be applied to recolour and enhance the natural beauty of the wood.

Anyone spot the rainbows he made at 1:45
My picnic table sits on paver stones. Will the teak cleaner, brightener, or.oil.damage the.paver stones?
Or do I need to move the table onto a different surface?
Move the table or put a sheet/ newspapers under.
The stones may absorb oils and pigments and become discolored.

"In equal parts "
My new teak was originally Orange. After using the cleaner, it took off the color nearly entirely on some parts. Is that normal?
Hi, the cleaner will revive the natural colour of the wood. If you would like any help or advice, please contact us at enquiries@furnitureclinic.co.uk
Can't I just powerwash with the grain to clean it
Let’s see what it looks like after a week or month though... 👀
