It sucked, it was awkward walking through the parking lot in high heels, etc .. the whole experience was stupid. Who wants to go out to dinner alone? (Fine dining) I was alone on New Year's Eve and purposely scheduled my flight ✈️ from Dallas to Miami on the 31st, so I wouldn't feel the pain of having no date.

It's so hard waiting. I feel like I've been waiting forever. It's technically been since May, but it's really been since 2017/2018. I feel like Jacob....He worked for 7 years for Rachel, but he got Leah and then he had to work for another 7 years for Rachel. I'm a 59-yr-old widow, and God knows what I need and when I need it, but it's tough being in the dark.

Please know that God is not punishing you. He loves you and does not care about your past. He is excited to love on You now. Be in the present with HIm now. He is kind, He is gentle, He is funny, and He totally gets You, sees You and deeply loves You❤ Ask Him to allow You to feel his presence. So that You have inner peace, and inner love while you wait.❤

God showed me who my person is a year ago. I’ve grown alot since then & I was hoping that we’d be reunited by now. But God is exposing me to “faith” in this season. I just hope I can work my way out of being obsessive bc I don’t want to idolize marriage. I’m just really excited about that promise.
I feel you… more or less on similar boat as we speak. Almost 2 years we’ve known each other. And had dreams about this man before we met, but I kept resisting, blocking and refusing him ( in my dreams), as I thought he was my ex in disguise. But looking back as years gone by, I realized that he was supposed to be the one. I was questioning/ had question God about who this person was, as I saw certain signs that matched up with my list of attributes this person was for me. One day, I passed by a church with this thought I asked who was my person. I was told that he was coming. The same evening/ night walking home posing the same question, I was told that in order to match up with this person, I have to be patient. It was not an easy task as he, the person was not ready yet, as he has to tie up loose ends and that I’m picky. I asked whether there is anything on my part that I have to work on. i was told that I’m already working on them, so I’m good to go. My person of interest and I have learned from each other and have grown since. We have a strong bond and have worked through a lot of rough patches. Now, I’m still skeptical whether this union will happen or not (naturally skeptical)regardless it is still good to continue to reflect, improve on oneself

My relative keeps calling me a "divorcee" saying that they believe that my last spouce will always be my spouce in God's eye and that ill be committing adultry if i remarry. I know that God doesn't punish us for getting out of abusive and neglecful marriages. ( I've been delivered from that abusive marriage for over 8 years) Besides only what God joins together no man can separate. But i got so tired of hearing peoole jusge me in my own family. I believe God has great things in store for us. Period.
First of all, I want to say how strong and courageous you are for choosing to leave a situation that wasn’t reflecting God’s love and design for marriage. ❤ God is a God of love, restoration, and grace-not condemnation. Romans 8:1 reminds us that ‘there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.’ You’re absolutely right-God doesn’t delight in abuse or neglect. He wants us to live in freedom and wholeness, and He has a beautiful plan for your future. Keep holding onto that truth! Let me say this, a lot of people get the scriptures wrong when it comes to divorce. Jesus understood the topic of the day. Men were marrying women and discarding them by way of divorce after using them all up. They never truly married them, they just used them. You are free from that marriage to marry again.

I’m 42. I had a prophetic dream in 2014. I found my old prayer journal last year and started crying as I read details of that dream. Later on the Lord reminded me that He has spared me a lot of harm. I started praising and thanking Hin for my single hood. I am serving Him more with all He has given me because I don’t know when Christ will come for me.

Im glad somebody can actually relate. It's definitely frustrating. I dont wanna sound selfish but these are natural feelings that alot of singles experience. Especially around holiday aeason when you've waited years, yet you are seeing others who havent dated long getting engages or married. God showed me my spouse thru dreams. God also also confirmed to him thru others. The downside to this is, he's been married before and does not desire marriage due to what happened. We datedvon and off for 7 years until a couple months ago. Long story but something happened that really disappointed me and at that point, i made up in my mind to detach from him period and never open that door again. Idk if it had to happen to send a msg to him or to know, there is someone better. Its hard to trust God and his plans at times, butcat this point, i rather trust God than myself. @LexAndLev Thanks for the reply. After watching the video I made a list of what I really want specifically in a person that God has for me. Then I read the Prophecy word for my life again that I had wrote down, just to inspire me as well.
ALL of my friends are married. In the summer of 2020 (yes during covid) I went to THREE weddings. Several of those friends have been married multiple times, the 💩 is discouraging when you're trying to do things the right way. I've been celibate for almost 4 years, no kids will be 50 next month. I got excited that another sister in Christ I connected with last year was single because I was thinking yes, I have someone who can relate to being single and we can hang out (because I just can't hang with anybody). Well she told me she got married 2 weeks ago😆😆she's been knowing him for years and they were friends but they recently got serious thru confirmation from the Lord! Don't get me wrong I'm NOT a hater, I'm genuinely happy for everyone but I feel really alone. A friend told me the other day that I'm surrounded by married folks because I'm supposed and meant to be married 🤷🏽♀️.

After being a widow, then remarried and divorced. I know who my Kingdom Spouse is, he is divorced and scared. I am over 50 and it has been over 5 years. I have learned to focus on obedience, serving the Kingdom, allowing God to heal me and him from trauma. God’s timing is perfect and His ways are higher. @ I have learned patience, more self love. That it’s not all about me but the assignment on our lives. I have learned more emotional intelligence. I remind myself that I never want to be in another toxic relationship so it’s best to wait on God. I am still here for a reason and very grateful for God’s grace, many are not here. I saw my mother in toxic relationships. I have also learned, in every challenge, setback, it’s a divine setup. I learned that nobody loves me more than God. There is so much more I can share. @lexAndLev I have done everything I possibly know to obey the Lord and truly take His process and preparation with the utmost of care and intentionality. I say that to say, this message was so refreshing to hear as there wasn’t an implied message of something being wrong with those who are still waiting and the reason must be because we’re not doing something “enough”, you both were so transparent and the humanness that you all felt along the way was relieving as I often hear that this part of it “derails” the wait even more or it’s a lack of faith and all this pressure. It can just feel a lot and while I know there are some people who want something but really haven’t done the work, that’s not the case for EVERY person who’s still waiting.

I broke up much later and contacted that man. After that I have been waiting for more then a year. During the waiting is when I found God and was baptised. I am ready now and I believe he is too and I am waiting for his proposal haha. So the waiting is hard because I miss and love him so much
Question, how can someone navigate one day praying and waiting for the God sent person but now you’re content and no longer want commitment or a relationship ? I’m stuck in between wanting to be single but unsure of God’s plan and don’t want to be disobedient.
I use to feel the same way until I gave all my feelings and heart to God( Tell Him how you TRULY feel). I did this and God gave me so much peace. God loves us all! God knows the right one and the right time. Thank God everyday and edify your singleness. Its best to wait for the right person. God wants the BEST for His people. Believe it and ask God to block and close all doors so youre not tempted, and dont fall out on His will. I am currently in this feeling as well. I think my waiting and discomfort as well as discouragement has caused me to shut off for wanting to even be in a relationship with anyone, and it left me questioning well do I actually want one or not. I think this feeling also comes from just feeling like God just doesn’t want me in partnership with anyone but him in this season. So I am confused as to if I should still keep praying for my kingdom spouse or just focus on non relational things.

(Fine dining) I was alone on New Year's Eve and purposely scheduled my flight ✈️ from Dallas to Miami on the 31st, so I wouldn't feel the pain of having no date.

It's so hard waiting. I feel like I've been waiting forever. It's technically been since May, but it's really been since 2017/2018. I feel like Jacob....He worked for 7 years for Rachel, but he got Leah and then he had to work for another 7 years for Rachel. Being a single parent and wanting is difficult. The family dynamic was never supposed to consist of one parent, but because of my sin, i and my children must endure this tough road until God says otherwise.I try my best to lean on His word in Isaiah 54 (God is my husband). This is not for the weak
This is so hard 😢 as a single parent our waiting season looks so different. Sometimes I feel like I am being punished because no matter how much I pray and work on myself God doesn’t bring my person. It’s so hard doing it all alone.
Please know that God is not punishing you. He loves you and does not care about your past. He is excited to love on You now. Be in the present with HIm now. He is kind, He is gentle, He is funny, and He totally gets You, sees You and deeply loves You❤ Ask Him to allow You to feel his presence. So that You have inner peace, and inner love while you wait.❤

God showed me who my person is a year ago. I’ve grown alot since then & I was hoping that we’d be reunited by now. But God is exposing me to “faith” in this season. I just hope I can work my way out of being obsessive bc I don’t want to idolize marriage. I’m just really excited about that promise.

I feel you… more or less on similar boat as we speak. Almost 2 years we’ve known each other. And had dreams about this man before we met, but I kept resisting, blocking and refusing him ( in my dreams), as I thought he was my ex in disguise. But looking back as years gone by, I realized that he was supposed to be the one. I was questioning/ had question God about who this person was, as I saw certain signs that matched up with my list of attributes this person was for me. One day, I passed by a church with this thought I asked who was my person. I was told that he was coming. The same evening/ night walking home posing the same question, I was told that in order to match up with this person, I have to be patient. It was not an easy task as he, the person was not ready yet, as he has to tie up loose ends and that I’m picky. I asked whether there is anything on my part that I have to work on. i was told that I’m already working on them, so I’m good to go. My person of interest and I have learned from each other and have grown since. We have a strong bond and have worked through a lot of rough patches. Now, I’m still skeptical whether this union will happen or not (naturally skeptical)regardless it is still good to continue to reflect, improve on oneself

My relative keeps calling me a "divorcee" saying that they believe that my last spouce will always be my spouce in God's eye and that ill be committing adultry if i remarry.
I know that God doesn't punish us for getting out of abusive and neglecful marriages. ( I've been delivered from that abusive marriage for over 8 years)
Besides only what God joins together no man can separate. But i got so tired of hearing peoole jusge me in my own family. I believe God has great things in store for us. Period.
First of all, I want to say how strong and courageous you are for choosing to leave a situation that wasn’t reflecting God’s love and design for marriage. ❤ God is a God of love, restoration, and grace-not condemnation. Romans 8:1 reminds us that ‘there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.’
You’re absolutely right-God doesn’t delight in abuse or neglect. He wants us to live in freedom and wholeness, and He has a beautiful plan for your future. Keep holding onto that truth!
Let me say this, a lot of people get the scriptures wrong when it comes to divorce. Jesus understood the topic of the day. Men were marrying women and discarding them by way of divorce after using them all up. They never truly married them, they just used them. You are free from that marriage to marry again.

I’m 42. I had a prophetic dream in 2014. I found my old prayer journal last year and started crying as I read details of that dream. Later on the Lord reminded me that He has spared me a lot of harm. I started praising and thanking Hin for my single hood. I am serving Him more with all He has given me because I don’t know when Christ will come for me.

Im glad somebody can actually relate. It's definitely frustrating. I dont wanna sound selfish but these are natural feelings that alot of singles experience. Especially around holiday aeason when you've waited years, yet you are seeing others who havent dated long getting engages or married.
God showed me my spouse thru dreams. God also also confirmed to him thru others. The downside to this is, he's been married before and does not desire marriage due to what happened. We datedvon and off for 7 years until a couple months ago. Long story but something happened that really disappointed me and at that point, i made up in my mind to detach from him period and never open that door again. Idk if it had to happen to send a msg to him or to know, there is someone better. Its hard to trust God and his plans at times, butcat this point, i rather trust God than myself. Lol

@LexAndLev Thanks for the reply. After watching the video I made a list of what I really want specifically in a person that God has for me. Then I read the Prophecy word for my life again that I had wrote down, just to inspire me as well.
ALL of my friends are married. In the summer of 2020 (yes during covid) I went to THREE weddings. Several of those friends have been married multiple times, the 💩 is discouraging when you're trying to do things the right way. I've been celibate for almost 4 years, no kids will be 50 next month. I got excited that another sister in Christ I connected with last year was single because I was thinking yes, I have someone who can relate to being single and we can hang out (because I just can't hang with anybody). Well she told me she got married 2 weeks ago😆😆she's been knowing him for years and they were friends but they recently got serious thru confirmation from the Lord! Don't get me wrong I'm NOT a hater, I'm genuinely happy for everyone but I feel really alone. A friend told me the other day that I'm surrounded by married folks because I'm supposed and meant to be married 🤷🏽♀️.

I love what your friend said about being surrounded by married people-it’s a perspective that speaks to God’s preparation. Maybe He’s showing you examples of what’s possible to encourage your heart. Psalm 27:14 says, ‘Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!’

Helping me realize that I have some things that I need to address with myself so that I am ready for that devine meeting and when its time its time. It also brings me peace to know that when that encounter happens, everything will in a way happen fast and swift. I have heard that from multiple people latley as well.☺️

After being a widow, then remarried and divorced. I know who my Kingdom Spouse is, he is divorced and scared. I am over 50 and it has been over 5 years. I have learned to focus on obedience, serving the Kingdom, allowing God to heal me and him from trauma. God’s timing is perfect and His ways are higher. I was told that when it does happen it will happen fast. This was a prophetic word given to me some years ago. I am casting my cares. I almost did not listen to this video.🙏🏽🤵🏾👸🏾🩷🙌🏽

@ I have learned patience, more self love. That it’s not all about me but the assignment on our lives. I have learned more emotional intelligence. I remind myself that I never want to be in another toxic relationship so it’s best to wait on God. I am still here for a reason and very grateful for God’s grace, many are not here. I saw my mother in toxic relationships. I have also learned, in every challenge, setback, it’s a divine setup. I learned that nobody loves me more than God. There is so much more I can share. I learned to be teachable, look for the lessons instead of seeing myself as a victim. I can go on…
I am grateful for my prophetic words but there are times I know I need to focus on growth and faith.

@lexAndLev I have done everything I possibly know to obey the Lord and truly take His process and preparation with the utmost of care and intentionality. I say that to say, this message was so refreshing to hear as there wasn’t an implied message of something being wrong with those who are still waiting and the reason must be because we’re not doing something “enough”, you both were so transparent and the humanness that you all felt along the way was relieving as I often hear that this part of it “derails” the wait even more or it’s a lack of faith and all this pressure. It can just feel a lot and while I know there are some people who want something but really haven’t done the work, that’s not the case for EVERY person who’s still waiting.

Thank you for this! I feel like the Lord wants me to keep working on my purpose and sharing his word in the process and then my kingdom spouse may come into the picture if he so wills. I thought I met her last year when I dated a lovely christian girl but it never worked out because I was looking to her to fulfil my life rather than the Lord. I was not ready. Trust in the Lord. @@LexAndLev thank you for your comment. With me it is different. I met my spouse when i was in relationship. I never understood how I never forgot about him while i was in relationship. I broke up much later and contacted that man. After that I have been waiting for more then a year. During the waiting is when I found God and was baptised. I am ready now and I believe he is too and I am waiting for his proposal haha. So the waiting is hard because I miss and love him so much
Question, how can someone navigate one day praying and waiting for the God sent person but now you’re content and no longer want commitment or a relationship ? I’m stuck in between wanting to be single but unsure of God’s plan and don’t want to be disobedient.
Ehh this is my dilemma.
I use to feel the same way until I gave all my feelings and heart to God( Tell Him how you TRULY feel). I did this and God gave me so much peace. God loves us all! God knows the right one and the right time. Thank God everyday and edify your singleness. Its best to wait for the right person. God wants the BEST for His people. Believe it and ask God to block and close all doors so youre not tempted, and dont fall out on His will. Its not easy , but nothing is impossible for God. trust me, Im still waiting myself. ✨✨ Just words of encouragement^^ God bless everyone!
I am currently in this feeling as well. I think my waiting and discomfort as well as discouragement has caused me to shut off for wanting to even be in a relationship with anyone, and it left me questioning well do I actually want one or not. I think this feeling also comes from just feeling like God just doesn’t want me in partnership with anyone but him in this season. So I am confused as to if I should still keep praying for my kingdom spouse or just focus on non relational things.
If you no longer want a relationship, you won. Desiring a partner for years and not finding the right one is torture.
