Is the internal weight worth it from a sound perspective for you? Over mic there's barely any difference (I assume with case foam you mean the one that goes where the weight would go, right?)
That’s correct. The case foam is where the internal weight would go. So it’s either case foam or internal weight. What the mic picks up is what I hear too. Weight or no weight, not much of a sound difference. But HEFT wise it does make a BIG difference. The board without the internal weight is already heavy for my frail arms. So if you’re into that HEFT, I would say add on the internal weight. If you’re into the sound of a board, with foams, I would say the internal weight makes the board sound just a tad bit higher pitched. Imagine when smashing down on a key, it will eventually hit the internal weight as it’s right below the pcb. All foams + case foam makes it sound a little deeper pitched. But to the naked ear, it’s not really that much difference. Overall, I think the internal weight just adds more heft to the board + take up empty space(if no foams). But that’s just my opinion. Let me know what you think!🥰 Edit: If no foams/ no weight, hollow. If no foams + weight, less hollow.

Hello there! I am not sure if you will see this comment but I was wondering about the switches light diffuser, since it comes out is that able to be placed on the opposite side of the switch? For example I am wanting to buy these switches however my keyboard has north facing LEDs on the board and not south for the switches and was wondering if that was possible or not? If not I am pretty sure my LEDs are bright enough for if i take out the diffusers it'll still be just as good - Edit: Nevermind I see i cannot put the Diffuser on the north side but my next question would be since i can take it apart is the top housing able to be rotated around and placed back on?
My only question is why not have a sound test with all foams and the weight included? Would it not have a flexible typing experience after putting them all in?

The standoffs make the plate more stable :) It's to hold the plate up and in place.
