If you're like me and enjoy carrying a big fixed blade with a small folder, these make a perfect secondary knife for precision tasks, or anything like scraping that you wouldnt want to wear down a good blade with
@@Zeebo_Rowte that would be a perfect use case for something like this. I might start doing that.
I have a scalpal holder on my leatherman, I do a lot of working with plastics so having an xacto knife on my person is a useful thing, but it's a specific use tool along the main blade on the leatherman.
@chad9832 a scalpel on a multi tool is actually a really neat idea
I have the same one but with the jade type scales. Absolutely love it! Fixing to order the titanium version from Olitans and lightning anodize it.
@@tomcat8983 I would love to see a picture of that.
@@knivessportsandadventures9523 how can I send you a pic? I definitely will.
@@knivessportsandadventures9523 send me a way so I can send a pic to ya👍👍
What do ya think so far? I have the same one on the way but won't be here for a week ..hoping I'm not disappointed I don't need it to do hard tasks just need a sharp almost util style knife for work and not having to care to much about the blades is a plus
@trailman20 it's ok for light use. I would probably look for one with a sturdier locking mechanism.
Exactly as someone said, not their cup of tea. So don't expect it to do tasks it wasn't made for, dont try to pry things or cut thru dowels with a SCALPEL blade. This ain't Benchmade Bugout or Ka-Bar Becker...
Edit: Just had to add something else. You expect a disposable blade you just abused to cut thru paper, while it's literally 5 times as thin as a regular EDC knife.
@pastasuta definitely very thin. It would be great if you needed something flexible.
It almost seems like you're suggesting that prying is an acceptable, even normal use for a knife.
@@notreallydaedalus it's definitely not what a knife is for, but we have all done it 😆
Nah but he definitely knows many do it anyways
Dude, you said it is no good for prying? WTF and its sharp enough for some stuff, its a scalpel blade???
Not my cup of tea
I tried something similar and didn't like it. Is anybody interested in buying a pack of 99 scalpel blades?
